The Manor House at Commonwealth

From the time I met with Cristy at the Manor House I knew this is where our wedding would be. I fell in love with the venue immediately. Cristy was so easy to work with and always responded to my questions really quickly. On the day of our wedding, everything exceeded our expectations, by far! The service was impeccable. Richard, Julie and Sang were truly amazing from the moment we walked in the door. Everytime we turned around they were there calming my nerves, refilling our drinks and asking if there was anything else that we needed. Our family and friends have not stopped raving about the food, drinks, venue and service. Our wedding was more beautiful and elegant than we could have imagined and we could not be happier that we chose the Manor House. I can't thank Cristy enough for all of her assistance in planning our wedding. It really was an amazing day and I would recommend the Manor House to anyone!

There are not enough words to descibe the perfection of the Manor House as our wedding venue. From the staff, grounds, food, etc, everything was nothing but the highest quality. Jenn, our wedding coordinator on site, was wonderful from day one. She was patient, flexible, easy to work with, and made all the special touches of our day go off without a hitch. Richard and his wait staff provided the best level of service of any place I have ever been. And the FOOD...the guests ALL raved about EVERY course from the hand passed hor d'ouerves to the dessert station and crepe bar. We can't thank the Manor House enough for making our wedding the most happy and memorable day of our lives! HIGHLY recommended to any couple looking for a place for their special day!

I can't put into words how amazing the Manor House was during the planning and actual wedding reception. Cristy is one of a kind. She is very professional, extremely helpful and pulled together my dream wedding. The staff at the Manor House was unbelievable. The Manor House at Commonwealth was picture perfect for our wedding reception. Everyone there was very nice and helpful. We still have guests telling us how much they loved our reception, how great everything looked, how amazing the food was. The staff was extremely attentive and I knew I had nothing to worry about. After meeting with Cristy I left and knew that I had found my venue. My husband came to look at it later and when he left he said the same thing, that there was no need to look anywhere else. I wish I could go back and have all the food again because it was sooooo good! I am so happy that The Manor House at Commonweatlh was our venue and would recommend it to anyone!

The staff at Manor House was amazing! Christy made me feel not stressed and that everything would work out. Our ceremony and reception was set according to what we discussed. When I first arrived my breath was taken away. We did not need to ask for anything, they knew what we needed and just did it. They went as far to ensure that we sat and ate! The place was beyond anything that I could have imagined! I'm hoping to have children that will get married here! Thank you for making our day special and one we will never forget!

AMAZING. All the guests raved about the food and service. I couldn\'t be happier. We went with the filet and crab cake. The best meal I\'ve ever had. We also liked that the place is quaint and has lots of character. Jenn, the wedding coordinator, and the rest of the staff take care of everything to ensure your wedding day is perfect. I was supposed to get married in the courtyard outside but 15 minutes before the ceremony it started pouring. No problem! -- the staff worked together to move everything onto the covered terrace. We had a large wedding party to keep track of during our rain delay and Jenn was able to coordinate everything. Throughout the planning process, Jenn was extremely responsive to all my emails, and there were many! Love everything about the Manor House!

Our wedding at the Manor House was amazing! We honestly cant say enough to describe how great everything went. Throughout the whole process, Cristy was always there to help. Whenever I had a question, I emailed her and she responded right away. She knew about everything and always had a smile on when we met with her. It was great! On the day of the wedding, the weather was very iffy, Cristy assured me that they have great rador (being on a golf course) and would be able to check the weather's path. As it was down pouring in the morning I thought for sure we would have to be under the veranda (an option that would have been beautiful as well!) But when I walked into the Manor House, Cristy said they set up both outside and under the veranda! I was so happy because the clouds went away by the time of the wedding and we were able to stay on their outside area, and the staff picked up the other chairs without any one knowing. During the reception the entire staff was so attentive! We couldn't believe it! Richard was there to assit in anything we needed and our personal waitress Kelly was fantastic! She even got me a block of ice wrapped in a napkin for me too cool down after dancing too much!! There was no time I had to go to the bar to get a drink because they made sure my glass was never empty :) We brought in a lot of our decorations including the center pieces and I NEVER had to worry about collecting our items because they got them all and put them in our families car, not once bothering us to ask where things go! We can't say enough about this place. We still have guests telling us how great everything was, the food, the staff, the drinks, the venue. I never had to worry about a thing! I would recommend that every bride take a look at The Manor House at Commonwealth. On my first visit, I fell in love with the venue's old world charm and beauty. The room is far beyond a boring old country club room. The service was also amazing. Cristy is sweet and professional. I felt comforted knowing that when I arrived at the venue on the day of my wedding that Cristy had everything completely under control! Mike and Kelly were the personal wait staff for my family and the family of my fiancé. Both brought food and drinks to us all evening. Mike kept my food warm when I got to talking to guests and could not eat my dinner and he wrapped my wedding cake up when I was too full to eat it! All of our guests raved about the service. The banquet managers Richard and Sang should also be given props from their management of the kitchen, their quick thinking when my bustle on my dress broke and to loading my parent's car at the end of the night! I loved having my reception at The Manor House at Commonwealth!!

"Service beyond compare," is the best way to describe my experience at The Manor House. The entire team worked tirelessly to ensure the my wedding day was that of a fairytale. Christy Peltzer was an absolute sweetheart to work with, not only did she have great ideas, tips, and tricks, but she was always eager to make my ideas a reality! Richard Portney was my event manager on the big day, I could not have asked for a more accommodating, detail oriented, thorough, professional to handle all the details of our reception. The Manor House at Commonwealth is an AMAZING venue! Manor House is not only beautiful but unique. The wrap around veranda was loved by all of our guests. Some of our guests who tend to not stay late into the night at weddings loved sitting on the veranda so much they stayed until the very end! My guests have not stopped raving saying our reception at The Manor House was the best wedding they have ever been to. The food was fantastic and the dinner portions were huge! Cristy, Richard and the rest of the staff were so professional and a pleasure to work with. Everything was top notch!

Our wedding at the Manor House at Commonwealth was everything we could have imagined it to be and more! From the initial planning phases to the wedding itself, we were thoroughly impressed. Jennifer Monastero helped us coordinate every detail and answered every question we had quickly and with care. At our 2-day out meeting, we met with the rest of the staff (Julie, Richard and Sang) and felt very comfortable and confident in their abilities. The day was perfect. Guests raved about the food, and we also were able to say that the food was delicious (because we were quietly reminded to eat by the MH staff)! We were particularly pleased when we arrived at the Manor House and there were hor d'oeuvres and drinks waiting for us in the bridal suite. We were famished and it was as if the staff had read our minds. Julie was very attentive throughout the evening, keeping us aware of upcoming events (i.e. cake, garter, etc). Everything was delicious, and the dessert trio was incredible. At the end of the night the whole staff helped clean everything up and load it into predetermined cars (we weren’t even aware that the clean-up was happening).

Overall, it was a perfect day and we cannot thank the Manor House enough for all of their help. Jennifer was truly a pleasure to work with and she made us feel as if we were her only bride and groom that she was working with. She even missed a personal event so to be there to receive us at the Manor House as we were running later than anticipated. Her care and expertise are something that helped us throughout the entire process. It was a wonderful experience overall and we definitely recommend the Manor House to any couple looking for the perfect location for their...

We are still coming down from the unbelievable high we experienced this weekend!! Simply stated...Manor House is TOP NOTCH! I could not have imagined things coming together more beautifully than they did. From the moment we walked in the door for our first meeting and met Jenn, I knew Manor House was the place for our wedding...I just needed to convince the others...trust me, it didn't take much. Jenn, "handled" me perfectly for the past 9 months. All of my questions (there were many) and requests were answered quickly and professionally. Every time we left a meeting, Mike and I looked at each other and said, we SO picked the right place! One of the best parts was attending another wedding at Manor House in October....the entire night Mike and I kept looking around from our guests point of view. We were SO thrilled with the service as a guest, little did we realize we would feel like royalty on our day! I still can't believe the way Jenn, Richard and Sang took the many boxes of "stuff" we brought over on July 5th and created something that went beyond what I had ever envisioned. They calmed my frazzled nerves about the sun invading our ceremony and helped set up the most beautiful location for us to exchange our vows. Richard and Jenn even helped wipe my tears of joy when I was about to walk down the aisle. (Yes, I am crying again as I write this!) How cute were Mike and Amie?! They greeted us as we escaped after our ceremony. They were so bubbly and enthusiastic. You would never know they do this every weekend. At one point, Mike's button came off his tux. Amie was ready to go sew the button back on for him. (He was telling everyone about this the next day!) I still can't get over the way everything was loaded into cars at the end of the night and we didn't have to think about a thing. AND THAT POPCORN BAR...I still can't get over how ADORABLE that was!! You took one little idea and made it even cuter than the PINTEREST picture! As you can see, I could go on ALL day! In short, thank you to Manor House for creating the night of our dreams!! We could not have asked for a better, sweeter, classier crew!!

Is there a way to provide more than five stars? From the moment Tom and I walked into the Manor House we knew it was "the place." You would be hard pressed to find a more beautiful or romantic setting. It would be impossible to find a better staff! Cristy was our planner and she is amazing! Friendly, knowledgeable, sweet and patient! She ALWAYS responded to questions within 24 hours with an email or phone call and treated every detail of our wedding like it was the best idea ever! From planning to the day of, Cristy had everything organized down to the smallest detail. She also put us in the capable hands of Richard, the Manor House's banquet manager, who goes down in our book as the calmest wedding professional ever. Our guests are still raving over the service, grounds, and THE FOOD! Everyone loved it. As a matter of fact, a number of our friends and family wish there was another wedding to plan so they could have their event at the Manor House! Thank you to Cristy, Richard and the entire staff for making me feel like a princess on my special day!

The folks at the Manor House are absolutely fabulous. Jenn was a joy to work with. She was so organized and helpful and just put us completely at ease. She went out of her way to ensure everything went smoothly. We didnt have a planner and we didnt need one. She helped coordinate the day of with all of our vendors. Richard was also incredibly helpful in making sure the evening went well. We didtn have to worry about a thing and could just enjoy ourselves. All of the staff and servers are very polished and professional.

The house and grounds are lovely. The food was very good. We've received many comments about how delicious everything was. Thanks very much to Jenn and the staff there for making our wedding such a wonderful day to remember.

We had our reception at The Manor House and it was incredible. From the moment we arrived, until the time we left everything went beautifully thanks to all the staff. Our guests loved the venue; they raved over the all of the food, especially the desert display enhancement we chose. We really wanted our wedding to feel like a small, private event and The Manor House definitely gave us this feeling. I can not express in words how wonderful our wedding was due to the venue we chose.

We had our wedding at the Manor House on 11-11-11. Our guests were blown away by the beautiful venue, top-notch service, and delicious food. Our wedding coordinator, Jenn Monastero, was an absolute gem to work with. She truly took all the worry out of the planning and experience for us, allowing my husband and I to enjoy the day! We got married on site, outside in the beautiful garden area overlooking the pond (on a cold day in November!!) and everything was just perfect (even though we were a little nuts to be outside! It was like 35 degrees! I was just SO set on it!). I would recommend this venue to anyone...it was fantastic.

We had our ceremony and reception at the Manor House and it was wonderful! We worked with Jenn, who was amazing, so fun and responsive to work with! Throughout the whole process, she was a great resource for other vendors and little details. The Manor House staff was amazing at making sure the wedding went off withuot a hitch, they coordinated everything, I never knew if anything went wrong! The food was delicious, we had guests who told us the crabcake and filet was the best they ever had. They took care of the cleanup so that we didn't have to do anything at the end of the night, including loading my dad's car later in the evening. Our wedding was such a great experience, I highly recommend the Manor House!

I had my wedding at the Manor House on 10/9/11, and it was, in a word, phenomenal. The food was incredible (seriously, it's as good as a four-star restaurant--try the crab cakes), the service was attentive and top notch, and the setting was beautiful. I love the mix of historic home (the building dates to the early 1700s) and modern amenities and ballroom. When we were searching for a venue, we wanted a place that had a lovely outdoor space to have our ceremony--and a good rain plan if necessary. We were fortunate to have a (hot!) sunny day, but Manor House not only has a great plan B, it also has a good plan C. I loved the separate room for the cocktail hour and the spacious veranda overlooking the golf course, plus the living room and foyer from the old building make it distinct and homey. The prices are very reasonable since food (including cake), service, linens, and open bar are included. My on-site coordinator, Cristy, is a total sweetheart and very helpful and accommodating. She never made me feel like a crazy bride with all my questions, and she responded promptly to my requests. She really knows her stuff, and she's soothing to boot. Overall, my experience with the Manor House was pretty much perfect. All my guests raved about our wedding, even the ones who are not typically effusive in their praise. I know I'm biased, but it was definitely the best wedding I've ever been to. :)

We had both the ceremony and reception at Manor House. Our wedding day was perfect! All of the employees at Manor House were very helpful and attentive on the day of. The Manor House was the first wedding venue I looked at after I got engaged, and I was a smitten kitten after seeing it in person. Both my now husband and mother were completely sold at first glance. After finishing up the remainder of our appointments that day, we immediately booked our wedding for July 9th (also my birthday!). Jenn was fabulous and responsive throughout the whole planning process, especially knowing that we would be having an exceptionally large wedding party (22 total!) Our wedding day arrived with picture perfect weather which enabled us to have our ceremony outside among the beautiful gardens. The Manor House was every bit the type of venue I had envisioned in my head, with it's elegant vintage vibe that worked perfectly with my decor. Additionally, the food was insane! I highly recommend the filet and crab cakes, and all of our guests raved about the mini cheesesteak appetizers. The Manor House exceeded my expectations and put together an unforgettable wedding experience. I will absolutely be recommending this stunning venue to friends and family!

As soon as we got engaged my husband and I created a list of what we wanted in a venue. It seemed unlikely that we would find one fit our lengthy requirements. We needed a place for a beautiful outdoor ceremony, but also an equally beautiful Plan B for bad weather. We wanted a large venue that still felt personal, with separate rooms for a top shelf cocktail hour, a loud and exciting reception, and also quiet conversations. We hoped for a place with private grounds, a wedding consultant, delicious food, stunning décor, signature cocktails, and an overall elegant feel. As soon as we visited Manor House at Commonwealth we knew that it was perfect for us.

Throughout the entire planning process, our wedding coordinator, Jenn, was amazing. I truly cannot imagine what this process would have looked like without her expert advice, answers, and assistance. She was so patient with my (constant) concerns and enthusiastic for my plans. On the day of my wedding an entire team worked to make sure that everything went smoothly, and although I was devastated that it rained, the staff created the most stunning indoor ceremony space. Our guests raved about the endless hors d’oeuvres, the top-shelf open bar, and the four course sit-down dinner. We were told on multiple occasions that it was the best food they’ve ever had at a wedding. The servers were so attentive and professional, and having parking valets made our guests feel important from beginning to end. I was so disappointed to see the night end – I wish I could marry my husband at Manor House over and over again!

"AMAZING" was the word I heard over and over again from the guests at my wedding. From the location to the food to the service- everything was truly amazing. I am the type of person that stresses about everything but I can honestly say I was not worried about anything the day of my wedding- Jenn and the Manor House staff took care of everything perfectly. I was able to enjoy my night celebrating while they "worried" about the details for me. Any time that I contacted Jenn, I got a response very quickly- even when Jenn was at home injured, she got back to me within the day! I would recommend this site to any of my friends and family looking for a reception location- I would LOVE to go back and enjoy the Manor House again!

I don't generally write reviews but my husband and I were so happy with Commonwealth that we wanted to let others know how pleased we were with their services.

First of all, the food is amazing (and I'm not just using this term loosely). It is seriously the best wedding food we've ever had, and we received similar compliments like this from our guests. Initially, we were disappointed to learn that we could not sample the food until after we signed a contract, but it did not matter. The food is definitely on par with some of the finer restaurants in the Philly area. Also, the overall value was THE best that we found. It was extremely convenient to have the price of the liquor and cake already included in the pricing. The cake was also on par with the food quality.

We had our wedding outdoors and the space is wonderful for this. I was initially hesitant to have the wedding at a golf course but in the end I loved the combination of the old, rustic home and the beautiful landscaping and reception areas.

Finally, the service is excellent. We loved our wedding coordinator, Christy. She is extremely warm, laid back, easy to communicate with and prompt to answer any questions we had. Overall, the staff were very accommodating and pleasant to work with.

We have recommended Commonwealth to some of friends and would absolutely recommend it to others looking for a unique space with excellent food and service for a good value.

When we began to loook for our wedding we knew there were a few things we definately wanted. First we wanted the ceremony and reception to be at the same place, we wanted fun station food, and we were looking for somewhere different, not your typical country club. The Manor House had it all! From our first meeting with Jenn we knew we wanted to get married here. Let me say Jenn was awesome to work with! I never worried about anything and every email and phone call was promptly repsonded too. On the day of the wedding everything was taken care of. I know so many brides that stress the whole day of their wedding hoping everything works out perfect and I didn't stress at all, Jenn and the Manor House made sure everything was great. The food was PHENOMENAL! From the Mac and Cheese Station to the Frech Fry Bar at the end of the night, evertyhing was so yummy. Also the grounds here are gorgeous and our outside wedding was perfect. We are still getting phone calls about our wedding and how much fun the night was. I will always recommend the Manor House and their great staff.

We chose the Manor House as our reception venue because we were looking for a place that would offer full service accommodations, and the Manor House did even more. Jen our wedding planner helped work with our budget and helped us achieve everything we could possible want extra! The venue and grounds are amazing and so well maintained with elegance. We especially wanted a venue where our wedding was the only one and it made our guests enjoy the personal feel. Along with table settings, linens, valet and having our CAKE included in our price range, Jen and Sang were very helpful with the other vendors I had brought in such as a photobooth and arranging and assembly a candy buffet i designed. They are extremely accommodating and were able to fix a blunder of my own of FORGETTING a family table. They said don't worry, give us 10 minutes...and no one knew!! I receive so many complements on the Manor House and will continue to recommend them to future brides!

I looked EVERYWHERE for a venue-- I was doing everything in my power to be the best steward of my parents' money (who were paying for the wedding) that I possibly could.

The Manor House is by far the most beautiful of any of the venues I saw. The space that you receive for your day is HUGE and AMAZING. The view of the golf course alone is spectacular. But the ballroom has huge windows and a deck that really just keep the room rich and vibrant. My favorite part of all of it was the sitting rooms, though, that you can decorate with family photos. That is such a sweet, amazing little touch.

The food is FANTASTIC. We had a sundae bar-- best decision EVER. People were raving.

The service was unbelieable. We had several guests with food allergies and they were accomodated like no other. The servers were fantastic. So sweet, so helpful.

I cannot even BEGIN to say how lovely Cristy is-- and all of her team. She really is such a doll. My husband and I talk about how we probably could have been persuaded by any venue that had Cristie there--- but the Manor House was BY FAR the best value for the money that there is out there.

My other vendors were so excited to hear that the reception was at the Manor House. I think that speaks volumes.

I worked with both Jenn and Sam at the Manor House. They were both wonderful!!! We had so many compliments on everything - the food, service and staff. They did everything for us - we didn't worry about a thing!

My husband and I had our ceremony and reception at the Manor House this past October. We were so impressed with the everything they had to offer. Cristy, our Banquet Manager, was a complete joy to work with. Her flexibility and responsivness were extaordinary, and made my wedding planning so stress free. Everyone there is so accomodating and eager to make your special day perfect. They take the time to understand your vision and needs throughout the process, and really exceed them. The food was phenomenal, and I still have guests talking about it! The quality and selection of food was really awesome. The servers are so pleasant, and all of the staff members really have their act together, and make the day run so smoothly. I highly recommend this venue and would give it beyond the 5 star limit.

From the second I walked into the Manor House at Commonwealth and met with Jenn my husband and I knew this was the place we had to have our wedding. They were so accomodating to our every need, not just on the day of our wedding but for the entire year and a half leading up to our wedding.
The food was out of this world and the portions are huge. Our uncle is a trained professional chef and he even went back into the kitchen during the weddin to thank the chef for the excellent food.
A big part of the reason we picked Manor House is because of Jenn, she always made us feel that we were the only wedding she was working on and I knew she had everything under control which left me stress free on the wedding day.
We had guests from all over the world attend our wedding and all of them agreed it was a fairytale wedding and that is due to the wonderful staff at the Manor House.

I can't say enough about the staff at the Manor. From day 1, the entire staff exemplified professionalism, and did everything possible to make the day run smoothly. Their wedding professional, Jenn, was a joy to work with. On my wedding day, I was assigned a personal server, who actually followed me over the course of the evening, and waited on me alone! The Manor was extremely accomodating of decorations and our schedule, and everyone projected a sense that my wedding was the most important event they were working on. Highly recommended to any bride in the Bucks/Montco area.

We are so happy that we chose the Manor House for our wedding reception. We just had our reception there last month (April 2010) and we could not have been happier how everything turned out. Jen O our wedding planner through the Manor House was amazing. She was so nice, helpful and pleasant to work with throughout the entire process. She made us feel very comfortable that everything would run smoothly - and it did! The food was amazing and we got tons of compliments on every course we served. The little cheesesteak appetizers were especially a big hit! If nothing else, the place is GORGEOUS! It just has such an intimate feel to it and the charm of the place really comes through in all of our wedding photos. My husband and I would overwhelmingly recommend the Manor House - it was probably the best choice we made in looking back at the whole process!!!

When I was doing a search for a venue online, I came upon the Manor House. After I went to visit it, I knew that it was THE one. Everything was so easy to set-up, the communication was great and on the day of, everything was perfect! The guests could not stop raving about the venue and the food and butlered hors d'ouerves were amazing! They have an outdoor veranda where the cocktail hour is on and great for photo-ops. The entire staff was very attentive to all of our guests, not just us. I can't say enough praises about the Manor House and wish to have more parties and get togethers there in the future!

I absolutely LOVED LOVED The Manor House!!! Right from the beginning Cristy was wonderful. I felt that no question was too silly. It was a most magnificient setting for our fall wedding. The FOOD was outstanding!! Our guests are still raving about the food!!! YUM best crab cakes I've had!!!!

Wow! Wow! Wow!! What an amazing team of staff to help make our wedding everything we wanted it to be! The entire staff at Manor House catered to our every whim and they made sure the guests were well attended to at all times. Specifically we had a great experience working with Jenn O'Neill. From the very start of our planning up to the wedding day she was attentive, polite, enthusiastic, flexible...she made the day run smoothly and made sure I felt like I had nothing to worry about. And it goes without saying the grounds and the location are just perfect! Very photo-friendly environment! My husband and I would recommend this venue to anyone thinking about the Manor House for their event.

Everything about the Manor House was fantastic. Many of our guests remarked to us that the food was "not just good for wedding food, but really good food." All of the hors dourves were a big hit and the entrees were fabulous. They easily accomodated a few special requests from our guests when necessary. We didn't anticipate that we would receive so many compliments about the quality of the table service.

The grounds and the building are very unique, and well suited for a variety of guests. Many people enjoyed the veranda while others took advantage of the living room where they could have a quieter atmosphere but still feel they were part of the party. Our photographer was able to take advantage of the beautiful grounds outside and some of the historical features of the mansion.

Cristy Peltzer, who served as our coordinator, was excellent. She responded promptly to calls and emails, and she made us feel very much at ease that everything would go smoothly the day of our wedding.

I would highly recommend this venue to anyone getting married.

The Manor House at Commonwealth was a wonderful place to have our wedding. The rooms and grounds are just so incredibly beautiful, and homey at the same time. All of our guests raved at how beautiful the Manor House is. The service is top rate, we visit Walt Disney World alot and we felt that we were there again. They provided the ultimate in service, your every need is anticipated and taken care of. The food was excellent, not like at a normal wedding, it was as if you went out to one of the top restaurants to eat. The appetizers and pasta station were amazing! The wedding consultant assigned to us was Christy and throughout the process of working with her she was just so intuned to our vision and our needs.

There is nothing else to say about The Manor House and Jenn O'Neill other than AMAZING! We were in awe the entire night. They are so attentive to every guest in the room. We had our own attendant the entire night. My husband and I are still talking about the how wonderful the food and the service was. Guests are still raving about out great the night was, and many said it was the nicest wedding they had been to. I will always recommend The Manor House to every bride I ever meet. This group really knows what they are doing. Start to finish everything was perfect!

We had the greatest wedding ceremony and reception at the Manor House. Jen was amazing to work with, she answered all of email questions and phone calls promptly! She made me feel so stress-free on the big day! Our wedding was on a perfect sunny, summer day! The grounds are gorgeous and our pictures turned out awesome!!! We were so happy that we chose Commonwealth Manor for our big day! xo

As soon as I visited The Manor House, I knew that it was the perfect place for our wedding reception. The house and grounds are absolutely beautiful and so charming. The coordinator we worked with, Jenn, was incredibly friendly and helpful from beginning to end. And the staff was so attentive and professional on the big day. Our guests can't stop raving about the food, ambience, and service. The food is the most delicious food I've ever had at a wedding! It can be difficult to eat a full dinner when you are the bride and groom, in the midst of all of the excitement; but my husband and I made a promise to ourselves that we would, because the food is just that good (it didn't disappoint)! I'm so glad we chose The Manor House for our reception - it truly made the night.

The Manor House was the perfect location for our wedding. The wedding coordinator there was so amazing. She was constantly catering to our needs and making our wedding the most perfect day in our lives. We would highly recommend this location to anyone looking to have a unique and elegant wedding.

Christy and Amy were wonderful, and they have a great staff. Everyone at our wedding had nothing but great things to say about The Manor House. There was a hurricane during our ceremony & reception. We had planned for an outdoor ceremony in their beautiful gardens, but the indoor ceremony was just as nice as I could have ever imagined. And with the covered veranda, we were still able to get some wonderful photos outside too. Cocktail hour was great and our guests loved the Martini bar and hors d'oeuvres - I enjoyed them too! My husband and I even had our own Host/Server that got us drinks & hors d'oeuvres! And of course, during the reception, we lost power in the entire building for nearly an hour. Amy kept us up-to-date on everything they were doing to get us power. We ate dinner by candlelight (incredibly romantic for a wedding), but what was more impressive was that the chef and staff in the kitchen were plating dinner by candlelight, and they didn't miss a beat! The food was fantastic. And of course, dessert was incredible - though I didn't get to enjoy the Coffee bar, I was afraid to spill on my dress! I would highly recommend The Manor House and their staff for your wedding Ceremony or Reception.

We used Commonwealth for our wedding reception. Cristy was our wedding coordinator and we couldn't have asked for a more professional, knowledgeable person! She was just wonderful. Commonwealth is beautiful! As soon as you pull up to the Manor it's unbelievable. Then you go inside and there's a beautiful staircase (I'm sad I don't have any pictures on it thought :() and then the ballroom is just perfect. The grounds are so lovely, we have so many great pictures outside. We had cocktail hour on the outside porch and in the cocktail room. The food at cocktail hr and during dinner was amazing, we got so many compliments. The dance floor is big enough to accommodate a lot of guests. (our DJ Richie from Cutting Edge Entertainment had it packed all night!) Cristy made sure that everything we wanted was there and in the right places. She helped make our night absolutely perfect and we didn't have to worry about anything at the venue, it was all taken care of and looked fantastic!

Everything was absolutely perfect and more than we expected. Extremely helpful, friendly staff. Very accomodating and flexible. Venue was beautiful and had great atmosphere and had great quality products, food, and staff. Had great ambiance! We couldn't have asked or imagined anything better.

My husband and I highly recommend the Manor House. I was so impressed by their service. I had a personal assistant the whole night. The grounds are amazing. My quests raved about the food! They made you feel like a king and queen. They took care of so many details. It was a magical night.

I booked this venue because a few of my friends got married there a few years prior. It was pretty good, nothing like I remembered though. I was overall disappointed. My parents didn't get any hor's douerves or wedding cake nor did my sister. My parents should have been their number one priority. They also sent my wedding planner home! I had even paid for a dinner for her. Not happy at all. For those reasons, I do not recommend this place anymore. Food was great Staff service was great during the actual sit down, but the lacked big time at cocktail hour. Bartenders, great! If you want good food and a good sit down, then by all means go for it.

The Manor House at Commonwealth is an excellent venue with a dedicated staff! Cristy and Jen are wonderful to work with, the venue is absolutely beautiful, food fabulous and dedication to your Wedding is of utmost importance there!

By far one of our favorite places to photograph a wedding. The Manor House has unique charm that definately stands out. The food and the service are incredible!!! Make sure you consider Commonwealth as one of your stops when searching for a venue.
