We had our wedding at Erin Court in February and it was so amazing! Erin Court was just recently purchased by the same people who own the Fountains Ballroom. It is owned and run by the same people. It was just recently renovated and everything looks beautiful. They have a bridal suite and a groom's suite which was perfect to get ready in! Amanda, the event coordinator, was great and made planning so easy. Our day couldn't have gone more perfect and it was all thanks to the fountains family! Our photography was through them as well and all of the pictures turned out stunning. Anyone looking around at venues in Omaha should look at Erin Court! Our DJ was awesome too! We got so many compliments about Brandon and we highly, highly recommend him. He was fun, energetic and made the ceremony and reception perfect!

We Loved It!!!
My husband and I got married at the Fountains Ballroom six months ago and we still hear people tell us it was the most beautiful wedding they have been to. Every detail was taken care of and they were even willing to make some big changes at the last minute. Our wedding party felt pampered as our every need was taken care of the day of the wedding. They even rounded up a needle and thread to sow on a missing button on the groom’s tux. My husband and I work long weeks and were in the middle of selling and building a house so our time was little and precious so having everything taken care of in one place made things so much easier. They worked with our vision and made our dream wedding come true. I have friends getting married now and I am amazed at how much work they are putting into their weddings that I never had to worry about. We had a beautiful wedding with a fraction of the work. The staff is very friendly and available when you have questions. Everyone made it feel like the world revolved around us. We really appreciated the special touches that made it memorable.

We got married a little over 8 months ago, and we still hear comments from people about what a beautiful setting the fountains ballroom was for a wedding/reception. The DJ was excellent and the decorations were gorgeous. We also felt the photographer listened to us and really tried as hard as he could to get us exactly what we wanted. =)

Our wedding was perfect! The Fountains Ballroom is an excellent place to hold your special day. The entire staff was so helpful in everything. They made us feel so special and went beyond our expectations. They took care of the things that would have caused me stressed which equals one happy bride! We couldn't have asked for a better day.

My daughter was married at the Fountains this spring. It was a wonderful experience. We were always able to reach someone by e-mail. We had a budget and we were able to stay within it. The staff was very helpful and caring. The only stress I had about the wedding was the stress I made for myself. Very Pleased.

I had planned my wedding for 11 months with their designer. i was promised the world on a sliver platter and it was not delivered. i was supposed to do a table mockup and after calling the designer 4 times and emailing 3 times to set up a time as it was getting close to my wedding with no response i called the owner and left a message. my phone call was not returned but i was contacted via email by someone else to do a table mockup. it was like pulling teeth to get the answer that my designer had been fired. 6 weeks before my wedding i had to start over from scratch on the design and set up as when the designer left he \"took my folder\" ironically with all of the pricing quoted to me in it. i contacted the fired designer on fb and asked to have my folder back. he said he did not have it and went as far as to have me call him when i was at the ballroom to tell them where he left it- which \"they could not find\" it had all of my personal information in it and i wondered why the ballroom would not keep better tabs on something like that. over the next 6 weeks i had no more luck with responsiveness from the owners even though they had blamed all of the poor communication on the designer that was fired. i had 7 tries to contact them logged with dates and times before i sent an email saying that i had assumed they had lost all access to telecommunications and that i would show up there the next morning unless i was contacted (they had a wedding to set up for on the next morning and i knew it. only then and only then did i get a response (30 seconds later mind you) that i was being rude and i would not want someone showing up to complain on my big day i simply told her that i said that just to get a response but that set the tone for the rest of the wedding planning. we had a pissing contest for the next 4 weeks about every minor detail. i was told the flowers i wanted were going to cost less than $1,000 only to find out to have them do what i had planned with the previous designer would\'ve cost me $2,400 and that the table decorations i wanted were going to be $12 a table only to find out that they were going to cost me $525 more than planned. They did not take responsibility for any of the misquoted pricing that THEIR employee gave to me and i had documented. i cried for 2 weeks before the wedding because i was so stressed out from the invoicing and having to find a florist who could put something together in 2 weeks under $1,000 and not make it look cheap. a friend of a friend got married here a year before me and had a very similar experience. i have another friend of a friend that is to get married there in july of \'11 that had a SIGNED contract to use their bed and breakfast but the family has decided to live there since they had a 3rd kid and now they are offering to put her family up in a hotel even though the nearest hotel is 20 miles away from the ballroom. i tell everyone to never get married here as most people look back on there wedding day and have happy memories...i look back on mine and am RELIEVED that it is over, the experience was horrible. the only good thing about this place was the two fill in photographers did a good job on the photos, but getting the photos was a whole other nightmare that i cannot get into.\r\n\r\nAnd in response to their response to me- if i was the issue how come i got someone elses photos in the mail this last weekend???

I believe that when people read reviews it is best to get both sides of the story.
Kim got married with us September 4th 2010. We wanted to give her the world on a silver platter. The problem was that she wanted to bring everything to us and have us put it all together for her at no charge.
We became aware that as we grew were harder to get a hold of. Now, we have a live answering service that is open 24 hours everyday, even holiday's to so that we are easy to reach. (We added this as we grew and couples were saying it was hard to get though.) We are also always available by e-mail. I do not know how she would have called the owners personal line, but I do know that we get all of our messages via the answering service.
When we met with Kim we did have her folder, but all that was in it was her contract and some table mock-up ideas. She assured us that the old designer had quoted her prices, but all the notes we had were just ideas without price quotes. We also contacted the old designer and asked if he had any other folders on Kim. His response was that he was not able to find the items for the prices she needed to be at so he could not get her a final invoice. She had brought several DIY items to him for him to put together, but her budget didn’t allow any room for the items she wanted. He did not communicate this to her prior to his quitting in June.
Our normal process is to get all of our clients written estimates that are logged into our computer system. Kim had not gotten any solid price quotes on any items they had discussed. We did try to work with her and even were willing to give her the majority of items at cost due to the lack of communication from a previous employee.
The more we tried, the less satisfied she seemed to be.
She called during a rehearsal and was threatening to come down the next day and ruin another brides wedding. We just explained that we would not allow her to ruin someone’s big day. When the designer walked out everyone had to switch to our new designer.
All of our prices are written on our handouts and fliers. They are stated in the contracts and detailed quotes are given as designs are finalized. We did see the paper she wrote on where she wanted to be, but none of the prices she gave us were verified with the office.
I am not sure who her friend was that had the same experience, but we did have a total loss fire with our business and home and pets in 2009. It was a difficult year for the business, and our clients. If you read the review on Face Book for the 2009 brides you will see all the positive feedback from clients we now are honored to call our friends. Some clients were concerned about us; others were not. Our main concern was to put the Ballroom back better then ever and honor all of our contracts for the coming year. We are proud to say we hosted some of the most amazing weddings that year.
The Bed & Breakfast on the property was offered in 2010, unfortunately it only booked 6 times during the wedding season. The couple she was referring to got price quotes on the service, but did not reserve the house. We still offered to take them for free to a hotel of their choice and offered two trips on the our shuttle at no charge. We are only 10 miles to the first chain of hotels.
Kim was sent a DVD of her photos the week following her wedding, and also was sent an album preview shortly after. She waited until Oct to contact us back with her album changes. During that week our graphic designer was on vacation, and she was contacted as soon as he returned, the changes were made, and the album was sent.
Planning her wedding was a nightmare on both ends. We honestly strive to give our clients the most beautiful wedding imaginable, but unfortunately we are not able to provide our services for free.
We wish Kim the best of luck.

We got married there in '11 and had an amazing time. The staff was so professional that it made planning a cinch. Our day was so beautiful and carefully executed. Thank you guys so much, I hope we get to come out again for a friend or family's wedding soon!!!

Beautiful venue! We got so many compliments on this part. Sometimes it was hard to get ahold of someone but our questions were always answered.

The venue is gorgeous! Our guests were so surprised to find such a beautiful venue, it was the thing we received the most compliments on. Staff is wonderful to work with and have lots of great ideas. Sometimes it was a little hard to reach them because they are so busy but our calls and questions were always answered soon enough.

I attended a wedding at this venue and I was pretty shocked by the actions (or inaction) of the owners/managers. I over heard the owners yelling at the father of the bride during the reception. They made the bride cry and get sick....on her wedding day! Despicable! The bride/her father had paid in advance for beverages, but the owners never told the bartenders, so the bar was charging (a lot) for drinks that should have been free (they never gave a refunds). So the argument I over heard was the bride and her father trying to get the owner to stop charging for drinks, but the owner just kept making excuses instead of trying to make it right. Another thing that bothered me, we had to get up from our table and walk to the bar to serve ourselves water from a cooler; that is pretty ridiculous considering how much I heard that this place charges per head for non-alcoholic beverages. One would think that those hundreds of dollars could have covered a couple beverage servers or water pitchers for the tables (as the bride was led to believe). Based on these events, and many other similar accounts that I read in other reviews, I would not recommend this place to anyone. Although, I have to say, the bride's pictures looked great, so the photographer is good (maybe he can be hired without this horrible venue?). But really the owners are terribly rude!

We have put a lot of time into figuring out to respond to this review. Unfortunately what a guest over heard was a misunderstanding of the situation.
The father of the bride had given his daughter a certain dollar amount for her wedding. The father of the bride had assumed that the bride had used that money for an open bar. Guests had been informed that the bar had been paid for. Unfortunately the bride and groom had not used the money for an open bar.
The confrontation that guests heard was us trying to explain that the bride and groom had paid for certain items, but the items that the guests were ordering were not included. Honestly, we tried to have the father move into a different room and talk to us about what was going on, but he refused. We truly apologize that a guest had to over hear this misunderstanding. We printed off a copy of what had been paid for and presented it to the father. At that time the bride came over and wanted to know what was going on. She also explained to her father that the bar was not paid for. (This bride was a district attorney - I can assure you no tears were shed.) Nor was our intention ever to get her involved on her day.
The other complaint from Anna was that we did not have water on the tables. The Fountains usually provides water pitchers on all tables as well as a water station on each side of the bar for convince. The catering staff that is hired separately by the bride and groom provides this service also and keep the water pitchers full. I was concerned that maybe we overlooked this detail on the day of the wedding. I checked the photos of the tables and all the photos show silver water pitchers in the center during dinner.
After the bride’s father understood the situation we were able to calm him down and enjoy the day. Thank You Anna for your insight. We are always looking for ways to improve our business and make sure our communication is open with our couples.

Our wedding was held at the Fountains shortly after their rebuild in 2009. Even though they were going through a terrible time in their own lives (losing their home and business), they made sure I had my dream wedding. They met with me numerous times to discuss my design as well as any questions I may have had about anything involving our wedding. Our wedding was absolutely beautiful and the best day I could have asked for. I can only imagine what they can do for couples now. If you're thinking of the Fountains set up a meeting and you will immediately be impressed with not only the setting but the kind, family like service you will receive. As a side note, our wedding was on a Friday and it was perfect. You have the whole day to get ready for a later wedding after people get off work (and trust me, people will still come) and then you still have the whole weekend to relax or add a day to your honeymoon.
