The Oregon Grille

We had a small, intimate wedding ceremony and decided to have our "reception" at one of the finer restaurants in our area. We had our own separate party room with our own assigned waitstaff. The waitstaff was outstanding. They were constantly filling empty glasses and catering to the needs of the guests. I was disappointed that the groom and I were served almost dead last, but I guess that's just the way the food came out... Also, by the time we arrived there was no more fruit and cheese, and I kind of thought someone would have set some aside for us.

I worked with Devin, who was very helpful in the planning process. He wears many hats at the restaurant, and sometimes I didn't get a response as quickly as I would have liked. The kitchen was very accomodating in their offerings, and was even very flexible the day of with some of my guests who were picky eaters.

I arrived late the night before the wedding to set up and felt very rushed, and I did not have an opportunity to decorate the way I wanted to. I know it was late and they were ready to close and get home; but I also know we spent quite a bit of money there the next day and could have been given an extra 10-15 minutes...

Overall I was very pleased with our experience. The atmosphere was lovely. The food was delicious. They charged us by the coffee cup instead of per person with free refills... All in all I have good memories of our "reception," however, I was slightly disgruntled over a few small things. It was still a wonderful experience, and I will definitely visit again!
