The Herrington Inn & Spa

This was a fantastic venue!! They really try to think of everything and anticipate the needs of both the guests and the bride & groom. The transition from the ceremony to the cocktail hour to the reception went smoothly. My guests were thrilled; I was happy. The food was actually better than I remember my tasting being. The staff was professional and relaxed, which only contributed to the entire atmosphere being friendly and fun. I was not a particularly detail-oriented bride and this day was executed perfectly. It was exactly what I hoped.

We stayed here two nights and my bridal party and I got ready in our room. The Inn is beautiful and the photos we took there turned out so amazingly beautiful. The complementary breakfast was delicious and the milk and cookies at turndown was a real treat. I would recommend The Herrington for any wedding related activity or even just for a retreat. Very satisfied.

We could not have been more pleased with having selected The Herrington Inn as our wedding venue. Deanne Mitchell (the events coordinator) was so wonderful to work with. She ensured that all the details were taken care of, so that our wedding day was stress free. Our guests could not say enough about the delicious food, top-notch service, and beautiful ceremony in the court yard. Additionally, the guests that stayed at the Inn loved their rooms! If you choose to have your wedding at the Herrington, you will not be disappointed.

Beautiful inn and rooms. Ideal settings for photographs. A little pricey but worth the price. staff was very courteous and professional. Bride ad bidal part stayed the night before the wedding and bride and groom after.

We had our wedding ceremony in the courtyard and our reception followed in the pump house. Deanne was extremely helpful on the day of our event. Everything was seamless and couldn't have gone more smoothly. Our guests raved about the Herrington experience. The food was outstanding, and the service was top notch.

One word, A M A Z I N G, for Deanne and her staff. I didn't have to worry about thing going wrong on my big day because she took care of everything. Deanne is included in the price of the venue which makes it absolutely worth every penny. Our guests still can't stop talking about the amazing food, bar and all the condiments at the coffee station. My husbands aunt said, 'it was the best wedding she had been to in 64 years' and she has been to her share of weddings. I cannot ever say enough positive things about Deanne and the Herrington!

OMG! I don't know where to begin. The Herrington Inn and Spa were just amazing. Our coordinator DeAnne was excellent. DeAnne was very professional and easy to reach on the phone. Our outdoor ceremony and reception was exceptionaly beautiful and elegant. The waiters and servers were professional and courtious. Thanks you so much.

My husband and I were married at The Herrington Inn on May 1st, 2010. Deanne, the event coordinator, was wonderful from beginning to end. We planned our wedding from Denver, CO and their communication was excellent. Deanne helped with everything including the logistics of our ceremony. On the day of our wedding I didn't have to worry about anything. At The Herrington, your guests are instantly smitten with every detail. The food was amazing and received rave reviews from all of our guests. The entire evening was a hit! My husband and I HIGHLY recommend The Herrington!

The Herrington Inn was a wonderful location for our ceremony and reception. The hotel is beautiful and all staff are friendly and very helpful. This is a must for brides to consider for their wedding!

This is where our room block was and I felt compelled to write a review because it was so amazing. Every guest that stayed there just raved about it. We were able to get a discounted rate due to the room block and time of year but not only is the hotel setting so spectacular but everything is high class down to the milk and fresh baked cookies left in your room at night. Well worth the money. Even if you don't do a block there I would recommend going and escaping for the night. IT truly is a gem.

The Herrington Inn provided the perfect place for our reception. The main room is beautiful inside, and overlooks the gorgeous Fox River. The staff were incredibly professional and courteous. The wedding coordinator was absolutely amazing. She took care of every odd request and small detail with efficiency and grace. I would recommend this place to anyone. We had a lunch reception, and I would definitely recommend it to anyone.

This is the best place to have your wedding! We had a small wedding (50 guests) and it was more beautiful than I could have ever imagined. Married outside in the courtyard . Reception room (the creamery) isn't your run of the mill banquet room, it is much more beautiful! Even though I chose to have a less expensive wedding I was treated like a million dollar client. Everything from the food to the service was beyond phenomenal. Typically weddings at this venue cost much more than we could have ever afford but having a morning wedding and a lunch reception made it affordable and I still got my Saturday wedding. Best location for pictures and they include your cake in your package. The bakery didn't prepare the cake exactly like cakes in those bridal magazines but it barely phazed us because it was such a wonderful day.

For the price paid, we got a riverside venue for our wedding, a reception spot, and a place for some of our guests (including us) to stay. Depending on the time of year, the river and beautiful landscape and background of the fox river give you a phenomenal backdrop without having to invest more money in flowers and decorations. The reception site was excellent. The only annoyin part about it was that there were two other weddings that day before ours...and the second one was still clearing out of the reception site when we were arriving, so we couldn't really get in there easily to decorate our tables, which my mom and I wanted to do. The food was awesome!...no complaints at all there, and they accomodated our vegetarian friends no problem. The organizer was hard to get a hold of at times, and her direction during the ceremony was a bit lacking but if you head my advice and know that in advance you can avoid the only downsides of my day.
