Party DJ Express was recommended to me by a friend and I also went to high school with the owner. I was very happy with their DJ service. Sean did a great job with pre-wedding preparation. He met with my husband and I prior to the event and also keep in contact with me up until the day of my wedding to make sure we had everything prepared.

The day of the event went great. He was flexible with the changes we needed due to time and he also was quick on his feet when I needed to change things during the reception. The guests at my reception enjoyed the music selection and had a great time.

I would recommend Sean and Party DJ Express to anyone that needs a DJ. They are great DJs for a great price for what we needed. They were professional and made my wedding day a great success with the music and lighting.

My husband and I knew from the first meeting with Sean that he was going to be our DJ. His demeanor and attitude were exactly what we were looking for. He was very accommodating to our schedule and needs. He listened to what we had to say and gave advice when needed. Needless to say, our wedding was phenomenal!!! Sean did an amazing job with our wedding, I wouldn't have changed anything in the world. He was so cooperative in changing the songs repeatedly to even changing our entrance song to something different the day of the wedding, polite, easy going, energetic and just felt like one of your friends was djing your wedding. Jon and Eric performed the DJ services for my reception. They were very helpful and on top of everything. They played nearly all of the songs on our list if not all of them. We had a few songs that showed up on a do not play list and as the night progressed one was requested. Jon was certain to find me throughout the crowd and ask for my approval before playing it which was great. We have no complaints and thought they did a fantastic job at our wedding. There was early communication to get plans for the reception as well as updates up to the actual day. They were not over bearing with this and had the perfect amount of planning. We would suggest The Party Express DJ's to anyone who is looking for a great experience for their wedding reception.

My husband and I were married on August 27th, 2011 in Wilmington DE. This date is not only memorable as the day of our wedding, but also as the day Hurricane Irene stormed up the East Coast! Prior to the wedding date, we had been searching for DJs online, and came across Sean's website. After reaching out to him, he was extremely responsive, and we scheduled an appointment to go over all of the details. We met at a restaurant, and while my husband and I stuffed our faces on appetizers, Sean was compiling all of our ideas. He was extremely prepared, professional, and organized. He provided us with an outline for the music and events that was extremely helpful. The day of the wedding was extremely stressful, and as the weather was continued to worsen, we received several cancellations. Sean called to make sure everything was still on track, and showed up early to set up all of the equipment with an assistant. Sean hauled all of the equipment into the venue hall in the midst of the battering wind and rain. Throughout the wedding, he ensured the events of the night stayed on track, and was extremely interactive, and changed anything we asked immediately. When our events coordinator informed us we had to leave early as Delaware issued road closures, Sean pumped the dance music into high gear! We wanted to make sure we got our dancing in before the night was over, and Sean made sure to play the music that the whole wedding would dance to! The lights were amazing, and he was always funny and lighthearted, keeping the positive energy in the room. After the event, Sean and his assistant had to make the long haul back to PA, and encountered downed power lines, high winds, and sideways rain. He never complained once, and was always sure to say that he was dedicated to making our event special no matter what!! I highly highly recommend Sean's services, and can say he was everything and more on our special day!

We met Sean at the Reading Country Bridal Fair and knew right away that he would be a ton of fun to have at our wedding reception. I can't say enough about how pleased we are with Sean and Party Express DJs! Sean was so easy to work with, and made the evening very memorable for my husband and I, and our guests. We had a destination wedding, and used Sean for our reception at home. We wanted a laid back atmosphere without all of the typical wedding details. Mr. Shipper and Moyer granted every request and wish, maintained and met every timeline, worked exceptionally well with every vendor and staff member, and gave definition of a true professional new meaning. From his ability to reassure even the most stressed bride, to making sure every issue was addressed and ensuring any encountered problems were never brought to our attention, and his impeccable power of transforming a ballroom into both a romantic and elegant and fun and adrenaline-ridden memory, I commend Sean. Sean never stopped during my reception, his energy and passion is undeniable. The up-lighting generously scattered throughout the ballroom created a glamorous feel, the “ice-breaker” games he played with guests had everyone feeling involved and comfortable, and the lighting dashed around the room, on the ceiling, and sparkling onto our wedding cake transformed the atmosphere. Guests commented that they have never seen such attention to detail or felt more indisputable warmth from a DJ service, as Sean proved he cared not only about my new husband and I but wanted to make sure every guest left with a “wow”. The Party Express DJs have a noteworthy gift of leaving a lasting impression on every last person, especially me and my new husband.

Sean and I were in very close contact throughout my wedding planning process and he never once made me feel like he couldn’t provide me with a wedding I dreamed of… and most importantly, he was able to deliver just that. The spectacular exquisiteness of the lighting and splashes of color throughout the ballroom coordinated perfectly with my theme colors, sage and champagne. Sean and I spent a great amount of time discussing song selections and it is extremely rare to meet a vendor who puts that much time and energy into making sure that the finer details will capture and deliver exactly what was intended. When Sean asked me what I wanted for my reception, I told him I wanted him to be interactive, play songs that guests wouldn’t be able to resist getting up out of their seats for, and contain splashes of originality. When you are able to look at wedding photos and your wedding video and see guests with jaws dropped, hands in the air, arms around each other, smiling from ear to ear, and radiating with being “wowed”, that is the best gift a bride could ever receive. From the loved, smooth sounds of Dean Martin and Frank Sinatra to start the evening, to sing-alongs with Barry White and Al Green to lighten the mood during dinner, to the customized and personalized song selections for cake cutting, throwing the bouquet, and tossing the garter, to every guest, young and old, in disorganized unison on the dance floor learning for the first time or perfecting their “Apache” and “Cupid Shuffle” moves, and to the fast-paced, hips swinging vibes of Lady Gaga, Flo Rida, and Michael Jackson, Sean covered all bases. Special moments were had with slow songs as Evis Presley and Train serenaded the crowd and guests threw their belongings down when it was discovered Sean was going into overtime with songs such as “Let me clear my throat” and “Get low”. As one of the slow songs Sean played to end the evening stated, “I had all I’ve waited for, and I could not ask for more”. Sean and The Party Express DJ's were an excellent choice for our wedding! The did a great job getting our guests up and moving! The flow of the evening was perfect! He was also very flexible when we wanted to do something special and personalized for the introductions. We got married in 2004 and we had Harry Kalas (voice of the Phillies) record our introductions. Sean put some music under and made it work out flawlessly! People STILL talk to us about that intro and we have recommended Sean to other friends and family! We also appreciated the pre-meeting where Sean came right to our house to meet with us!

Jon and Nick from Party Express DJs did a wonderful job with my wedding. They were flexible and dealt wonderfully with some last minute minor changes. They were professional at all times, yet upbeat and fun! My husband absolutely loved them and felt that we couldn't have chosen anyone better. They spent a great deal making sure everything would go off without a hitch. Jon and Sean (business owner) met with us about two months before our wedding and we hatched out a lot of the details. Party exspress dj was by far the best dj I have ever seen they got the crowd into the reception by involving them in fun games and other activities I would recommend them to anyone for any event they played every song we wanted them to and also took requests. They got the crowd on the dance floor and had us rocking all night long!!!!

We had Sean Shipper as our DJ for our wedding reception. He was very creative and always asked for our input before just going and doing an activity right away weather it be announcing the cake cutting, or bride and groom dance, etc. He knew how to think on his feet and made the party fun. He was very professional. He was on time. I liked how well he was able to survey his crowd and from that, was able to tell what they would like to do and when, i.e. dancing and games. If you're not sure what you wanna do or if you just don't feel like thinking about a whole lot (since you probably just wanna party after getting married), he has a lot of good suggestions. Most importantly, he was mainly focused on what the bride and groom wanted at the party in terms of music played, attmosphere, and sequence of events. Sean gladly takes any requests BUT He will not play something the bride and groom doesn't want played even if somebody at the reception requests it. Our crowd enjoyed the entertainment. We would recommend him to anyone who wants to have fun at thier party.

Sean^2 of Party Express DJs were wonderful; they worked together, solved last minute unexpected problems, and got almost every single one of our guests up there on the dance floor. They had a lot of fun activities that got the crowd motivated (even those who were too shy to dance), and despite some unexpected time constraints, they managed to fit in all requests. Our wedding was a bit non-traditional and the Seans were flexible enough to break their routine a bit to really fit in what we wanted.
Overall, after using their services for our wedding, my husband and I would highly recommend Party Express DJs to anyone that wants a DJs that will honor their requests (no matter how traditional or non traditional they may be), wants an amazing price, and mostly wants their guests to have an amazing and memorable time!

Sean was wonderful to have as our D.J. We worked together on our song list, we new we wanted great music to fit our taste and get the crowd dancing. planning a wedding i found out is very stressful when it come to the church and the reception hall andthe dresses and hell everything else. sean with dj express was the only thing that i didnt have to worry about..... i gave him a song list and he did everything in his power to make sure it was ganna b the best day or our lives and IT WAS... hes young and entergetic and has everything planned out and keeps u updated through out the night so u know where to b at all times so u dont miss anything. i recamend dj express 100%.

Every guest had a lot of fun at our wedding. Many did not like to play games, but enjoyed every minute of the games we had chosed to play with our guests. Many have commented that they have never had so much fun at a wedding before and were quite entertained. A wise choice for winter and any inclement weather weddings to have entertainment. Guests forget what is going on outside and enjoy themselves rather than sitting and waiting. Our guests as well as ourselves, will have many fond memories of those laughing so hard they are crying.

We loved that they played our previous suggestions during dinner, and then mixed in music that completely fit in. everyone loved the dance music, and there was always people on the dance floor during the night. Their freelance, natural way of running the reception was great, everyone was engaged. We and everyone else had a blast! Not to mention the room looked amazing - the uplighting was better than I couldve imagined. They were professional, but not stuff, which was the perfect balance.

Sean and his staff did a great job of getting the party going and keeping the energy up all night. The final songs of the night were perfect.

Everything was good and professional.
Didn't think the 2nd DJ was necessary.
Happy with entertainment he provided.
Was accommodating for unique song selections.
Had multiple toasters, and was a little weak on introducing them.
Provided ceremony music as well.
Provided good ice breaker at reception.
Overall, we were happy with his services.

At first they tell you that they will "cater" to you and your likes- you're the bride and groom and this is your wedding. Then come the day of the wedding- that definitely doesn't happen.

Before the wedding they ask you what music you want played during dinner, which I can honestly say that they played some of it. When we met with them a couple weeks before, were asked to give them a list of "dancable" songs that we would liked them to play. I think 5 out of 20 or so were played.

During our meeting weeks before the wedding, they told us that if they didn't have a specific song, that they would tap into the hotel's wireless and get it. So, at the end of the night they came up and asked me if there was anything that I wanted played that wasn't played, I said yes. Was it ever played...NOPE!

All in all, I think they "talk the talk," but definitely don't "walk the walk." NOT impressed!

Party Express DJs... what an impressive team! Our experience together was extremely enjoyable, they were helpful, accommodating and fun to work with. They did an excellent job at keep us informed on what they were doing and giving us the notice we need to prepare for capturing the moments of the couple's day! Couples often do not realize how important it is that the DJ they select be a team player and be willing to work with the photography team to not only make the day as fun as possible but also to create the lasting memories from their day! Sean with Party Express DJ's was a pleasure to work with at a recent wedding. He provided us an audio feed for the video which makes our reception coverage sound great. He was very professional and played a good mix of music that kept the guests on their feet for the entire reception. He made sure to communicate all key events to us so we were ready to go.
