The Grove at South Creek

Management also changed during my wedding planning, but the only glitch was a very short lapse in email responsiveness. I sent an email, didn't receive a reply for a couple of days, so I called and everything was taken care of. The food was absolutely WONDERFUL, the staff was helpful and friendly, and everyone had a fabulous time!! The food was SO MUCH BETTER than I ever expected, and the best food I've ever had at a wedding. The venue itself is gorgeous!!

Unfortunately for us The Grove went through a management change during my wedding planning. No one contacted me to let me know that my point of contact was no longer with the company - I called one day after I hadn't received a response to any of my phone calls or emails. At this point my invitations were already printed. This is the point we also started being bombarded with changes to our contract - to make a long story short the original manager overpromised, the new management underdelivered and it was our problem the whole time.
The day of the wedding the staff insulted our DJ - telling them their food was located in the back of the kitchen rather then serving them as we had requested.
Overall the wedding went off very very well - but it wasn't easy. Thank god I had an assertive groom and brother to deal with them so I didn't have to stress.
