The Grand Event Center

The Grand in Northfield, Minnesota was a beautiful location for our wedding reception. It was an old opera house and still has many of its charms. Chuck is the owner of The Grand. He was very helpful when making arrangements and answering any questions we had. The menu had a variety of selections from prime rib to chicken to walleye. We selected prime rib and chicken and received rave reviews from our guests about each of them. (side note-Chuck does all of the cooking himself) The Grand was romantic and fun. Our guests still talk about the time they had there and that is almost a year ago.

The Grand is not only a unique and beautiful space to hold wedding ceremony's or receptions, but the food and customer service are excellent. Everything was great from the staff, to the food, cusomter service, and ambiance. We were a little leary in the beginning with lack of communication, but after we expressed our concern they were very flexiable and accommodating. Its been months since our wedding and people are still talking about how cool the venue was, how great the food tasted (espically the prime rib), and how wonderful the staff was. We had a few hiccupps the day of but they were taken care of immediatly and I never had to worry about a thing. I would 100% recommend The Grand to anyone who asks, just check out the pictures on the website.
