The Meadows Country Club

We signed with The Meadows about 10 months before the wedding and during that time the Event Coordinator changed 3 times, but Karen Lawson, who is the Coordinator now, is fabulous!!!!! I am actually quite happy that she did take over. She was incredible to work with and very easy going. The food was fantastic and I was warned by friends that the bride and groom are too busy to eat, but we were actually assigned escorts to take us to get our food and made sure we ate! The grounds were gorgeous as well, very green and tropical looking. I had DIY centerpieces and table decorations and they set it up for me; I didn't have to send anyone ahead of time to do it. I couldn't has asked for a better experience and it was incredibly affordable!!!!

The Meadows is Gorgeous and the Staff is Exceptional! They do alot for the price you pay! they decorate, tear down and make sure the bride and groom eat dinner by giving you your own personal waiter and waitress to plate your food and bring it to your table! Trish the banquet Manager busts her tail for every wedding thrown there and it shows!

The meadows is a beautiful place as is there reception area and the club itself. I couldn't give it a full five stars because we ran into some snags with them doing some remodeling. We booked our reception venue 10 months ahead of time. When we booked it they never mentioned they would be doing any type of remodeling. When i went a few weeks before the wedding i looked out the main window and there was the golf course all dug up and full of dirt. Part of the reason i had picked it was for the scenery out the window. I was very unhappy and was especially upset because they had known ahead of time yet never told any of the brides that were planning weddings that it was going to be going through major construction outside. Our wedding was still beautiful and the food was great but their communication on that factor was very poor. If i hadn't have had the construction issues it would have been 5 stars but that was just so upsetting a few weeks before my wedding finding out it wasn't going to look like exactly what i wanted. If you do book, ask if they plan on doing any remodeling first.

Beautiful location w/ views of the lake, great food and service. What more could you want?

The Meadows Country Club is an appealing location for weddings and receptions. The staff there is wonderful to work with.
