The fell in love with this venue when I attended a prior wedding. The venue is beautiful. However, to be completely honest the wedding coordinator was not so helpful. It was about $2500 for four hours. Ruth wasn't willing to be flexible with me as far as meeting times. I am a busy person and was always on her schedule. I thought many of her quesitons for me were irrelevant since I was the customer. Make sure you are the only event for that day. I would highly advise putting it in the contract for having access to reception area to decorate. My ceremony began at 2pm at a church and she wouldn’t let me decorate or set up until noon. I had family and guests from out of town to help set up but two hours is not enough time to set up let alone get ready for a wedding. I don’t recommend this place at all.

I have to say the only thing I was devastated over with my wedding is where I held the reception. The cost of the place was about $2000 which was great but if its too good to be true....it probably is. I dealt with the Manger of the Nathaniel Center "RUTH". She failed to tell me important information until only weeks before my wedding. Ruth booked another event on my wedding day and wouldnt let me decorate or set up until an hour before my wedding which was IMPOSSIBLE because I was getting married in a church 10miles away. There was no way I could have decorated at 4pm and been ready to walk down the aisle at 5pm in another location. She didnt work with us she was very rude to my mother and I. She only became nice once she saw all the wedding decor that we got my family to pull off. She wanted to take pictures to show other potential brides which I thought was selfish. I DO NOT wish anyone to experience what I had to experience!
