The reason I went with Old Mill is because weddings are what they do best. There were no hiccups, no mistakes...it's unbelievable, but everything went without a hitch - and that is truly rare. They were able to answer all of my questions before I even asked them. I felt very well taken care of...and all of my guests had a fabulous time. It truly was a perfect day.

Great staff. The coordinator assigned to me and my future wife was wonderful and she didn't make us feel uncomfortable. You never know how people will react to a lesbian wedding, but she was awesome. Plus we heard from friends and family that the Old Mill has exceptional food and beautiful surroundings so it more than makes up for the slightly higher prices.

First off, the Old Mill is a beautiful venue. We had our reception in the Guildhall and it was simply stunning. That being said, our wedding was in September 09 and every room was booked. It was insanity in the garden and we couldn't take photos there. The venue also made a few bad mistakes. They "lost" the disposable cameras that were supposed to go on each table and didn't end up getting any to replace them until I noticed during dinner time...which was far too late. They also forgot to put favors on one of the guest tables - again, I had to tell them. They were late serving the main course because my husband hadn't "finished" his salad (as we were going around and greeting our guests) and prompted us to return to the table so they could continue serving. One of the servers spilt food all over the best man's tux. Our captain was dividing his time between rooms and it was often difficult to track him down. For the crazy money we paid, I expected a lot better service. On a positive note, the food was good and everyone had a great time.

I had my ceremony only at the Old Mill. The chapel is charming and the venue itself is beautiful for taking pictures. I would both recommend and also not recommend this venue for your ceremony.I knew that they did ceremonies one after the other, and that I would not be able to stand around out side the chapel after the ceremony, but I didn't realize how "rushed" it was going to make me feel. If you are ok with saying I do and then, hurry up, outta the way for the guests for the next wedding, then I say 100% book your ceremony with the Old Mill. The chapel is stunning on a sunny day. Just be prepared to get outta the way for the next bride, and expect there will be people from the next wedding hanging about when you come out of the chapel. It may be better if you book the last time slot for the chapel. That way you can take your time, great guests as they come out of the chapel and not worry that you will be holding anyone else up.On a positive note.... The grounds of the Old Mill are just amazingly beautiful for taking pictures. There are so many areas with diffrent back grounds, just beautiful! I also stayed at the Inn the night before and would 150% recommend room 404. It is stunning and is one of the only rooms with a balcony, It looks out into the court yard with the waterfall... beautiful! Floor to ceiling windows, huge seperate bedroom... this room was amazing!

We were very happy with everything at The Old Mill. We were a little concerned about there being two other weddings the same day and was worried I might have that embarassing moment when I would "meet up" with another bride in the hallway or ladies room, but that never happened. We actually weren't even aware of any other weddings at all, so the staff is pretty good at keeping things private. My only beef was that we had such a short window of time for use of the chapel for our ceremony which kind of dictated what time we had to start the reception following. There was another wedding in the chapel right before and another right after so we felt a little rushed but it all turned out ok. I would have liked a bit more flexibility in that. The service was great and the room manager was very attentive. He also worked really closely with our band (who were amazing) so we could have some dancing through the dinner. The food was exactly as expected and served quickly and on time and the servers were all friendly and efficient. All our guests enjoyed the quaint feel of the room, and we really appreciated having our own secured bridal suite to store everything. All in all we thought we got great value and would recommend this venue to anyone looking for a reasonable price and "all in one" place wedding. We had a room at the Inn for our wedding night so it made everything really easy - no limo service required.

We could not have been more happy with the service we recieved. They truly know what they are doing and can provide you with any serivce you need.Food and service were excellent and the grounds were beautiful for our pictures.

Beautiful! Very helpful, with so much character and grace, and absolutely delicious food!
Watch the pricing.

The Chapel is located where we are having our reception so the price is included with the reception but when you look at the break down it is not bad. They take care of pretty much everything for you as well as the minister or justice.

My wedding reception was at Old Mill Inn. The venue itself is very beautiful. You won't need any decoration to the room cuz it's pretty as it is. The sales manager is extremely helpful in terms of planning the meal and event for you. However, I chose the busiest day to get married in 2008. So their garden is packed, and I can barely take any good photo around the garden..

This venue is very nice and high class, but the cheapest out of all of the other venues that we looked at. The food was great! The evening went very well and it was very well organized

I have recently gone back to the Old Mill for a retreat with my company. This was where we had our bridal shower brunch, which was wonderful. The evening before my best friend and I stayed over and had great spa service. They give the best messages, I still remember how good my back felt afterwards and how relaxed I felt! It's a beautiful place, and it's the sort of place that you go to be relaxed and unwind. The rooms are clean and nice. The brunch was also nice! It was great to get all dresses up, and the dinning hall that we ate at was really beautiful! They had these big tables heaped with all this great food, and it all looked and tasted wonderful! We did need to make reservations, and we did ask for a reversation during a time that they wouldn't be so busy.

The Old Mill Inn was a great venue for our wedding. We've heard that having too many weddings at the same time were confusing; however, we did not find this at all. We did use their chapel, which was great - and we knew ahead of time that because it was so dark, the photos would be as well. The food was fantastic (100 times better than the tasting, which scared us) and the service was AMAZING. Everything was flawless, we totally felt like they took care of us and we didn't have to worry about anything at all during the reception.
