The Marquardt Ranch

The Marquardt Ranch is the perfect location for your wedding ceremony and reception! It's located out in the scenic Hill Country area north of Boerne, TX, far away from traffic noise or city lights.

The ranch itself ( and the event center it includes) are beautiful and perfectly set up for both indoor and outdoor events (mine was both). I hardly needed any added decor! I got so many comments from guests about how impressed they were with the ranch and its beauty. Plus, everyone there (Amanda, Courtney, etc) was extremely helpful, responsive, and flexible. The day of my wedding was almost completely stress-free because Courtney (my month-of and day-of coordinator) handled everything smoothly and even checked with me every 20 minutes or so to see if I needed anything more. She adjusted the pre-made timeline of events as necessary, and if there were any glitches with any of my vendors, she must have handled them quickly, because I never knew!

I recommend the Marquardt for both weddings and quinces!

The Marquardt Ranch was an absolutely beautiful place to get married. It is very well maintained and the staff is unbelievably helpful and willing to do whatever is necessary to make your wedding day perfect! We got nothing but compliments on both the ceremony and reception site. Courtney did a FANTASTIC job as my day-of coordinator and kept everything moving. The Marquardt also provides floral services and Amanda did a beautiful job on my flowers!! Love this place!!

Beautiful venue!The service was great. I only had to meet with the wedding coordinator a couple times to go over details. She was very responsive and emailed me back within minutes whenever I had a question. She took care of everything the day of the wedding as well. The venues flexibility was great! We could hire any vendor we choose.I have no complaints!

The Marquardt was the most magical place to have a wedding reception. The scenery is beautiful. Amanda was our wedding coordinator and she was fantastic, went way beyond her duties. She also did our wedding flowers (they were stunning) and drove 22 min. to the church to help us with the boutonnieres and corsages before our ceremony. Lucky for us because we were having a terrible time getting them pinned on. The wedding reception was incredible. I can't tell you how many times our guest told us that it was the best wedding they have ever been too. Amanda was on top of everything, even helping our photographer find beautiful spots to take the outside pictures. I can't say enough good things about this venue. I highly recommend The Marquardt Ranch.

Wonderful, professional, well organized, and a beautiful setting.

The Marquardt Ranch was a beautiful place for our wedding. It overlooks the Medina river, so you can have an outdoor wedding and follow up with the reception indoors. No need for guests to relocate after the ceremony. There are fantastic photo opportunties as well. Its a one stop shop, but had difficulty with reserving the flowers and ended up going through another vendor for that. They offer a day of cooridinator. The girl that helped us was Shavaun Steele and she was fantastic! Because I planned the wedding on my own, the peace of mind that she provided was so wonderful. Everything went well and would reccommend this location in a heart beat!

My wedding was held at the Marquardt Ranch on February 20, 2010. As a wedding planner myself, I was very picky about who coordinated my wedding. Amanda at Marquardt is one of the few people I would trust to run my wedding. She was organized and very helpful. Since I am not from the area she was able to make various vendor recommendations within my budget. Everything the day of the wedding ran exceptionally well because of Amanda.

The ranch itself is stunning. Even in February when the grass was still dead from the winter, the view of the river running in the background of the ceremony is breathtaking. The indoor facility was the perfect venue for our reception. All of our guests raved about the location.

Amanda also handled the floral work for my wedding. She worked within my budget and needs and everything ended up looking even better than I'd hoped. I received a lot of compliments about the flower arrangements and bouquets.

Overall, I would recommend Marquardt Ranch to anyone.

My fiance and I wanted to get married in the Hill Country. The Marquardt Ranch was the perfect location. We choose to have our wedding on a Sunday in order to be able to have it in the spring- this is a popular location so book early to get the date you want. The ranch provides a wedding coordinator for a meeting before and coordination the day of. Shavaun was my coordinator and she did an amazing job. She took care of all my vendors and even did a meeting with me over the phone since I live 4 hours from Boerne. The ranch is beautifully decorated and the outdoor ceremony site is very well maintained- no overgrown landscape or bugs to worry about. This venue is very reasonably priced and when you book your day it is all yours all day- no sharing with other brides. The only downside is that it is literally in the middle of nowhere and guests can easily get lost- make sure to give them detailed driving directions. This veune also has a florist- Amanda who did a fantastic job on my floral arrangements- I met with her and gave her some basic ideas and color/ floral types. She came back with a proposal that was very workable and then the day of my wedding set up and made sure everything was perfect- which it was.

If you want a gorgeous, authentic Hill Country venue, this is it! My coordinator, Amanda, was very helpful and organized, though she was sometimes slow returning emails. The day of the wedding, she was a consummate professional and kept the day flowing perfectly. If anything went wrong, I never knew because she took care of everything and gently nudged my husband and I toward each step of the reception. I know the family who owns this venue and can truly say they are good, professional people who will appreciate your business. I love this place and would recommend it to anyone!

They were very flexible and the ceremony and reception were exactly what we were looking for. Also, the month before coordinator was awesome! Many venues don't have that!

My daughter Lindsey and her husband Eddie had their wedding at Marquardt Ranch on Dec. 30th, 2010, and we were very please with Shavaun her wedding coordinator for the day.
Shavaun was very attentive, sweet , kind, and very helpful . she was the GREATEST !!!! And she made things go smoothly that day. She also recommended Mike Lavendar for the music and he was also the GREATEST !!! Thanks so much to both of them. We kept hearing over and over what a beautiful and fun wedding it was. this place is beautiful and very unique! great photos oppurtunities and beautiful scenery!

We booked this venue before it was even finished being built. It was a little on the pricey side, but well worth it. Everyone there was very accommodating. They allowed us to come look at the place several times before and after we booked it, let me take my bridal portraits there, and allowed us to come and arrange tables and stuff several days before the wedding. We had access to the site the entire day of the wedding, and they were very helpful while my aunts (florist) were decorating.

The site is BEAUTIFUL. Our wedding was in July and, as usual, south Texas was very hot and dry, but the Ranch looked like we were in the middle of spring! Everything was so green and the landscaping is very well kept. To our suprise, many of our guests spent lots of time outside enjoying the scenery despite the Texas summer heat.

I would definately recommend Marquardt Ranch, but you better book early!

Marquardt Ranch is a beautiful venue. i and several meetings over 2 years planning our wedding with amanda. she did out linens, and flowers and was the day of cordinator. i hardly saw her during the day and several details were left undone because amanda said don't worry every thing will be taken care of. i should of stayed more involved that day and checked all her work.
