The Party Place

The Party place had everything we wanted to rent, but when we got the final bill they had charged us for some lost items.

Party Place does offer great stuff at a great price. Unfortunately, we had some serious customer service issues with them (wrong order, payments not processed on time, unprofessional attitude) that would not inspire us to use them again. That said, we used the Stark Steet location while friends have used the North Loring location and had a much better experience.

They did a great job and the price was reasonable. They delivered promptly and everything looked wonderful.Thanks againJon & Kristin Wallace

They had everything we were looking for, at a competitive reasonable rate. They were on time for everything and attentive on the phone and in person.

We rented equipment from Party Place for a rehearsal dinner, the ceremony and a BBQ the day after the wedding.....Party Place is so easy to work with and has a great selection. Prices are very reasonable. I also rented reception chairs from them and they were the best deal in town! They were very flexible when I had to change my order (a couple times) at the last minute. The staff is so friendly and helpful. I would recommend Party Place without any hesitation!

They wasted no time setting us up with chairs and tables that we had to have at our reception.The delivery truck arrived on time for delivery and pick up.It is definitely not the last time we do business with them.

The Party Place has amazing equipment for rent.We needed chairs for our ceremony and they where very happy to provide us with some for a low rate.Everyone at The Party Place was very friendly.

The company was great to work with, we got everything we needed and the pricing was very reasonable. We got all of our tables, chairs and linens from them. They delivered and picked up everything for us. We were very happy with the service that we received.

The Party Place had a nice selection of colors on their cushion chairs and they where the right price for out budget.Everything arrived clean and ready to use.They do a great job of picking everything up for a small fee.

They had everything I needed (classy, simple stuff), they delivered promptly, and they let you change your order up to three days before the event. The people on the phone were always patient, helpful, and accurate. Their prices are fair. Additionally, a tablecloth and ice scoop didn't make it back in the rental truck, but they were really nice about letting me return it and taking it off our bill.

We needed to rent 12 chairs for our ceremony (in the Rose Garden) and The Party Place was extremely helpful. Many other places charged a lot, or were unable to rent so few chairs. They were very affordable, and easy to work with. They told me which chairs would be comfiest. I wanted to have them delivered, but once they told me that I would pay about five times the cost of renting to have them delivered, I took their advice and had a friend volunteer to pick them up and drop them off. They were very flexible with the pick up and drop off times. Thank you!

The Party Place had worked with Kruger's Farm before, so it was really easy to set up the connections for drop off and pickup. We needed lots of tables and chairs as well as a few large tents for the day, since our reception was outside at the farm. One of the best things about working with the Party Place was their understanding: in order to plan an outdoor wedding in May in Portland, we had to be prepared for any kind of weather. Though the weekend ended up being a heat wave, we were ready for it to be stormy. Party Place had large tents on hold for us in case we needed them for the ceremony, and did not charge us anything when we didn't need to opt for them after all.

They accommodated our needs when we needed flooring.They have a very nice oak flooring that is very inexpensive to rent.They where a great company to deal with we had no problems.

We got a few linens and also candelabras and other weddings accessories from The Party Place. The business was very nice to both of us as we had lots of questions on the process and all of the rental costs. They were more than happy to discuss all of the details with us and they showed us everything they had that we possibly would like for our wedding. We got really nice items that we rented from them at fair prices.

Portland Rent All had everything that we needed to rent. It was delivered a little later than we were told but everything worked out great. We opted to do the set up and break down ourselves to save on budget. The dishes were nice and the chairs looked good. The linens were perfect. We rented stuff for the catering and it was perfect. They pick everything up for us when they said they would. The rental was a great price and it went very smooth. Thank you.

Between two local vendors for event rentals, The Party Place had the better customer service, and the quality of their shop and websites were comparable. The Party Place came through with all we needed. Great place. What you see is what you get.

Rented ceremony chairs and a few linens. Fine service. Slightly limiting delivery/pick up times, but it all worked out.

The Party Place has a good selection of rental supplies to suit any wedding.The people that came over to deliver all our rental items where also great with setting everything up in the right location.

The Party Place was recommendable--they had a wide variety of glasses, napkins, tablecloths, etc, and they even ordered more of certain things specifically for us. The prices were okay, and the staff was always friendly and helpful.There are only two reasons they are not rated more highly.1) When they delivered our order, they had forgotten the tablecloths so all of the assembled friends who were arranging the tables had to wait to do so until they came back with the tablecloths. This was a minor inconvenience, but frustrating the day before the wedding.2) As usually happens, some of our forks and glasses were lost. We looked up the prices online of these same forks and glasses and they were a small fraction of the price they charged for the missing items.

Invites were beautiful but a little on the slow side.

I wanted to rent chairs, but again, the weather made it unnecessary, so I had to bail. They were really nice though.
