The Flower Cart

Stephanie was very patient with all of our questions and changes! Neither of us knew much about what flowers we wanted for our wedding. She made the selection process comfortable and easy. We wanted to make our own centerpieces, so she helped us complete our vision and had wonderful suggestions and information.

Delivery was on time (early in fact...they beat us to the venue!)

As for my wife, she said they were awesome! ^_^

The Flower Cart is a local business which has always been a place in the neighborhood that we have gotten flowers from. I have always been happy with the flowers from them. The flowers for my wedding were gorgeous! The colors were perfect with the bridesmaids' dresses (wine color). Carolyn was very helpful and allowed me to substitute and make changes to the designs as we went along. Their prices were very reasonable. Everything was simply stunning. Thank you so much!

Stephanie at the Flower Cart did the flowers for my wedding- we had a casual reception, with no centerpieces, but I had a bouquet and a table arrangement for where we set out the guestbook. Both were absolutely STUNNING, and and the table arrangement just set the mood perfectly when you entered the space. I had a spring wedding, and don't know much about flowers, so with only "Something Springy" to go on, the bouquet she did was perfect! Everyone I spoke with was very friendly, and they were very patient and communicative when I had questions or wanted to change my mind. It's been just about 3 months since the wedding, and people are still talking about the flowers!

We chose the Flower Cart in Perry Hall Maryland last minute, because our original florist turned out to be a bust. We booked them one month before the wedding. I met with a woman there named Carolyn one on one. Carolyn sat and helped me pick out all of my wedding flowers, with help from picture books. Where my previous florist just kinda said "what do you want" and waited for me to choose. I had never done this before and had no clue what flowers were called, let alone how to pick ones that looked good together. Carolyn was very professional and accommodating. She was willing to guide me as much or as little as i needed. We were worried about the short lifespan of my flower of choice the Hydrangea and Carolyn was able to assure us that by using attachable water sources that our flowers would be beautiful, even though we had to pick them up the day b4 the wedding. The flowers turned out beautiful,and the Flower Cart made everything very affordable, and was very easy to get in touch with for any last minute changes or updates. I would definitely do business with them again, and will recommend them to friends and family!

They offered a wide arrary of choices and their prices just couldn't be beaten. Every arrangement was gorgeous.

Stephanie Leen from The Flower Cart was absolutely amazing to work with. I am extremely picky and indecisive- and she put up with both! She responded to my multiple E-mails in a timely manner, and met with me several times to help me get exactly what I wanted for my wedding day. A million thanks to Stephanie and The Flower Cart! I am so glad that I used them for my wedding- the centerpieces and bouquets were absolutely amazing!

Rita was great when it came to meeting all my news and putting my ideas together. everyone at the shop was great!

Rita did a great job, however I did feel like the flowers feel apart a little easy.

For the most part, the flowers from The Flowercart were beautiful. They were not exactly what I wanted but they turned out beautiful and went with the theme. The flowers were very healthy and stayed strong throughout the whole event. The one problem I did have was, my flower girls were carrying "kissing balls" and right before we walked down the aisle (literally), the one "kissing ball" broke right in half for no reason...the little girl was just holding it. We made-do and we got many compliments about all the flowers. The women their were awesome to work with also!

Carolyn fron the Flower Cart was very professional. She was always willing to help with any questions we had. On the wedding day I was plesantly pleased with what we got. I was semi disappointed in my bouquet. I had asked for mainly gerber daisies and little of everything else. I got mini-gerber daisies and they were the flower that didn't stand out. The men's boutinerres(sp?) were perfect for the men in the wedding.

Right on Time. During your wedding you have a million and one things going on. And the Flower cart people help tremendously. The flowers were as described, fresh, and everything was arranged and setup. Just tell them what you want and when, and they'll have it setup on you're big day.

We truly have mixed feelings about this vendor. We ordered from them all at once for two weddings. Our daughter's ceremony was on Christmas Eve, 2008 and our wedding was on New Year's Eve, 2008. They have a branch at Hopkins where my husband and I both work - but they had me come out to Perry Hall to look at the different variations of the color red for the roses we were ordering. They were to ship the order to the Hopkins branch the day before my daughter's wedding as well as the day before our wedding. They did not have my daughter's flowers at 4:30 pm on Dec. 23th (they close at 5:00pm). They did manage to fix the mistake quickly, however, her roses were not burgundy and did not match her husband's vest and tie. The flowers were a bright red. We chalked it up to the fact that they had to throw them together at the last minute. However, the same thing happened when we went to pick up our flowers a week later. They were nowhere near burgundy (the bridal bouquet, nor the 4 bags of petals - which was a shame because I had made to trip out to Perry Hall to ensure the deeper red. We called to see if they could fix the problem but they just said "We get what we get from the wholesaler - we gave you the darkest ones we had" (which were a pale red). I ended up going to Cedar Hill Florists on the day of my wedding. I have gone to them my whole life and was using Flower Cart because it was convenient at work. I wish I had used Cedar Hill from the beginning - because the bridal bouquet they put together for me, with just 2 hours notice on New Year's Eve, was perfect, exquisite, classy . . . . and most importantly . . . . burgundy. Flower Cart was reasonably priced, but I have to say, after our experience we won't be using them again. We'd rather pay a little extra and get what we really ordered/wanted. Jim & Dana
