When we first booked the mansion, Meredith helped us through the entire process to make sure it was all correct. Shortly after, Meredith left, but Abby took over without hesitation and was wonderful throughout the entire thing. Debbie Donovan was always responsive and helped answer any questions we had when no one else knew the answers.
On our wedding day, Debbie made sure to check on us periodically throughout the night to make sure we were okay and didn't need anything. Ingrid, our bridal attendant, was impeccable! She helped carry my dress and my bouquet and got everyone where they needed to be! The waitstaff was incredible and made sure we all were happy with everything that was served! I would definitely recommend this venue to ANYONE!
We had our ceremony outside that was flawless and the reception was...

I can't say enough positive remarks about the venue. Debbie and her staff exceeded all expectations. Abby did a great job of capturing everything we wanted. The food was out of this world! Ingrid and Ricky helped to make sure we had the wedding we have always wanted. The mansion was beautifully lit up and so clean. It was perfect!

Our wedding was perfect from begin to end. We had both the ceremony and reception at the mansion, and it went exactly as I had planned. Debbie, Abby, and the rest of the Mansion staff were fantastic and made our day so special. Everything from the price, to the food, to the service, was great. I would highly recommend this venue to anyone getting married in the area. Not only is it a gorgeous site, but the staff are so professional that your day will be phenomenal!

We were able to pull off the perfect winter wonderland wedding at the Mansion. The space is beautiful and held our 150 guests with ease.
Although it was occasionally difficult to reach someone by phone, I always received a response to my emails. Deb Donovan was very attentive and made sure we were completely taken care of, both prior to and during the wedding.
There was a slight hitch with the filet being underdone, but Deb swooped in and had the issue corrected ASAP, and provided anyone who wanted it with a new filet. Their crabcakes are phenomenal. One word of caution if you are a red wine lover- the venue does not allow red wines due to the antique furnishings in the mansion.
We had some slight miscommunication with our coordinator, Abby, regarding the time of the rehearsal, which made the evening a bit stressful, but everything worked out fine in the end.
The attendants during the ceremony and reception made sure my every need was taken care of. I never had to look far to find someone if I needed something, and they ensured that the evening flowed properly.
One thing I would note is that the venue does not do a sit-down tasting session of all their menu items. They hold cocktail events throughout the year which allow for a sampling of some of the choices.
All in all, though there were some minor issues as mentioned above, the venue worked out to be just what I wanted. I am still being complimented by friends and family on how beautiful everything was and how much they enjoyed the evening. It's also a great place to get lots of really...

Overall our wedding reception went very nicely. Everyone commented on how great the food was and how amazing the mansion looked. Everyone at the mansion was very friendly leading up to the event as well as at the actual event. Our biggest issue was that getting a hold of someone while we were in the planning stages wasn't always the easiest. It sometimes took a couple messages for a returned call simply because our wedding was far enough out that we weren't on the top of the priority list, which is somewhat understandable. This venue was certainly a hot commodity and was hard to come by for a date in the fall time booking one year out. Myself, my Mom, and Mother-in-law all received a set of pearl bracelets from Smyth Jewelers which I thought was incredibly nice. My husband and I also received an expensive crystal dish for our engagement upon booking our venue there as well. Our only issue on the wedding day itself was that my sister had an appointment to deliver our wedding cake, but when she arrived no one was there to let her in. Apparently the girl who originally placed it on the books was let go around the same time and I guess the right people weren't notified to be there. Luckily she was able to talk to someone living on the premises that called the operator to have someone come let her in. We also thought the slices of our wedding cake handed out were a bit too small. We actually had more than half of our cake leftover and what was served seemed like it was only 3-4 bites. No one complained about it, it was just something we noticed.

I cannot say enough about Debbie and her staff at the mansion! They made all of my dreams of the perfect reception come true!!! With Debbie and her staff you are not just another customer they treat you like long time friends! From the first time we met with them we felt comfortable and stress free with the reception planning! The quality service they provide is beyond words, from the moment the guests entered the mansion for our reception they were treated like royalty, if a server saw you were without a drink they would go to the bar and get something for you. The dinner was to die for (we had crab cakes/filet mignon). The mansion has such a classy feeling, but at the same time allows your guest to relax and enjoy themselves. We had so many people tell us the night of our wedding and many times since that this was the best reception they have ever been too. My husband and I are forever grateful to Debbie and her staff!

If you are looking for a gorgeous, intimate, classy setting for a wedding reception, please look no further than The Mansion @ Valley Country Club in Towson, MD!! It started for us when we visited the owner, Debbie Donovan, for our initial consultation at the Mansion. From the start, we were treated with such respect and such an open dialogue with Debbie and her team. The facilities include beautiful grounds (We got the best pictures here!!), classy decor, an amazing bar, and such a feeling of warmth. We had a Greek band and a DJ and still plenty of room for dancing. We had a Greek/Italian wedding, so our guests love good food and a lot of it. (We went with the Filet and Crab Cakes which were AMAZING!!) The cocktail hour was awesome and our guests raved about how attentive the service was and how happy they were. The reception was perfect, which is no surprise seeing how attentive and professional Debbie's staff was. We did not want to have to worry about anything, and Debbie eased our minds. She must have come to us, personally, at least 10 times to see if we needed anything. In addition, everything is run so smoothly from the introduction, to speeches, to dinner service, and cake cutting. We never felt rushed or that things were dragging on. Our guests all felt the same way too. As many couples will see or have seen, prices for weddings are very high, especially when you go into the city or at big hotels. Not only was the Mansion extremely affordable, but we came in under our initial budget which helped us out so much. Overall, this was the absolute PERFECT venue for our wedding reception!! We could not have asked for one thing to be better. So many guests came up to us and told us it was the most beautiful, fun, reception they had EVER been too! We feel the same way!! Thanks so much to Debbie and all of her staff for making this the most special day of our lives!!

We are so happy that we picked The Mansion at Valley Country Club for our wedding reception. From day one, Debbie and the rest of the staff at Valley were incredibly kind, thoughtful, professional, and helpful. They were responsive to our questions and always willing to work with our requests. The Mansion at Valley Country Club is absolutely gorgeous and makes for a beautiful wedding reception venue. The staff worked tirelessly during our reception to make it perfect for us and we can't imagine it being anywhere else. They treated my mom, my mother-in-law, and me like royalty and we truly cannot thank them enough for all they did.
I highly recommend The Mansion at Valley Country Club to anyone looking for a beautiful and classic reception venue. You will be impressed with the venue, the staff, the food, and everything else!

The Mansion at the Valley Country Club is TOP NOTCH! Debra Donovan and her staff are extremely professional, genuinely friendly, and they really know what they're doing! One month after our wedding, our family and friends continue telling us about how they had the best time ever! The food was excellent (perfectly cooked filet & scrumptious crab cake), the service was wonderful (me and my groom were taken care of the entire time) and the venue is stunningly beautiful!
GUEST

The Mansion is a stunning location. We held our reception there and all our guests commented on how beautiful and unique it was. We had 150 guests and it still felt intimate. The food was delicious and we were very happy with the bar service as well. The dinner service was fast to give us plenty of time for dancing.
Debbie made decisions easy for me because she has a set way to do things that has worked in her experience. That worked for me, but some brides might want more flexibility.
The Mansion is beautiful and an overall good value for everything that is included.

I had my reception at Valley and for the most part it was wonderful. The place looked beautiful and everyone definitely had a great time. We got to drop all of our stuff off a few days in advance, which was really nice. They were a little too prompt with some things, like they served the cake but then took the plates away before a lot of people got to eat any. They also took the extra place settings away and did not pack them up for us to take home. We were a little disappointed the coordinator we had been working with left pretty early, and the food portions were pretty small.

Our daughter's reception was held at Valley County Club in Timonium Md this past weekend, 14 Apr 12. The staff really out did themselves. Everything was wonderful. Their attention to detail was unsurpassed.
GUEST

Valley Country Club was an excellent choice to have our wedding. The mansion is gorgeous to begin with and after Debbie and her staff were done decorating, it looked even more amazing. The food was delicious -- we had the steak and cake, and they were definitely on par with top restaurant quality. The bar was what attracted us to the venue in the first place and it did not disappoint! The drinks were fantastic. Overall, our wedding turned out to be just like the ones you see in the magazines. Everything was so polished and perfect that I really couldn't ask for anything more. I would definitely recommend Valley Country Club to anyone who plans on getting married!

Everything was amazing! It was the night of our lives and everything was perfect. The food was wonderful - we were a little worried beforehand because we hadn't been able to taste everything that was being served, but all our worries were for naught! I've gotten nothing but compliments from all of our guests for the food, the decor, and the helpfulness of the staff. It was a wonderful night and the mansion was gorgeous. Well worth the price, you cannot go wrong!!!!
GUEST

Debbie and her staff at the Mansion are unbelievably amazing!! My sister got married there in 2010 and I just had my wedding there last week and they do nothing short of a fabulous job. Each bride feels like the most important person in the world to them and they make your night unforgettable. Not to mention, they are the best price in town, and they also serve GOOD FOOD! We had a band and the main ballroom still comfortably sat about 150 guests. Everything was perfect - I can't thank them enough!

As mother and father of the bride we would like to thank Debbie and her staff for making the wedding of our daughter and son-in-law just perfect. The mansion was just beautiful. The service was impeccable. From the time we walked in the door until the time we left someone was always there to see if we needed anything. When we did ask the response was immediate. Sandy & Scott were on cloud nine. We received so many compliments on the mansion, the bar, the food, the service and a special thank you to Mr. Donovan for being able to meet with our guests. Debbie, thank you, thank you I can't express in words how wonderful everything was. I am so happy that we chose The Mansion at the Valley Country Club.

Debbie Donovan and her crew at The Mansion at Valley Country Club were amazing. The first time we stepped in there we knew it was the perfect venue for our wedding. The mansion was unique, felt like someone's home, and the sports bar area was perfect for the guys!
Debbie was with us every step of the way and is a true professional. She was able to handle requests from both sides of the family and was a great mediator when needed! The day of our event she kept the timeline moving and everything went off without any issues.
The steak and cake were absolutely fantastic--- highly recommended and they even accomadted vegetarian meals as well
Our guests were so amazed with the Mansion, the roaring fires, the fresh flowers in the garden, and the feel of stepping into an exquisite house party. Debbie Donovan truly is a mastermind with her...

I really loved this venue! It is absolutely beautiful and the package offered is very reasonably priced. I did find dealing with the staff before hand make sure everything runs smoothly is difficult they don't check email on a daily basis and getting them to answer phone is tough too. I made last minute changes in seating chart that they did not reflect and really screwed up alot of people's seats.

As the mother of the bride, I want to thank Debbie and her staff for a wonderful wedding. You guys were very professional and so attentive. Even some of my vendors commented on how nice you were. I especially loved the warmth of the fire from the fireplaces( wow 2 of them !!). Also, thank you for the gift; what a nice gesture of kindness. Continue to do excellent service !!!!

We are so glad we picked VCC! It was the perfect venue for our reception! We have received so many compliments on the venue, their food and service. All of our guests loved how unique the mansion was. The antique feel of the mansion was perfect for our vintage wedding and the sports bar was perfect for my husband, groomsman, uncles, etc. The house is amazing and the working fire place adds the extra touch. Debbie and her staff were very responsive, anytime I had a question or needed something. All of our guests had a wonderful time there and so did we.
GUEST

We held the ceremony and reception at VCC. They were amazing. The mansion was beautiful on a crisp fall evening. Debbie and her staff took care of everything. They paid special attention to my husband and I, ensuing we ate & drank. Debbie's tons of experienced helped us pull together all the special details. She also makes the bride feel special. The mansion is perfect for pictures too...complete with a huge winding staircase and grand entry.
My only complaint was that the ceremony was in the mansion not outside or in the ball room (against their recommendation). It was too crowded. Some of our guests could not see us and with my HUGE ball gown, my father and husband could not walk beside me down the aisle. Again... our fault for not listening.
The food was amazing. We have received nothing but compliments. We served filet and crab cake. The appetizers were fabulous! Oh and top shelf bar too! The guys loved the sports memorabilia in the BEAUTIFUL bar.
If we ever are in need of a venue in the future, we will come back.

The Mansion at Valley Country Club was the only venue that I visited and I would have been disappointed to be married anywhere else. It is very elegant and historical venue. Our appointment before the wedding was disappointing because the owner didn't seem to care very much and wasn't very patient, my mother was very upset afterwards. Also, I had a few instances where I had made an appointment or sent a fax/email and it wasn't received and then I had to do it again. I guess there are a few organizational problems. However, on the day of the wedding everything went smoothly. We got married in the reception area and I was worried about how it would look but it was absolutely gorgeous. During the cocktail hour everything was moved into place for the reception. During the cocktail hour I was treated like royalty (my immediate family and bridal party say the same), the staff was completely attentive to my every need. The food was delicious and the open bar a hit, overall an excellent value for our money. Many of our guests have said it was the most beautiful wedding they had ever been to.
GUEST

VCC was the absolute perfect place for our wedding and reception. We fell in love with the ornate beauty of the Mansion the first time we visited and we know we made the right choice. We got married there at Noon on 10/1/11. The day was cloudy and rain was in the forecast. Debbie & her staff had both the front lawn and ballroom set up for the ceremony and, when we made the call to have the ceremony outside (less than an hour beforehand), they immediately set to putting the final touches to the front lawn. The food was fabulous. The service was great. The staff was very attentive and respected the slight changes to the timeline we had to make as the reception moved on.
I have already recommended VCC to two of my friends who are getting married next year. One has already chosen VCC for her reception and the other will be visiting for the first time very soon to consider VCC.
Debbie, we love you! Thank you! Thank you! Thank you!

The Mansion at Valley Country Club was the perfect location for my wedding ceremony & reception. Debbie & the staff took care of everything the day of so that everything went smoothly. We got many compliments on how beautiful the place was. The food was delicious, the service & drinks were great. The price was very reasonable compared to other places I looked at. So glad I chose to have my wedding here!

The mansion is beautiful, spacious, and a great venue for any wedding. It was pouring rain just hours before our outdoor ceremony, but the valley country club staff made our indoor ceremony so beautiful, it looked like we planned it. All our guests had a blast. The food was delicious, especially the crab cakes. The staff is very friendly and worked with us to make the occasion just right and a great value. Thanks for providing the venue for a great wedding.
GUEST

Debbie Donovan and the whole crew at The Mansion were really great. Extremely flexible too, which we appreciated for all wedding vendors. And we searched high and low and they were half the price of comparable vendors in Baltimore city. We had slight issues contacting the mansion right away, usually you have to leave a message and wait for a call back, that's the only negative thing. Otherwise, every guest at our reception was raving about the quality of the service at The Mansion and now want to do bar/bat mitzvahs and Christmas parties there. Would definitely recommend.

Overall Opinion: The Mansion at Valley Country Club is an absolutely beautiful venue, however the management is HORRIBLE. I would not recommend using the Mansion at Valley Country Club for your wedding unless it comes under completely new management.
Pros: The Mansion is beautiful and very well kept for the age of the building. Despite the numerous issues and mistakes I had to deal with from the Mansion, my wedding planner Rachel Hoffberger-Shaw was still able to pull off our wedding with minimal mistakes.
Cons: The management for the Mansion is absolutely horrible. Debbie, the owner, while being a very nice and sweet lady is not the sharpest tool in the shed. Unfortunately, Debbie hires other women who are equally as dim. Almost every time I talked to Debbie, Jennifer, Kaitlyn, or Jackie they were so thick that I had to repeat myself or explain the same thing in a different way numerous times until they would finally begin to get some idea of what I was talking about. After our conversations, I still was never sure that they even understood me. And I was talking about typical wedding topics, such as a venue walk through so that I could explain what decorations I wanted to be placed where. The Mansion does not do a physical walk through, so it comes as no surprise that decorations where NOT correctly placed around the Mansion even though I had given them a detailed diagram. Another issues was that the Mansion lost my table assignment paperwork, even though I had sent it to them three times by the due date. I received a phone call four days before my wedding asking for our table assignments - dealing with lost paperwork for something that important is not what a bride should have to deal with that close to her wedding. A third issue was that our final meeting with the Mansion was with Kaitlyn and our wedding planner, Rachel. I explained all of the details for how we wanted things set up and the reception timeline to Kaitlyn who was barely taking any notes. On the wedding day my wedding planner and I discovered that Kaitlyn was not even working that day! Debbie didn't have Kaitlyn's notes or the timeline Rachel had sent them - so they had no idea how things should be set up or the timeline for dinner. Rachel had to go over the entire timeline with Debbie and Jackie at the last minute. Rachel also had to have them redo the set-up for things, such as our cake table because they had done the linens incorrectly due to not having Kaitlyn's notes. Luckily removing the cake to fix the linens did not damage our wedding cake. A fourth issue was that everyone had champagne for the wedding toasts except for my husband and I. How does a reception venue forget to give champagne to the bride and groom?! We had to pour some of the champagne from the best man's glass into our glasses before the toasts began. Finally, I was the most upset when Jackie worked our wedding. Jackie was so unprofessional on the phone when talking to me about our contract throughout the month leading up to our wedding that she caused me to cry several times. Therefore I specifically requested that Jackie NOT be present on the day of our wedding - but she was the first person to greet me when we arrived. Jackie was also extremely rude to our wedding planner, Rachel, the entire evening and I was actually able to overhear the rude things Jackie was saying so it wouldn't surprise me if our wedding guests were able to hear Jackie too. These are just five of the biggest issues we had to deal with from the Mansion - we had to deal with many, many more problems from the time we contracted with them in April 2010 until our wedding in August 2011. Dealing with all of these issues caused a lot of unneeded stress during all of our wedding planning and I was very unhappy with the way things turned out with the Mansion on our wedding day. Therefore, I want to stress that I do not recommend using the Mansion for your wedding unless they get completely new management.
GUEST

What can I say that hasn't already been said...this place was awesome. From the initial open house to the night of the reception, the entire staff delivered an a-class experience. With all of the time and planning that goes into a wedding, Debbie and staff managed the reception with expert precision and allowed us to really enjoy the evening. Our guests had a great time and commented on the gorgeous setting. Reserve your date!!!
GUEST

Valley is a wonderful venue, especially since it has that quaint feeling. Debbie and her team were more than helpful whenever we had questions or concerns. On the day of the wedding, someone was always coming up to check on me, which I really appreciated! I highly recommend Valley Mansion!!
GUEST

Debbie, Jackie, Jennifer and the entire staff at the Mansion at Valley Country Club were wonderful to work with during the entire planning of my daughter's wedding. They were always very responsive and when it came down to the wedding day, they made sure that everything ran smoothly and on schedule. The food was amazing, as good or better than you would get in a fine dining restaurant. Everyone raved about the steak and crab cake as well as the side dishes and hors d'oeuvres that were served. Many of our guests also loved the fact that Artie Donovan was in the bar and got to talk to him and take pictures. Our daughter really wanted a venue with a unique feel and vintage atmosphere and the Mansion at Valley Country Club definitely delivered!
GUEST

Debbie, Jennifer, Jackie and everyone at Valley was easy to work with. You get great service, food and decor for the price. I chose them because of the location and cost and I was not disappointed. The mansion is beautiful and needs no extra decorating. The food is delicious! I had guests commenting all night about how beautiful the mansion and outside areas were. The staff was very attentive all night long. They all helped make our wedding perfect!

The Valley Country Club is an excellent venue to have a wedding and a reception. Debbie Donovan and her staff were willing to help me have the wedding of my dreams and to ensure that my day went smoothly. They worked very hard to make sure all of the bases were covered before the day so that there would not be any issues.
They are strict on what is allowed in the venue due to the historic nature, but this was not an issue for me since I did not want confetti or bubbles.
The food was absolutely delicious, we had the steak and crab cake dinner. I have not heard any complaints from any of my guests.
They sometimes took a while to respond to my emails, but they were very thorough in their responses.

This place really speaks for itself. The minute we walked into the Mansion at Valley Country Club, we knew it was where we wanted to host our wedding reception. My husband and I wanted a non-conventional venue that fit our personalities and this place fit the bill. We had an evening reception in November and the ambiance was perfect, the fire was rolling, there were candles everywhere, and our guests could mingle between the front-rooms, the amazing bar and the beautifully decorated reception room. The service was excellent, the food was delicious, and for the price, it could not be beat. Debbie was very easy to work with and she made the planning process leading up to the big day pretty seamless. I have just one complaint. As a rule, VCC does not allow red wine at their events. We were disappointed at first, but we could understand their reasoning, given the irreplaceable furnishings in the house. (They may make exceptions to this rule, but Debbie was definitely reluctant and there would certainly be a price.) The thing that really bothered me though was that when my guests asked for red wine at the wedding, the bartender told them it was not available due to “bride’s choice”!!!! I don’t mind if they have that rule, but don’t blame it on me! They made it seem like I was a crazy bride that didn’t want her guests to have red wine because they might spill it on my dress or something ridiculous like that. I realize that this may seem silly, but I just felt that it was very unprofessional on their part and they could have just as easily explained to my guests the real reason they would not serve them red wine. Despite this small detail (which I thankfully did not hear about until days after the wedding), I would say that all-in-all, this is an amazing venue and if I had to go back and do it all again, I would go with VCC.
GUEST

We are so glad we picked Valley! It was the perfect venue for our reception! We have received soooooo many compliments on the venue, their food and service. All of our guests loved how unique the mansion was and not just a typical wedding hall. The antique feel of the mansion was perfect for me and the sports bar was perfect for my husband (and his groomsmen). The house is amazing and decorated beautifully to match each season. Debbie and her staff were very flexible and responsive anytime I had a question or needed something. All of our guests had a wonderful time there and so did we.
I would highly recommend Valley to anyone of my friends!

We held our ceremony and reception at the Country Club and Debbie and her team were amazing. They made sure our entire evening flowed smoothly. Once the party started, I didn't have a care in the world. The staff always made sure I had what I needed and were extremely organized. Also, the food was outstanding. Our guests could not stop commenting on how delicious the food was. We served steak and cake and the crab cakes were the best I've ever tasted. One thing my mother mentioned was that they did not serve coffee with desert but there was table set up on the corner where you could help yourself to coffee. I didn't notice this because I'm not a coffee drinker and I was too busy dancing. Also, I wish we could have had access to the mansion a little earlier in the day. The wedding before ours ended at 5:00 and ours began at 6:30pm. This gave us an hour to take pictures before the ceremony in good daylight with the mansion as our backdrop. I haven't seen my pictures yet, but I'm hoping we got enough. If the daytime wedding had started and ended a little earlier in the day we would have had more time to take the pictures I wanted outside. Overall, it was an amazing experience and a day I'll never forget. I recommend the Country Club very highly. If you plan to hold your ceremony and/or reception there, you will not be disappointed.

I cannot say enough FABULOUS things about The Mansion at Valley Country Club! Debbie, Jennifer, and the staff were all so easy and fun to work with, from start to finish. The Mansion is absolutely stunning, it really has a great ambiance and looks gorgeous decorated for your wedding. The staff made our whole event run seamlessly, our night was absolute perfection! Also, for the Baltimore/Towson area, you REALLY get a lot of bang for your buck here...filet & crabcake dinner at half the cost of Inner Harbor venues. LOVE THE MANSION!! Thank you!!!!!

From start to finish, Debbie and the staff at Valley Country Club created the perfect day for us. I was so impressed with the attention to detail, and the level of professionalism displayed by the entire team. Everyone at VCC went above and beyond to make this day incredibly special for us, and we will forever be grateful for all of their time, effort, and support. We have received so many compliments from guests on everything from the food, to the grounds, the service, and the ambiance and charm of the mansion itself. It truly was the perfect day. I would recommend the Valley Country Club to any future bride...and I would love to attend another wedding there myself!!
GUEST

After visiting many sites around Baltimore City and County, we decided to host our wedding reception at The Mansion. Debbie made us feel welcome from our first meeting, and we felt that the venue had the perfect mix of a small, unique setting and a professional catering facililty. All of our guests were made to feel welcome the night of our reception, and our coordinator for the evening, Jackie, was very organized and a pleasure to work with. As with any vendor, be sure to stay organized--make sure to follow up on any questions via email, then make sure to follow up on emails if you don't hear back right away, and be sure to request any changes you make to your event in writing to make sure there is no confusion on what should be a stress free, fun filled day.

Debbie, Jen and the rest of the mansion staff are amazing! My husband and I knew immediately that this was the place we wanted to celebrate our wedding with friends and family. Everyone at Valley Mansion is extremely professional and were so accommodating. The food was amazing and I am very picky when it comes to food. We had the crab cake and filet which was cooked perfectly and our guests raved about the food. I would recommend Valley Mansion to any future brides.

I can't say enough about Debbie Donovan and her staff. They are WONDEFUL! This was "THE" talked about event with the attendees! I have had phone calls and e-mail and even notes from our guests thanking us for inviting them. The Mansion was perfect for us. As you walk up to the door you begin to feel the magic that belongs to the Mansion alone! Inside is warm and welcoming. My daughter and husband's original date was Feb. 6th, 2010 and that was the day of the blizzard. For our event August 21st the bride had a broken ankle. The night of the event was as close to perfect as one could get. Debbie is one of those people you rarely get to meet. She is exuberant and happy. It shows in everthing she does. My second daughter's time comes wants her wedding here too.

FANTASTIC venue. We had a great time, and everything was great! Debbie is great, and her staff was exceptional. We would highly recommend Valley Country Club as a wedding venue to anyone who asked.
GUEST

Our wedding was on June 12 and the ceremony and reception were both at The Mansion at Valley Country Club. Because of Debbie and her superb staff, our wedding was absolutely PERFECT! We have heard nothing but positive comments from our guests and many have told us that it was the best wedding they have ever been too. We fell in love with The Mansion on our first visit and as soon as we met Debbie, we were sold. The staff made everything effortless from day one. Debbie was extremely accommodating throughout the entire planning. She even welcomed our surprise visits to show off The Mansion throughout the past year. On the day of the wedding, we did not have to do or ask for anything. The staff was always making sure that we had a drink and something to eat. We cannot say enough about The Mansion and the staff. We love them all dearly and would reccommend it to everyone. Thank you for making our special day so perfect!

The Mansion was a beautiful location for our May wedding. Debbie and her staff go above and beyond to make sure that everything is running smoothly and that the bride and groom are taken care of. I couldn't have asked for a more beautiful ceremony and reception!
GUEST

I can't say enough good things about the Mansion at Valley Country Club. The grounds are nicely maintained, and the flowers were so pretty (we had a May wedding). But the mansion is the best part! It's stunning inside! There is plenty of room for dining and dancing, but there are also more intimate parlor rooms where some of our guests could sit and talk without the music drowning out the conversation. Debbie, our coordinator, is so sweet and genuine in her desire to help create the perfect day – and she and her great staff succeeded spectacularly! Also, the catering is onsite, and the food was delicious – our guests won’t stop telling us how much they liked the steak and crab cakes! You’re in great hands with Debbie; I would recommend the Mansion at Valley Country Club in a heartbeat!

I would absolutely suggest anyone to look at Valley for their wedding. Not only is the location absolutely beautiful but the staff is fantastic. Debbie worked with me every step of the way to make sure my wishes were executed with care. I had a few times were I was unable to connect with her for a few days via email or phone, but they have weddings nonstop there, so I can completely understand.
The food was the BEST food I have EVER had at a wedding. More than 2 dozen guests said the same. We did the steak and cake and it was phenomenal!
I can't say enough about Valley. One of the best days of my life, at one of the best wedding venues I've ever seen.
PS - I think it is definitely a bang for your buck. My husband and I paid for the wedding ourselves, and we couldn't imagine getting anymore for the money than...

We had our reception on a rainy Saturday in March, and I couldn't have asked for more. The mansion was beautiful, the fireplaces were lit, and the staff at Valley Country Club made sure everything was perfect. Not only were Debbie and Jennifer wonderful to work with, but I cannot speak highly enough about Arturo. Arturo seemed to be the grease that kept everything running smoothly. If there was anything wrong at all that entire day, I have no idea. I don't have one single complaint about Valley Country Club, or it's staff. They were all very knowledgable, helpful, reassuring, and accomodating.

PERFECT venue for our winter wedding! We were blown away by the awesome service, delicious food, and incredible coordination of our wedding. We had 180 guests attend, and it was absolutely perfect. Our ceremony was here and our reception and I would recommend The Mansion at Valley Country Club to anyone looking for a beautiful venue with a top-notch staff. Totally PERFECT.

Debbie Donovan's shop was AMAZING! When my Fiance visited the Mansion last spring we knew this was the place for us. We found the Valley Country Club on google. We knew we wanted a more intimate setting than a hotel. We love the decor of the Mansion. My fiance being a huge sports fan loved the bar, which gives you the feel of a real Sports Bar. Debbie assisted us during the planning process by recommending vendors and giving decor ideas. Debbie customized the bar with beer chosen by my fiance and by including our signature drink. Her staff is amazing. Aturo and Ingrid where amazing during the ceremony and during our cocktail hour. The Mansion looked amazing. NOTHING WENT WRONG during our wedding. The timing of everything was fabulous and ran smoothly. The Valley Country Club is a great value in the Baltimore Area. Thank you Debbie, Jennifer and the rest of the VCC Staff.

Valley Country Club was EXCELLENT. There were a few speed bumps but in the end our day was wonderful. The staff on hand the day of could not have been any better. They attended to every need and did it with a smile.

The Mansion at The Valley Country Club is beautiful. It is the perfect place to have a wedding. You have the entire place to yourself, and the entire staff. It feels as if, it is a exquisite, and elegant house party, where everyone caters to your needs. The food was delicious and the bar was amazing.

Debbie is the venue coordinator and has a great staff to make sure the day of runs smoothly. There was no food tasting but we served the Filet and Crab Cake and it was phenomenal. The venue was absolutely beautiful and had so much more character than a hotel would have. I also felt like their prices were very reasonable considering it included a full open bar. Despite having a few bumps during the planning process, the day of went off without a hitch and we had an amazing wedding here!

We did not look any further after visiting The Mansion at Valley Country Club.
Debbie was a lot of fun to work with and helped us out with all of our questions.

Beautiful venue! Felt like everything was great and organized until the wedding day. Ceremony seating was not set up until 15 min before guests were to arrive and when it was, chairs were extremely tight. Hardly room for Dad and I to walk down asile. Guests were seated all the way into the dining room and could only hear the clanging of the dishes in the kitchen.(only had 145 guests) Wish I would have had a wedding planner. Felt very rushed during reception. At the end, I wanted to walk around to gather all of my belongings. I was not allowed by staff. They overly assured me that all of my things were packed up and sent with my parents. As it turns out there were many things missing and some things were thrown away that I wanted to keep. I didn't even get a piece of my cake.

A very well kept Mansion. The grounds are beautiful along with the inside. The lighting is amazing and the ballroom is beautiful. Both my ceremony and reception was great and beautiful. I was suppose to have my ceremony outside but it rained so they were able to move it inside with no additional cost. There is a great variety in food choices and the food is awesome. The staff was wonderful.

Debbie and Jennifer, coordinators at the VCC, are wonderful to work with. I had tons of little planning questions pop up along the way and they always quickly and graciously responded to them. We also asked to tweak the bar slightly to provide Guinness for my husband and that wasn't a problem at all! The venue is absolutely gorgeous. The parlors are nice for people to get away and chat, the ballroom was for the dancing crowd, and the guys LOVED spending time in the bar area. The appetizers and the dinner were very delicious. Debbie was so attentive the day of the wedding. I never had to worry about a thing! Mr. Donovan even stopped by to say hello to us, which made our day. I'm beyond happy with our choice to have our wedding here.

This is a beautiful venue. The food was great, the china is gorgeous as well as the table linens. The dance floor was large enough for everyone to move around and enjoy.
The only complaint we have is that Debi, the owner and coordinator was not available the entire night. She left halfway through the reception and was contracted for the entire 5 hour reception. The toilets in the women's upstairs bathroom were also backed up.
GUEST

Debbie, the owner handled everything perfectly for us, even though we did some unusual things for our ceremony. The result was a perfect day.

We were extremely happy to hold our ceremony and reception at the Mansion at the Valley Country Club. My husband actually found the venue and made the suggestion. Once we took a visit we knew it was the perfect spot to hold our ceremony and reception. Even though the weather was perfect and we could have opted for an outside ceremony taking place on the gorgous porch, we decided to stay inside. I walked down a beautiful flight of stairs and into a cozy intimate setting with my guests, bridal party, and groom all in close proximity. It was lovely. There was a cocktail hour during which time we took photos outside. Then guests where escorted into the dinning room/ballroom where we made our entrance. The service was great! The mansion looked beautiful! Our guests are still- three months later- raving about the food. My only regret was not booking an extra hour. In our opinion the price was very reasonable for the service we received at a beautiful intimate setting. Our coordinator Debbie was awesome to work with and always willing to work with our suggestions.
