We were disappointed with the Henry Ford Museum. We loved the space & private access to the entire museum for the night. Our greatest frustration was from our event coordinator who responded with indirect answers leaving us unsure & confused. We would have appreciated a more honest relationship from her. Issues: Price quotes-when requested she would answer what the price will probably-most likely-pretty sure-be, take time to contact vendors, then respond w/ a different price, i.e the chairs: The materials quoted chairs at one price, she verbally quoted a different price, 10 days before the wedding we got a third, much higher price. No apologies. We felt we didn't receive great service from her bc our budget wasn't high enough. Neglectful/disinterested service the day of. Waitstaff & bartenders were great. Our day-of coordinator was awful. My MOH had to find her after we were outside for an hour, she never introduced herself to me or my husband, and once inside she disappeared. We finally asked a bartender where to go for bridal party into & never saw her again. Food- don't expect a full tasting (only 2 entrees). I get their reason but would have appreciated upfront honesty. Food was great at the tasting, but our beef was overcooked & dry the night of our wedding. Lack of transparency with charges- final invoice was difficult to understand. No-show guests were charged for their bar package, our coordinator responded that we would not receive a refund, no explanation. The mgr admitted that we should be refunded the bar charges, was sympathetic of our bad experiences & told us she would call us back in a few days- months ago. Never heard from her again. I loved that the museum brought a piece of my childhood to my wedding now that I live out of state. Nothing else was exceptional.

We got married at Lovett hall part of the Henry ford museum. It's the most beautiful hall and diamond in the ruff! My wedding was beautiful and the food was awesome! It's pricey but worth it. A first communication was tough but toward the end it got much better and they even made special arrangements for us. They ended up being super flexible with us! We did have to rent our own linens, chair etc so that can add up so be sure to ask up front what is and is not included as well as strict rules they have. They are great to work with though :) would get married here again. Our guests raved about how gorgeous and dream like our venue was :)

SIMPLY AMAZING!!! I knew it would be a fairytale from the moment I looked at the venue. The Henry Ford was unbelievable. I worked with Jennifer during all of our planning process and she made the entire experience wonderful. She answered all of my questions (sometimes multiple times because I forgot the answer) and was quick. From the food tasting to making sure everything was delivered the week of the wedding, everything was flawless. I saw her the day of the rehearsal and the wedding day which made me feel so comfortable. Our guests LOVED the idea of being in the museum. Many were shocked when they found out they could walk around the entire museum for the night. The food was amazing, the staff was so helpful and nice. I could go on and on. We had an amazing wedding at an amazing location and we could not have been happier.

We fell in love with Lovett Hall upon the first time looking at pictures online. When we took our first tour, we knew this was where we'd be married. Aside from being beautiful it its own grandeur, the hall has limitless opportunities to personalize your event. Both our planner and food/beverage manager were extremely helpful along the way and helped make our wedding turn out as wonderfully as it did. Lovett is not the place for the budget-conscious bride to get married though, food and beverage costs are very high as are their restrictions on bringing in outside favors/food.

There are no words for how perfect this site was!!! I am still getting compliments of the service of the staff. Worth every penny! The food was soooo good!!! A friend called and talked about the cake, another said the salmon was so moist and tasty! We loved everything

Everyone at the museum was incredibly helpful, attentive, and understanding. Attention to detail was amazing. They book up well in advance so be ready for that.
The food was incredible. We got tons of comments that it was the best wedding meal any of our guests had ever had.
If you really want your guests to dance a lot at your wedding, having the wedding in the museum makes that really hard... guests have the opportunity to look at all the exhibits!
