I printed out everybodys picture and placed it in a coaster so it served as their place setting. Super fast shipping and great customer service. Wait til there is a sale! Also, a couple times I put stuff in the basket when I was logged in and didn't buy..so they'd send me an email with a 10% off coupon if I finished my sale!

we bought theses adorable “key to my heart” bottle openers. They looked like skeleton keys and were already pre- boxed with ribbons on them. They created wedding tags to add on and we go to pick what it said, what color and shape and what design to put on it. It was personalized and perfect and did not take much to assemble (just tying the tags to the bows) They were the same price as other companies selling the same thing when shopping around.

I've had only the best experience with TheKnot.com. They provide all the help you need when planning a wedding from budgeting to guest list. I have also taken advantage of their knot.com store. We have purchased our groomsmen gifts and our unity candles from them. Be sure to watch for a sale! I could not have gotten this far planning my wedding without them. Only about a month to go!

I bought my cake serving set from them. I was not very pleased. Shipping was expensive and slow, the engraving was done on the knife when I thought it would be done on the spatula, and the picture didn't display these rounded edges that ended up being on it.

It wasn't a terrible experience for something that wasn't very important to me but it wasn't great.

Make sure you check out their forums with great info from other brides and entire weddings that were DIY'ed. They post pictures and links to how different things were made and how they turned out. Check it out - you'll be happily surprised!!

Stuff looks cheaper in real-life than online. So if you buy something that seems like a deal, it probably won't be as nice as it looks online. I learned that the hard way with our thank you notes. Still used them, but definitely looked way shabbier than the views online.

The knot had a sale going on for favors for a dollar a piece. I was able to get sandalwood fans for a buck a piece and a small shipping price. It was at least 99 cents less than anywhere I had looked and it was exactly what I wanted. They were shipped to me in less than 2 weeks and came in their own individual boxes. They had lots of other cute favors on sale but I had to restrain myself.

Ordered the favors...2 glass coasters that allowed for a picture to be placed in view ... small but were very affordable and a great gift! The delivery time was fairly quick.

I bought bubbles and personalized hersheys bar wrappers ($15 for 100) You can buy the chocolate with the personalized wrappers already attached ($30 for 150), but the shipping is $50, versus $15. The website is easy to use. They also have refurbished disposable cameras for weddings, starting at $1.99 each.

The knot (theknot.com) was an excellent way for my fiancé and me to inform friends and family of our upcoming nuptials. We were able to create our own webpage with pictures, updates, and other important information like the guest hotel accommodations and directions to the wedding. While a bride is planning her wedding her schedule is typically stringent and doesn’t allow for updates to everyone of each small detail, but with the webpage I kept everyone up to date on all the important dates associated with the big day. The webpage also allowed guest visiting the site to leave well wishes for us so I printed each message and I am able to look back and read the various notes that were posted on our site for our special day. This also allowed individuals that were not able to attend the wedding or out of state to know what was happening within the wedding planning circle.

the wedding website lets you have a free website, and guests will RSVP whether they are coming to the wedding or not. I would say that this didn’t work so well. Many of our friends saw the site and said that they love the site, but very few of them RSVP on the site. We still had to chase down people to make sure whether they were coming or not. The site idea is nice, but it was work and in the end it didn’t really help us with our planning. Maybe if there was a feature that would let us add in guests manually that RSVP, that would be a good idea. And to have a better print feature, so that we could print up the list in a legible manner.

The knot offered great deals on many of the wedding favors. We received exactly what we expected and in a timely manner.

As soon as I got engaged I signed up on theknot.com. I love the website. I have found so many different topics that I've had questions about. I love the amount of information on the website and the fact that they have pictures posted of just about anything and everything you can think of that is wedding related. I have used the pictures to find a hair style for the wedding and for different cake ideas. I even used it to help pick out a bridal bouquet that I liked to pass on to my florist. I used the site to chose the flowers for my wedding. I had no idea there were so many different kinds of flowers out there. I have used the site to get answers to those questions that others just don't seem to know the answer to. I don't know what I would do without the site.

Once you've finished something, you can just check it off and move on. They also give you a pretty good time line so that you know when you should be doing everything. I've never really wanted to plan an entire wedding so having something that practically holds my hand and walks me through every step of the was came as a huge blessing. We found these beautiful and practical favors online at what we thought was a very good price. It is a set of 2 glass coasters with etching of the word love underneath the kanji symbol for that word. Each set is tied in sheer red ribbon. The more you order the lower the price goes! These will be part of our favors for the wedding in September. All we'll be adding is a set of chopsticks.

TheKnot.com has been very helpful in planning our May wedding. The ideas and tracking features really have added value as we continue to search for the best ideas for our reception site, track our guests, manage our to-do list and more. Also, we have ordered several items off the Wedding Shop section of the site. The only thing I don't like is searching for vendors. The geographies are so broad it is hard to truly narrow down to the area you are getting married. This results in paging through several vendors that aren't even relevant to your venue.
