The Ethan Allen Hotel

I can't begin to say enough about how fantastic Eileen was. I have made a friend for life! I had to change my wedding date because of a sick parent and Eileen was there to accommodate every change I needed, even though we lost a ton of planning time and pulled off my wedding in 4 months. Eileen was able to connect me with some great vendors that I hadn't already secured on my own and they were fantastic. She went above and beyond to ensure our day was the best it could be and it was. Our guests are still talking about how friendly the staff was, how great the food was and what a perfect event it was. From my first interaction with Eileen and the staff to our wedding day, I can't say one negative thing. I highly recommend the Ethan Allen for your event and I hope I have the opportunity to work with Eileen again in the future.

Working with Eileen made the planning of our event simple and stress free. Our wedding was planned in 3 weeks time - which would never have been pulled off if it weren't for the professionalism and experience offered by Eileen and her staff at the Ethan Allen Inn. Everything looked beautiful, festive and the food was terrific. Eileen's recommendations for music and photography proved to be exceptional and added so much dimension to the party. Each and every aspect of the evening from ceremony to cocktail hour to reception was perfectly laid out for us and executed with great attention to detail. Our night was everything we wanted it to be.

All the success of our event stemmed from Eileen. She has wonderful taste but listening to her customer. She was very accommodating and ensured the whole staff was also. The space was prestine. The food was very good.

We cannot express, in words, how wonderful the Ethan Allen experince was. All staff that we encountered were extremely professional and courteous. We've given 5 stars for all categories - there's really no more to say, except thank you, thank you, thank you!

The Ethan Allen was a wonderful place for my husband and I to have our wedding!! Everyone was very accommodating in making sure that this day was extra special for us. They helped us with our menu, set up ideas, wedding favors and even helped us choose a dj, florist and photographer. All of their suggestions turned out beautiful. Not to mention our wedding was on the biggest snow storm in October, the Ethan Allen made sure that day went smoothly for us considering the 15" or more of snow outside!!!! Eileen Whitney-Cabral was the most amazing person ever to help us with this day!! The Ethan Allen should be so thankful to have such a terrific person working for them, and any bride getting there will just how lucky they are to have her help!! She was the biggest part of our wedding that made sure everything turned out beautiful and just how I had imagined. I would highly recommend the Ethan Allen to anyone looking for a place to have there wedding!!! The ballrooms are gorgeous and so is there furniture and set up. Also who could beat having a hotel right there for their guests so no one would have to worry about drinking and driver and can enjoy the open bar that they offer!!! I enjoyed everything and have received so many compliments from all of my guests!!!! Definetly 5 stars!!!!

I called up Ethan Allen in early April 2011 to ask for a venue for my daughter's wedding to be held sometime October and it so happened that a spot had fallen empty. From the very outset, the Director of Catering, Ms. Whitney-Cabral was professionalism personified. She advised us when we needed it; she catered to the brides wishes - sometimes outlandish at times; she helped out when we were in a crunch and the staff and management worked well under her directorship. The hor's derves were excellent and plentiful and the food was very good. My guests have been calling me eversince and have nothing but praise for the food, the ambience, the service and the ease with which a reception for 250 people was held. I would reccomend Ethan Allen to anyone looking for a sophisticated place to hold a wedding.

The Ethan Allen Hotel is amazing! There wonderful staff and outstanding event planner helped make our day one we will never forget. The roof had caved in at the place we had booked a year in advance and they canceled our wedding. We went to the ethan Allen three months befor our wedding date and asked them what they could do for us. They sat down with us one on one and created the most amazing day. We couldnt thank them enough!

This venue is an unbelievable place. The entire staff went above and beyond to make our day perfect, and we had some outrageous requests including having our dog in our wedding party. The director of catering even walked him!

Eileen Whitney-Cabral, the catering director with the Ethan Allen, made everything happen seamlessly for our Wedding Rehearsal event on Friday and the breakfast buffet on Sunday. She also helped us arrange a bank of rooms for our out of town guests....

Eileen was fantastic. She, and the Food and Beverages Manager, Alexander, were terrific and helped make my day absolutely perfect. They took care of every little problem that arose and went 100% out of their way to help make our day the most wonderful one we've ever had. I bought a gift for Eileen on my honeymoon and plan on giving it to her this weekend to show my lifelong gratitude and friendship. I cannot even begin to describe the ways this woman went out of her way for me. I'll never, ever forget it.

Our daughter had her wedding ceremony & reception at The Fox Hill Inn in Brookfield, and we needed a place for the bridesmaids and groomsmen to get ready and also to sleep the night of the wedding. The Ethan Allen Hotel would not guarantee the rooms for early check-in, so we were forced to pay for two nights....for ALL the rooms. Also, the only difference between the rooms and the suites were that the DELUXE suite has a refridgerator and a small table, all rooms look the same except for the fridge and table....and refridgerators cost fifteen dollars a night if you are lucky enough to get one. WHAT hotels do not have a fridge???? The TVs look to be from the 1980s and everything is out-dated. The staff is not very helpful or accomodating, and again it just looks very old and tired.

An absolutely fantastic choice for any bride in the CT area. The staff is extremely attentive to all of your wants and needs and the food is delicious. If you want to make sure to be treated like royalty give them a try.
