Little Church of the West

Perfect from start to “forever”!! Lisa and the rest of the staff made my long distance planning stress free. The church was beautiful and the ceremony was from the heart. One thing I wasn’t aware of was make sure that you have the license with the first person to arrive and not the last. I had several elderly people that needed to sit down and we were not allowed in the church until they had the license which I had given to a friend to bring. She was the last person to arrive. Something I probably should have known. I would do it all over again tomorrow with Lisa and the rest of the gracious people at The Little Church of the West. Wish they would have posted some of our pic's on FB.

Memorable experience. The setting and the friendliness of the people assisting us was outstanding. They made us feel right at ease and used a personal touch.

Quick but very personal experience. Just what we asked for, a very quick yet very personal ceremony. With the added package of the photo's we were looked after by your photographer, we were made to feel special and felt at ease the whole time. Lovely chapel, lovely people and an amazing experience.

Organized and easy wedding.
There was nothing to worry about. I bought a package and the wedding went smoothly. The photographer/host was very friendly and knew what he was doing. It was simple, exactly what I wanted!

This review is coming from the Groom, my Bride is right behind me though. We had a WONDERFUL experience with the Little Church of the West. I would GREATLY recommend this venue to all. The Limo was early to get us and waited patiently for us to come down. When we arrived the Bride went off to her room to prepare, and her maid of honer went with her. To me waiting outside for her I worried that the room provided looked to be to small but she said it was very nice and had plenty of room. The place was very clean and just what we had hoped for. We are religious and I worried that the Vegas wedding might take away from that or lack a certain level of class; nothing was further from the truth. The service went off fine and was performed beautifully! The photographer was amazing! The photos are so nice and I am not a very photogenic person. I recommend getting the Vegas sign photos in your package, they were truly amazing! I gave a 4 for professionalism because the people were also laid back and down to earth. It wasn't like sitting down to negotiate a car loan, it was like talking to real people that cared about the wedding. I would do it all over again in a heart beat!

Incredible. Elvis was awesome. Overall, the wedding was fabulous. Our family and friends had a great time. I only wish Elvis would have actually performed the ceremony, like we were thinking was going to happen.

Little Church of the West was FABULOUS!!! I planned our entire vegas wedding from the comfort of our east coast home and chose little church because it had enough room to fit the 60+ guests we were expecting for our wedding. We chose the Forever True Package and added the Vegas Sign photo package to it. It was PERFECT. The flowers were gorgeous the staff was so freiendly and easy to work with through the entire planning stage, The phtotography is great, and the photographers were soooo fun to work with! We ended up having the entire group go out to the sign to take pictures and they were so great at getting group shots! It was simply wonderful! looking back on our wedding day I cannot say there is anything I would do differnetly. I was thrilled with the way everything turned out and all of our guests LOVED the chapel!

Perfect, everything we wanted. Our wedding was perfect. the chapel is beautiful and quaint. The minister was sincere and warm and the staff was friendly and helpful. Everything was great. we wanted a simple and sincere wedding that was warm and easy and this was perfect.

Best in Town. Teh chapel deliverd everything I wanted...a quickie wedding that didn't have that cheesy Vegas feel. The chapel and the grounds are quaint but at the same time in a very convenient location.

After researching all of the chapels in Las Vegas, we dicided to get married at the Little Chapel of the West, which turned out to be a good choice. While driving down the strip on our way to get our marriage license, I saw some of the other wedding chapels and realized we had made the right decision. The ceremony was simple and sweet and the little chapel was beautiful. The only complaint I have is with the photographer. We got married at 3:30 so when it was time to take our pictures, the sun was setting. So in a few of the pictures, some of our family members are squinting. It must have been obvious to the photographer that the sun was directly in their faces, but he did not take the time or care enough to correct the problem. Which was disappointing. We do; however, have a few good photos and overall are pleased with the service provided by the Little Chapel of the West.

We loved our ceremony at Little Church of the West! Lisa helped us immensely - she found and downloaded the two songs we wanted and went above and beyond out of her way to help me design my bouquet. It's a bit unnerving planning a wedding from out of state but she made me feel comfortable and was really sweet.

My bouquet was absolutely gorgeous! I couldn't believe how beautiful it turned out! We only had a few minor issues-some of which stemmed from misplacing my dad's ashes and being late to walk down the aisle.

The photographers kind of rushed us, but I understand that the weekend we had our wedding was one of the biggest of the year (the day before 10/10/10). I just wish we had a few minutes to gather ourselves as it was a bit of a blur. Surprisingly though, most of the photos were fantastic! I guess they really know what they're doing, even if it felt a little cookie cutter (put your arm there, turn to look at him, etc.).

I didn't LOVE the minister but that's not that important. We had a beautiful service, they comped the webcast, my bouquet was outstanding and NOT cookie-cutter at all, and Lisa really worked hard for us in the months leading up to the ceremony. The chapel is magnificent and felt very genuine old-school Vegas. The wood and the windows were gorgeous and the grounds immaculate.

I would definitely do it all over again, with just a few tweaks :)

The chapel is beautiful as well as the grounds. Also the photographer & preacher did a fantastic job. It was well worth buying the photo package, especially if you are having family and friends join you. Our only complaints were that they didn't tell us to arrive 20 minutes early, which caused our wedding to almost be canceled. We also specifically asked for our ceremony to be done as a first time wedding, although we are already married. We were married several months before our wedding and had planned to keep it secret from our families. We had relayed this information to them several times, each time with them assuring it was no problem. However, when we showed up on our wedding day an office worker gave the secret away in front of my parents. Also, plan ahead for transportation if you have a large wedding party. Some of our guests waited for almost half an hour for a taxi.

Pleased but not Terribly Impressed

We loved getting married at The Little Church of the West, The people there were really nice, The flowers were lovely and fresh the music we chose to play sounded perfect through there system, The ministers words were lovely and the cd of photo's and the dvd were great to watch and show ourr friends and family when we got back to the uk. It all went very smoothly.

These guys totally delivered. They made sure I was completely satisfied and happy. They took care of my flowers and photos and guests without me having to worry. They worked very quickly and with professionalism. If you want to get married in Las Vegas without it being super cheapy looking I'd definitely recommend Little Church of the West...such a great experience!

I have no photos of my wedding except the ones that they took and they wanted me to buy them for over $500.

The chapel was beautiful, the flowers looked great and the ceremony ran very smooth. Our only complaint was with the photography. We purchased the CD after the wedding and were surprised when we got home to look at them cloer. About half of the pictures were out of focus and a little bit fuzzy. For a professional photographer, the bride and groom should have been in focus, not the flowers in the foreground. Over all, we were very happy with the wedding as well as the service. We would hightly recommend this chapel (just be sure a friend is there to take pictures for you during the wedding and outside after the wedding with the family).

The little church of the west was amazing! Our " little wedding" turned into 100 people that came to witness our marriage and they were very accommodating. It was a beautiful quick ceremony, just what we wanted, and everyone there was very friendly. My husband made a big mistake and forgot the marriage license and they reschudled our ceremony an hour later for us while he went to the hotel to get it. We couldn't have asked for more from them and HIGHLY recommend them to anyone!

We looked at several chapels in vegas and decided to choose Little Church of the West.. it fit what we wanted perfectly. We would highly recommend this Chapel for anyone who is getting married or re-newing their vows. The staff is great and the flowers and grounds were beautiful. Our guest, said we picked the perfect chapel, we thought so too. Thank you for everything.

My wife and I couldn't be happier with our experience with Little Church of the West. Everyone there is so professional and nice. If you are looking to get married, we would highly recommend this place. The chapel and grounds are quite pretty and well maintained. Pastor Tim was very nice and made the ceremony very special.

We are from the UK and arranged our ceremony via email. Everything went smoothly on the day and the staff at the Church were very friendly and a pleasure to deal with.
Being a Las Vegas chapel we weren't expecting very much but were very surprised at how beautiful the chapel is and the grounds in which it is set.
For anyone wanting a hassle free day in a beautiful setting in Vegas choose the Little Church of the West.

We really appreciated the "personal touch" in our wedding. Reverend Paul was outstanding! The ceremony was beautiful! The ambiance was exceptional!

The entire experience is something that must be enjoyed by those who desire a GREAT place to get married in Las Vegas.

The reason why Heather and I chose this venue was because of the Chapel's tradition, and it's intimacy.

very impersonal people

This was a great place to get married. We wanted something simple, quick and beautiful and that's exactly what we got!!! This is a beautiful little chapel!!! I loved it!

we had a wonderful day. we had to book and organise the whole thing from overseas and it was a piece of cake, the packages are excellent value for money.
The staff were lovely, the pastor's service was beautiful. the bouquets were gorgeous, with the perfect colour i asked for. even without a rehersal or anything ( we just arrived and got married) everything went smoothly, you dont notice that the chapel is on the side of a main road, there grounds are lovely with plenty of photo opportunities. thank you little chapel of the west

Cute place, reserved just a few days in advance. Only minus was they wanted to charge a LOT for our professional photog to take pics of the ceremony, oh well, we got some outside and on the strip where we wanted anyway.

This place is very cute. It doesn't look like the average Vegas wedding chapel but the actual ceremony is very short (like less than five minutes but it is Vegas).

there were too many weddings book that day so they didint allow us to take pictures after the ceremony and the ceremony it self took 15 minutes to much rush

Our flight was delayed and I had to call and change the time of the wedding 3 times. They were so great about it. We had no problems. The ceremony was lovely. Pastor Peoples was so nice and the vows were just what we wanted to say. There were rose petals on the chapel floor, the organist was wonderful. The pictures came out so nice and when we were pronounced husband and wife they rang the church bells. It was perfect. I could not have asked for better service or a more lovely atmosphere. Memories that I will cherish for a lifetime. We plan on renewing our vows here on our 10th.

This Place is sooo cute and everyone was wonderful!!

This is the complete one-stop shop for pictures, flowers, and ceremony. The staff was professional and helpful. The ceremony was concise and meaningful. The tone of the minister's voice was just right and the vows weren't overdone (neither too informal or too religious). Definitely order the webcam and e-vite your friends/distant family to "attend" the wedding. The resolution isn't the sharpest but it made a difference for all those who couldn't be present in person.

The flowers were expensive and just okay. Also I would have liked a little extra time in the chapel for my own pictures and combination shots, especially since there was no wedding scheduled after mine. But would definitely recommend this free standing chapel with ample parking and beautiful gazebo.

Everything went smooth at the chapel. No extra stress there at all. They had all the flowers I ordered for myself and wedding party when we walked in. We even had and extra person come to attend the wedding and they made sure that everyone had rose. They took tons of pictures and taped the ceremony so that we could have a keep sake dvd. They will also let you buy a cd of all your pictures and will release the copyright so you can make your own prints at home. I really enjoyed going there.

We chose the Little Church of the West because of the website and options. It was more expensive than we wanted to spend, but we only booked a month in advance and we wanted a place that looked reasonably nice. Once there, they move you along very quickly on schedule---we only had about 20 minutes to spend on the entire campus. In fact when we took pictures after the ceremony, they asked us twice to stop and leave as quickly as possible. They took pictures of us after the ceremony, but they were rather rude to our guests who were also trying to take pictures. We never actually received the picture we ordered, which was supposed to show up 6-8 weeks after the ceremony.
That said, the place is fine and the services available were adequate for our needs.

The chapel was beautiful and the people were very nice. The ceremony was EXTREMELY short. We had the chapel reserved for 30 minutes but the actual ceremony was only 5 minutes. No joke, we have a wedding video and it is 5 minutes long. But other than that, it was a good experience.

What a beautiful chapel. It was the perfect place for our Las Vegas wedding! Although there seemed to be a lot of other ceremonies that day, we were treated like ours was the only one. We made the reservation online and everything was just as we ordered it. All of their rates are very reasonable but I found the DVD and photo package pretty expensive. We also never received the 10% military discount we were promised credited back to our card.
Still, I'd do it all again in and instant.
The chapel fit over 50 guests comfortably and everyone commented on how lovely the church was. The minister was fantastic and performed a PERFECT ceremony.
It's the best place for a ceremony in Las Vegas if you want something charming and romantic.

Overall, we had a good experience. It was much nicer than a store front type chapel. The limo was only available for a certain amount of time and we went over. We had to pay 20-30 dollars more for that. They don't allow any time for pictures other than what they take and charge a hefty price for. The pictures were OK.

We lucked out and booked early and when we arrived the picture packages had changed so we got the CD plus copyright release if we didn't want any prints. They charge something like 200.00 for the CD now. If you get one of their picture packages, it's just one favorite shot that you have to pick out while the limo meter is running.

However, this is Vegas and weddings are a business. Get in, get hitched, get out. Even if you brought your own photographer, they might not be very accommodating to one. Take picture at the hotel before or after the ceremony or find a nice outdoor park or area cause you won't get many family shots.

Really cute place, right on the strip, with plenty of room for a smaller group. Also, it’s a historic site, which makes it an even more special place.
 


Our wedding was to the point yet beautiful. The venue was great and done professionally.

I just wish they had made better Video of the reception (we took the video package they have, and it only takes from one angle, so we only see ourselves from a certain distance plus the back of the priest's head). If you can afford it, go with your own professional photographer/videographer.

We went to visit some venues in Vegas. For a small wedding (less than 30 guess), I think their price and service was great and about the best you can get. Their location is also great, tuck away from the crazyness and sometimes not so good looking environment of Vegas (they have their own parking spot and you won't see any garbage or adult billboard anywhere around the area, so you don't have to worry about having them show up anywhere on your wedding picture).

We booked our wedding after looking at many different websites. we wanted to get married in a church, so that my husband's father woudl feel like it was an actul wedding. I ordered my flowers (flame sunset roses) and when I got there I had a room to change in to, and as another bride came out she adjusted my bra strap and wished me luck. Everyone was kind.
the photos were not the best, and the peacher messed up, but otherwise It was a lovey cermony.

We had a great time booking this event. They were very professional, and our pictures came out beautiful. Would definately reccommend this place!

It is a great place to share your experience with your family and friends. We had a great time. It photographs great, and is so romantic. My Great Grandmother and Grandmother were both Married there. So its a special place.

THIS PLACE IS HORRIBLE. We had the worst experience ever. I tell everybody that is going to Vegas to NOT go to this place. Our video is full of static, and our photographer didn't know what she was doing so all of our photos are ruined. This is something that we can never get back! DO NOT DO IT.
