The Makery offers a wide variety of very different cake flavors! The cake is delicious, moist, and great flavor. They offer free tastings on Sundays and you can go as often as you like! They are a little expensive, but well worth it for a great cake! Our cake turned out exactly how we wanted it, except for one thing...the monogram on the top. Our last name begins with "C" and the letter had a hook like thing coming off the top of it in black icing. I was upset because someone clearly thought it looked good when it left the bakery. I feel that it was a simple mistake that very easily could have been wiped off and the icing touched up before the cake was delivered. Other than this, great experience and the rest of our cake was just like we wanted!

Our cake was beautiful and it taste good. My husband loved his groomes cake.

The Makery has amazing flavors to choose from! Every Sunday you are allowed to go in and sample cake in order to find the one(s) you like most. That was our only enjoyable, hard decision! The staff at The Makery were very great and intelligent. We truly admired the dasmak design with hot pink and black, and the cake turned out better than we could have ever expected. The look and better yet the taste was amazing. Every guest was asking for seconds! We also enjoy that they will give you a anniversay cake on you one year and they also give you a sweetheart cake the night of your wedding because they understand how busy the bride and groom are that night, that we do not get the chance to eat much of our cake. Thank you to the staff at The Makery for making sure a memorable cake.

Highly recommend. I brought in my ideas, the cake designer sketched it out and incorporated each feature. The pricing was very competitive (we checked out 3 other bakeries in the greater Denver area), and found that The Makery offered the best cake variety, the best tasting frostings, the most flexibility to create my ideal cake, and the best overall value. The Makery has an impressive and super helpful website. They also do free tastings every Sunday which was great. Their cake is very delicious. However, we were just not all that satisfied with what we got from them. We did a mini-football helmet, which we had seen photos of on their website. We ended up paying more than their site indicated and it was small and out of proportion. The screen print they put on the side for the logo also did not look that great. They charged us a ton to match the gold color of the helmet, which they did do.

AMAZING...so sweet and attentive, made sure we got the cake of our dreams...and oh yea, it was moist delicious and EVERYONE raved about it!!! Thank you!!

My cake was PERFECT. The Makery did a wonderful job! They made suggestions on the design that fit perfectly with my taste, arrived right on time, and the cake was amazing. All my guests raved about how delicious the cake was! I also love the way they do the sweetheart cake and the anniversary cake. They make you a sweetheart cake in case you don't get some of the real cake at the wedding, and then you can just call at your one year anniversary to have your anniversary cake made... it's so easy!The value was also incredible! For the job they did, I would have paid double!

We went to so many bakery's to taste the perfect wedding cake. It was hard because they are all so yummy! The Makery had outstanding service. It was a little pricy, but they had such wonderful service we decided to go with them. I would recommed the Makery. I can't wait for my 1st anniversary, they will make aus a free 6" cake.

We went in for a tasting at The Makery. The cake is some of the yummiest I've ever tasted. So moist & full of flavor! They also had really unique flavors; like pistachio & pink champagne cake. They have a huge portfolio full of gorgeous cakes they have made in the past. We have decided to have our wedding in Malibu, so we won't be using them for the wedding, but I will definitely go back to purchase birthday cakes from them!

The cake flavor was delicious and the fact that they can provide gluten free selections was equally important. They also did work with us on making a very original groom's cake and that also came out beautifully. My only complaint would be in the presentation of the cake. I had bought a cake plateau for the cake to be placed on and since I knew the cake would come to the venue on a cake board I went to great lengths to discuss with them about making sure the cake board was smaller than my cake plateau. I was told no problem...the cake would be 10" the board would be 12" and my plateau was 14"... perfect! When we arrived to see the cake at the venue the cake board was hanging over the edge of the cake plateau a good 2 inches on all sides. So much for presentation, it looked stupid but it was too late to do anything about it. My advice make very sure you get the details worked out...oh yea..I thought I had.

The cake was delicious, unlike some wedding cakes, and they had many different flavors available for tasting before ordering (all delicious!) They were also extremely flexible with design changes up to a week before the date, and allowed us to come in multiple times to make our decisions. I would recommend them again and again!

We adore the Makery! Our cake was a work of art and was well photographed at the wedding. There was not a single slice leftover because it was such a hit (I didn't even get any!). I work for a wedding planner and I have seen and tasted a lot of wedding cakes. The Makery is the best value around and Desiree is a very talented sugar artist. She worked with us get exactly what we wanted even though some details were not on the options list. Thanks Desiree!!! Working with Desiree and her team is a dream initself! The cakes that our bride's have enjoyed are elegant, over the top, creative and whimical and not one design have we brought their way was ever NOT created!
