The cake was more beautiful then I had ever imagined! But the best part, the cake tasted amazing (the cafe latte cake flavor is to die for)!!! I had guests come up to me telling me how much they loved the cake. Sherri is also great to work with, very professional and responds to email or calls quickly. Coming into the studio, I had no idea what I wanted for the wedding cake and she came up with a design I absolutely loved :)

All I can say is WOW! My wife and I were blown away with Sherri and The Pastry Studio. We ordered cupcakes instead of the traditional wedding cake and Sherri is a true artist. My wife and I were on a very tight budget and didn't know what we wanted in the beginning. We thought we'd just go with plain cupcakes from our local grocery store, until we saw what Sherri can do! We ended up spending more then double then what we had budgeted for, but I would have spent 3 times our budget for what we got. Sherri sat down and started sketching our idea and literally brought it to life for! We trusted her creativity and she did an amazing job! I recommend the red velvet and the Reese peanut butter cupcakes! So yum! Thanks Pastry Studio!!!

Working with Sherri of The Pastry Studio made our design of our wedding cake effortlessly. I already knew I was in good hands when The Pastry Studio was referred to me since our wedding was in Daytona Beach, FL and we live in Maryland. I worked with Sherri over the phone ....from our initial consultation to designing our wedding cake. Wow, when I saw the cake on it's cake table with a back drop of the ocean, I was in total aww of it's beauty. The cake was so flavorful and so moist. I thank Pastry Studio for being part of our "Dream Team" and making our wedding day perfect!

I can't rave enough about how professional the pastry studio was. The cake was the most delicious wedding cake I have ever had. Guest are still raving about it. I couldn't decide which flavor I enjoyed the most. Both the red velvet and chocolate were ridiculous good. The design the pastry studio came up with and executed was breath taking. Don't make the mistake and pass up booking your cake through this vendor. Yes, they are more expensive, but the quality and ingredients they use set them far apart from their competitors. Holy crap, I don't know what was better-- the way our wedding cake tasted, or how gorgeous it was!! We couldn't even save the top tier, we had to see what that flavor tasted like!! And the cake was even more awesomely beautiful that I imagined it was!! The flowers and vines turned out great!!

Sherrie Meyers at The Pastry Studio is truly an artist. When she and I first spoke about the cake, I was impressed with her interest in the style of the wedding. She was interested in hearing my thoughs on what I liked from cakes I'd seen and what I was looking for. I sent her a few pictures of some cakes and described what I liked about each. She quickly came up with three designs and we selected the one we liked best. I was excited. Actually seeing the cake on the day of the wedding blew.me.away. I was stunned at how gorgeous it turned out! I can't thank her enough for the gorgeous, yummy cake. I think it should win awards and love to show pictures off to everyone I know. Beautiful creation, three tiered, great tasting, looked so good we almost hated to eat it (we plan on returning each year to repurchase the top when we celebrate our anniversary)! We sat down at one meeting with Sherri and were able to create a gorgeous wedding cake. At the wedding, the cake was a beautiful piece of artwork. It did not only look good, but also tasted good. She really has a keen eye for beauty, as she shared some amazing pictues of the cake with us as well. Thank you!

By the time I decided to get married, I already new exactly what I wanted my wedding cake to look like! Simple and elegant! I wasn't so sure what I wanted it to taste like. It was great to be able to figure that out with the help of Sherri and the team at the Pastry Studio. The cake looked exactly how I wanted it to and tasted great! It was delivered when expected and presented beautifully. I felt as though I was the only Bride she was working with. Sherri was flexible with our meeting time, and I believe she worked on her normal day off to make my cake because I was married on a Tuesday! I highly recommend The Pastry Studio. I loved the tour of the kitchen where all the magic happens!

They get top ratings from us and all of our guests! Shop, beautiful. Service, top notch. Cake taste and appearance, out of this world. I truly believe they can design ANY THING you can imagine. Truly wonderful. My new Husband's favorite part of the wedding planning was going to the Pastry Studio and having our cake tasting. It was a "cake Therapy" session. We each came in with ideas of what we liked, Sherri listened, and the "Poof!" like magic she designed a cake the had both of our visions incorporated. We chose a cake with chocolate mouse and we received complements from SO many guests. One of my favorites was, "This is the best wedding cake I have ever tasted, can I get a second slice?" The design tied everything together for our vision and Sherri and the Pastry Studio was to wonderful to work with. They were responsive to any e-mail, thoughtful in their work, and truly professional from start to finish. The best cake baker/designer we could ever have been so lucky to have!!

The Pastry Studio was a little bit expensive but well worth it. Sherri really listen to what I wanted and the cake really reflected who I am. The cake was really cute and amazingly delicious! And I also got cupcakes as a wedding favor and all of my guests thought it was so fun and loved it! I can't wait for our one year anniversary to eat rest of my cake :)

Perfection! posted 5/18/2011I didn't tell Sherri this when we went to our cake tasting, but I don't normally like cake. I wanted the cake to be so good that I actually wanted to eat it instead of it just being a beautiful show piece (which it also was); Sherri and her team met and exceeded every expectation I had!!! I craved the cake every single day from the tasting until our wedding & I will probably be breaking into the top tier pretty soon. The Pastry Studio did our wedding cake & the groom's cake & I can unreservedly say they were the best wedding and groom's cakes I have ever seen or tasted! We got so many compliments on both of them and the cake was my very favorite part of my wedding (besides getting married of course)! I've already started to think of occasions to order more cake. I would highly recommend using Sherri and the Pastry Studio for a wedding cake vendor. I am a certified chocoholic who wanted a unique cake that incorporated my wedding colors - coral and ivory. I found a picture of what I wanted the cake based upon in a wedding magazine and asked Sherri to put her own personal spin on it with the colors I requested. The outcome was AMAZING. Not only was it one of the most unique and beautiful cakes I have seen, but it was by far the best wedding cake I have ever tasted. It was moist fresh and delicious. And chocolate inside and out. They were a little more expensive than some other vendors in the area but well worth the price. You absolutely get what you pay for at the Pastry Studio as the cakes are customized and much time and effort is put into each work of art.

Sherri and Rhonda are creative and talented and fun and were such a pleasure to work with. They are able to make anything you can dream up. No need to worry about a thing with them on your team. Their cakes are too beautiful to cut, but too delicious not to!

DELICIOUS!!!!!! GORGEOUS!!!!!!!!!!!! I can't get over how amazing our cake was!! I looked through some magazines to get what I wanted because with all of the models, I liked a variety of different traits that I wanted put together for my own customized look. I gave Sherri those pictures, told her the things that I liked, and let her be the artist. It was awesome -- I would tell her what liked and I could see the wheels turning in her head...she would draw it out and she nailed it. Amazing. So without ever seeing a model beyond a drawing, I put my faith into her and she literally created EXACTLY what I wanted. It was so beautiful. And then on top of that, her cake TASTED amazing!!!!! We got so many compliments on the cake...one guest said, I don't even like cake and I thought it was so good!! It was so moist and intense with flavor...if you are getting married in the Daytona area, do not even consider going anywhere else. Sherri is AMAZING!!!

It was a pleasure working with Sherri and Rhonda at The Pastry Studio for my daughter, Natalie's wedding. We knew from the minute we walked into the Pastry Studio that we were going to have a wonderful experience. Sherri's calm and professional manner put us at ease at once. Because we were unsure of the style of cake we wanted, Sherri began to sketch an idea on a pad - it was truly magical and the cake seemed to come to life right off the page! Rhonda brought out several cake samples to taste and my daughter and her fiancee' were able to select the flavors they wanted. Sherri took a personal interest in all aspects of the wedding and wanted Natalie and Kyle to have the wedding cake of their dreams! When the cake was delivered, it was as magical as the sketch that Sherri had drawn - she added some starfish and pearl decorations on the cake which matched our theme and the wedding invitations. The cake was not only beautiful but the taste was amazing! We also decided to have the Pastry Studio make our table favor - A huge starfish cookie that was wrapped - we attached the place card to the outside of the cookie. Sherri was so helpful and my cupcakes and wedding cake were beyond perfect. Even when I didn't have a clear picture of what I wanted Sherri helped me pull it all together and it turned out even more elegant that I could have imagined.

The Pastry Studio was abousolutely amazing! Our wedding cake was perfect and the grooms cake was above and beyond! The Pastry Studio is not only awesome for their art, but the taste of the cake is even better!!!! Sherri was perfect and helpful with every detail. Sherri is absolutley wonderful! This was the most important part to my fiance as he wanted a cake that looked good and also tasted good. (not typical with most fancy cakes). When we found THE PASTRY STUDIO is was like a dream come true. The cakes flavors are AMAZING and so UNIQUE and BEAUTIFUL. She really listened to what we wanted and how to put it all together. And then when we had a last minute switch due to a horrible florist, she was able to change the top of the cake and make it EVEN MORE WONDERFUL than I could have imagined. ALL of our guests commente on how gorgeous a cake it was and then when they ate it, they couldn't stop telling us how good it was! We even had several people tell us (who are world travellers) tell us that they know from seeing cakes in NY and all over the world that our cake had to of cost at least $5,000. It looked like a million bucks and was priced so reasonable! Not even close to that price!!! :) Sherri was incredible! I love her artisitic ability and flexibility and would recommend her to my best friend.

Sherri and her talented team were brilliant at helping with all of my cakes -- I had three AND I arranged everything from overseas! The bridal tea cake was perfect -- whismical and beautiful. The groom's cake was amazing -- surprised my "groom-to-be" just right. Our wedding cake; breath-taking! They took our wedding invitation and used designs that matched. Everyone commented on how exquisite it was! Not only were the cakes beautiful, they were absolutely the best we've ever tasted and the service was second-to-none. Sherri is possibly the sweetest woman in the world. It was such a pleasure to work with someone who LOVES and takes pride in what they do. Her work was amazing. It looked beautiful and hands down the most delicious cake EVER. Everyone still raves about how good the cake was and the big portion that they received. Sherri and the Pastry Studio did an excellent job with our bridal shower and wedding. For the bridal shower, we had a miniature spin off of our wedding cake and had adorable cookie favors shaped and decorated as bridal gowns. Sherri and the pastry studio found ribbon that matched our colors perfectly to tie each cookie with. For the wedding, the wedding cake was absolutely gorgeous. We loved the favor cookies so much that we used them again for our wedding favors. The cookies were shaped as different beach themes, such as seashells and sand dollars, since our wedding was at the beach. The cookies were all hand tied with our colors again. We made personalized thank you tags for each cookie, and Sherri and her staff were more than willing to tie each tag on the cookie for us. They were always very friendly and efficient. Sherri's artistic abilities and ideas, were amazing. We received numerous compliments on the cake and cookies. They were beautiful and deliicious. The cake was moist and flavorful. I cannot offer enough praise to the bakers and decorators at The Pastry Studio! From teh first meeting with Sherri, I knew I was in good hands. As I described my dress and my vision for the wedding her artistic hands were working away and she designed the most beautiful cake right before my eyes. As we tasted the samples she provided for us, my mom and I were amazed at the quality of the ingredients. Each flavor was as delicious as the next. I ended up chosing 2 flavors, red velvet with cream cheese frosting and a double chocolate with dulce de leche filling, without tasting them first. I was so confident in the bakers that I had no worries. The wedding cake itself was gorgeous! Sherri emulated the design on my dress perfectly! Everyone is raving about how delicious the cakes tasted! Even those who do not prefer chocolate ate both! A million thanks to The Pastry Studio for a job not only well done, but done with such professionalism and creativity! I could not have asked for anything more!

The Pastry Studio make the most wonderful unique and especially tasty cakes. I gave Sherri a picture of both the wedding cake and the grooms cake and she made the exact cake from the picture. She created all and everything I could have asked for.

The Pastry Studio was so easy to work with and they put together my dream wedding cake! The cake was delicious, too.The only thing I would ask them to improve upon is picking up the cake plate at the reception venue the next day because we paid so much for the cake and services.

The pastry studio was truly amazing. The flavors of the cake make my mouth water just thinking about them and the designs are simply spectacular. I went to all of the wedding shows in Central Florida and I met with several other locations and nothing compares to the designs. Each design is unique to each bride, so it just made me feel that much more special that my cake wasn't a replica of someone elses. And my guests are still telling me how much they loved the red velvet. Yum!

I had them do a cake for me for our dinner we had at our home the night before we got married! It was so pretty and everyone loved it! it was sooo good! thanks I will use you again and again!

We only met with Sherry once, and that was to go over what we wanted for our cake. She is horrible in communication, and I wasn't able to finally hear from her until like 2 days before the wedding (I freaked out big time!) Her cakes are very pricey, but they are good!

Caveat: my husband would review this higher than I have.
We spent a great deal of time and effort meeting with the owner regarding the specifics of our cake. We wanted an art cake, not an easy task, and that's why we sought out a professional instead of a run-of-the-mill bakery. We had a concept of three Grecian-style columns (not so thin that it would have been an engineering nightmare for the cake designer, but columns nonetheless) of slightly different heights that showed some crumbling and wear of time - vines had somewhat taken over, water gently trickling down them as if nature had taken over and developed a natural fountain from these man-made structures. We were thinking the columns would be cake of course, the damage and crumbling seemed to be fairly simple and straightforward, some vines intertwined between them, and then the water could be done in sugar. We met, sketched, described, showed pictures, and received assurances that she understood and it would be done. We'd have loved anything close to our concept.

What we got? Three big, thick slabs of cake with cream-colored frosting, some poorly done and uneven (not the on-purpose sort of uneven) detail in gray, and some artificial vines. At least three of our guests thought the cake was a nuclear power plant.

The saving grace and most important thing, however, is that it tasted great. The rest just makes it a good albeit VERY expensive story. Someday we'll appeal to Duff or Mike or one of the cake geniuses on Food Network to bring our vision to life...

Sherri is a pleasure to work with. She is one of those people that just "get it" and can whip up the perfect design, made especially for you, after just minutes of talking with you. I'd trust her to amke a cake masterpiece based on any design theme you give her to work with.
