The Penthouse at C.W. Moore Plaza

Absolutely love loved The Penthouse....everyone was awsome to work with and my wedding was gorgeous! The view was amazing!! I love looking back at the pictures....beautiful:)

Exceptional venue, must plan in advance because of limited availability but staff is very professional, accomodating and was wonderful to work with. Overall, the Penthouse was fantastic, a beautiful location to have our wedding and we would go back in a heartbeat.

This venue was the only place that my husband said yes too. The views are amazing, the best place to see Boise from. My guests were all from out of town, so this was the best way to show them what Boise is all about! Ellen and Alice were helpfull in everystep. They were so patient with everything.

This venue is absolutely perfect!! Ellen and Alice are extraordinarily helpful. It was so very easy to work with them, and would definitely recommend the CW Moore Penthouse to anyone! We got tons of compliments on the venue!

The benches were washed out. I assumed the benches would have been stained prior to my wedding date (April). Everything was great overall. The only exception was the benches- it really made a difference in my wedding pictures by taking the focus. I'm still bummed when I look through our photos

Amazing in ever aspect! If I did have to leave a message, my call was returned the same day! (Same with emails) The venue is gorgeous. It is by far the best wedding venue in the Treasure Valley! And affordable!!! I look at other peoples wedding pictures that spent 2-3 times what the Penthouse costs and the Penthouse always wins. It just doesn't get better.

I had looked at several different places to have my wedding at and when i first saw the penthouse i knew it was the one! The view was amazing and we had many compliments on it. Ellen and Alice were also great and very friendly unlike many places i had looked at. I highly recommended the C.W. Moore Penthouse

Ellen and Alice were so wonderful to work with! These ladies really go out of their way to answer any question and give you peace of mind on your wedding day! The venue was beautiful too! My only advice is make sure you rent some extra chairs if you plan on having more than 75 guests.

Our wedding couldn't have turned out better! We had the ceremony across the street at the C.W. Moore Park, which was a really beautiful setting and plenty of room for out 150 guests. It was 95 degrees on our wedding day (August 7th 2010) and the majority of the guests were able to be seated under the large trees there. There are also electrical outlets for a sound system hookup. After the ceremony, all of the family and friends stayed in the park for pictures and as pictures finished everyone went to the Penthouse for drinks and appetizers while my husband and I had photos taken.

We had dining and dancing upstairs in the Penthouse and you honestly can't beat that view. As the sun set and evening began it really set the mood for dancing under the stars on a warm Idaho summer night. Having our wedding at the C.W. Moore really set the stage and Alice & Ellen were AWESOME to work with!

The staff is very friendly and flexible. Gorgeous Venue and great place to have a wedding!

The staff (Ellen and Alice) Were amazing! They were extremely helpful and even helped finish the wedding favors and a few other details that made the service above and beyond. I truly felt as if they cared about the details of the wedding as well as making sure I was comfortable and eased my mind when I was stressed :) They were very prompt about contacting me whenever I had a question and always kept me up to date on what was going on. Again, I cannot say enough about the staff at CW Moore, wonderful girls and fantastic service!!!

Ellen was great to work with. I was out of town and she always responded quickly to my e-mail. The place was beautiful so was the view. I just wish the space was bigger.

Everything was great! The only unfortunate thing that happened was that our last name was spelled wrong on the sign that people see when they first come in.

This was a beautiful location with a stunning view that was perfect my reception size. I was so confident working with Ellen because she seemd on top of everything and worked with all my vendors to create a day of schedule. The day of, I felt like I had plenty of assistance and they worked to fix any small problems that came about due to weather, etc.

Ellen Weiss, the CW Moore Concierge, was extremely helpful in getting all of the vendors organized, scheduling their set-up and take-down time frames, allowing us access to the building beforehand, and being very attentive to any details that I was concerned about. Not only was she wonderful to work with, but the other staff were exceedingly kind to us as well.

Ellen was always prompt in her response to any email or phone message I gave her and really helped alleviate a lot of the stresses associated with planning a wedding.

Working with the CW Moore Penthouse was the best part of my wedding. The location is perfect, it is close to everything downtown, and they provide parking. As for the penthouse itself, it has a great view from the deck, which is very spacious, and at night the lights are fantastic. Anytime I had a question the girls were very quick to answer. They also make everything from the planning process to the actual day go smoothly!

Ellen and Alice are amazing!! We were so impressed that they were always willing to answer a million questions, let us come in multiple times to check out the venue, and had lots of suggestions and ideas. They went above and beyond their job descriptions and made us feel very comfortable and relaxed. It's obvious that they've done this thousands of times before, but they make every bride feel as if her wedding is the most important. Of all the vendors and people we hired, Alice and Ellen from CW Moore Plaza were the most put-together, professional, and encouraging of them all.
As for CW Moore, you can't beat a better location and view. Our reception flowed from inside to the patio, and our guests danced most of the night overlooking the city. The Plaza has many ideas to make the venue special for your event. The one downside is that the inside does not have dimmer switches on the lights. The bar needed to have some of the overhead lights on, and it made it a little brighter inside than I'd preferred. Other than that, it was perfect.

This wedding venue was absolutely perfect!! It had a great view over downtown Boise and it was beautiful. Ellen was extremely helpful and flexible. They accommodated us for everything. The space is a little small for the price, BUT they make up for it with their other great services. I would definitely recommend this venue to future brides!!

I had a great experience with everyone that works at the Penthouse. Everyone is very friendly and willing to bend over backwards for you. They take care of everything after talking to you and knowing what you want, it made it less stressful for me. It was very clean and they are accommodating. I would recommend them to anyone.

It's tough to beat the great view of Boise from the Penthouse! It was a great spot for our wedding and reception. My only complaint was that we weren't told that the lights inside weren't on a dimmer, so it was way too bright for dancing and cocktails. If we had known that we would have had the dancing outside where we had the ceremony. We also had to do a lot to cover up the deli counter, requires a lot of decor to convert it from a deli to a fun reception space, but totally doable and again, tough to beat the view. The event planner was great to work with.

As a visiting vendor I can honestly say they are not only some of the most nicest people you could ever know but they truly care about each of their clients (couples) wedding day experience.
