New Monopoly is a full-time professional provider of live entertainment specializing in weddings, corporate parties and fundraisers.  We offer the most diverse musical experience of any performing group in the region while maintaining a classy, but fun, stage presence.  From easy listening to swing, 50's doo-wop to 70's disco, Motown to 80's new wave, current radio hits to ethnic staples, the New Monopoly is an extremely versatile unit.  

New Monopoly is well known for it’s expansive song list.  We have invested countless years to be able to include all the songs you would expect from a live variety group. Plus, we don’t simply rest on our laurels. We work very hard to stay up-to-date, learning the best of today’s current radio hits to supplement our strong foundation of crowd favorites.  We use as our guide multiple sources - Billboard® charts,  DJ Top-200 play lists, as well as client submissions and requests.  This assures we consistently add great music to our list.  Our stage presentation is second to none, energy-wise - always providing the appropriate musical style driving your evening from start to finish with music everyone will enjoy.

No longer do you have to search the entire east coast when the best available group is available right here, local to Baltimore MD, Washington DC, Northern VA, York/Hanover PA, & Delaware.  There is no need to bring in a group from New York, Boston or Nashville just to realize the quality of presentation you want for your special day, plus pay the cost of accommodation, only to worry whether all of the members are going to arrive from their 4-8 hour journey.  You gain nothing but an inflated budget, and lose the personal touch of a liaison who will work with you personally to assure the success of your event.

New Monopoly is without a doubt the best all around product, with the most diversity, and the most complete package - plus we are right here in your local Washington DC/Baltimore community.   We work mostly private functions, so you won’t see us on a club marquee - but we are extremely well known in our field - that of black tie events - weddings, corporate events, media events, and fundraisers.

3. ✤  We are NOT a “club” or weekend warrior band that simply ‘puts on a tux’ to be able to perform at an upper class function.  Our demeanor, our presentation, our song list, even our selection of staff is geared strictly to formal weddings and corporate events.  We dress in uniform premium tuxes, and our ladies dress in cocktail dresses appropriate to your event.  

4. ✤  If you are an entertainment buyer who has had the unfortunate experience of hiring a band, yet seeing your guests sit in their seats all night and not dance, you didn’t hire New Monopoly.  Unlike most bands, we welcome the chance to go head-to-head with a DJ for audience satisfaction and proper song choice. The difference in energy between live and a disc is indescribable.
