Historic Del Monte Building

Our Wedding at the Del Monte was beautiful. Working with Maria and Vince was pleasurable. After searching everywhere for a reception venue, I knew this location was "The one" the moment I saw the Grand BallRoom. We wanted a large open room with beautiful detail and that is was Del Monte had. The Grand Ballroom has beautiful wood work all around and windows surrounding the room. A large REAL dance floor and perfect lighting.
The wedding packages were very helpful as all the food, cake, table linens, chair covers, centerpieces, bar and even DJ if you needed it was included in their many packages. It makes it easy to plan your wedding when all your vendors are managed by your venue. All I did was chose what I wanted and Maria and Vince took care of the rest. I was able to move my package around as much as I needed until the final week before the wedding. The execution of my wishes was fulfilled until the very last moments onsite.

We had our wedding reception here in April 2010. Unfortunately this was during the time when Murphy was getting completely renovated, so the roads were all tore up, with construction gear everywhere. This really bummed us out because we weren't really able to take any outdoor pics on the (what was) cute street there. If we had known that there was going to be construction during that time, we may have gone with a different venue.

Luckily, Maria, the staff, and venue made up for that damper. Some of our guests are still talking about how yummy the food was at the reception! The bartenders were awesome too, making sure our guests were having a grand ol' time.

I have to admit that I was a bit worried since Maria was hard to get a hold of sometimes (via phone AND emails), but everything turned out great in the end, and that's all that really mattered to us!

They are amazing that is all I can say. With a wedding of 350 you know I had a hard time finding someone with a great price and great food. They did my food but at a different venue and everyone was blown away. They kept asking where we found them and how good the food was. They will work with you and make whatever you like. You got to call them they are amazing!!!

We have booked our October wedding at The Historic Del Monte and I am very excited to hold our reception at such a beautiful place at an affordable price! Maria has been great at answering all of our questions in a very timely manner and has worked with any changes to accommodate our budget and our vision. We have our tasting in a couple months but we have no worries because we have eaten at The Del Monte restaraunt(the caterer)many times -the Del Monte Chicken is our favorite and happens to be also offered as one of the entrees for our wedding package. I will update this review after the wedding:)

They made my wedding beautiful I didn't worry about a thing and they were there for my every need or wish even if it was out of their way. They are amazing at what they do and always have a smile for you !

The food was wonderful...though it was very hard to choose what we wanted and I didn't really eat at our reception!

I went to a wedding at the Del Monte Building last year and it was lovely. =) It's a great place to have both the ceremony and reception, and best of all ... dogs are allowed! The dining room was very spacious and grand with the feel of an old mansion, and was adjacent to the bar for easy access ;)

The Historic Del Monte is incredible. The facility is beautiful and classic and the staff is great. They really seem to love what they do. And their wedding package deal was wonderful. I didn't have to worry about finding a caterer, dj, baker, or florist. It was all included. I could recommend this venue more. It is absolutely wonderful.

It seemed like a majestic wonderland, with old world charm in the ballroom, you could just see how it was in its glorious past. We never had a worry, they took care of everything and made the day and afternoon wonderful. Both inside and out the venue was perfect, as is easily seen that it is tended with loving care. The food was plentiful and tasty, no one went away hungry. There was more than enough room to dance and have a great time, which everyone did. They went made our daughter's wedding unforgetable! The cost was reasonable for the service and the food was excellent, the staff was very friendly.

I loved having my wedding at Historic Del Monte because they provided so much with the cost of the evening. It was beautiful and spacious and perfect for the day.
