Russ was a perfect fit for our event from the start. He was recommended by a friend, and I'm glad we took the advice. Russ was so easy to work with. He met with us at our apartment, was easy to reach by phone or email with any questions we had along the way, and was great at keeping the party going all night at our reception. He played a great variety of music and really fed off the crowd to make sure everyone was having a great time. Even when our event planner interrupted him during announcements, he went with the flow and had everyone laughing along.

The DJ we had selected ended up having a heart attack two weeks before the wedding. My fiance and I absolutely panicked and we were sure that there would be no quality DJ available on two weeks notice. We were absolutely wrong.

Russ and the guys from The Philadelphia Entertainment Co. were fabulous. They did a great job of keeping our guests energized and into the reception. My wife comes from an extremely large family, and they have all been to numerous weddings. We constantly heard throughout the night that ours had been one of the best they had ever been to. There is no doubt in my mind that Russ was a big reason why.

As with any reputable DJ, he was completely open to whatever styles of music we wanted or didn't want. He was able to get our wedding song immediately, which is a feat considering our song is from a somewhat obscure band. They set the proper mood during dinner, and did an overall great job acting as the Master of Ceremony. I would definitely recommend them to anyone else.

Russ and The Philadelphia Entertainment Company exceeded our expectations. They provided Music for our ceremony and reception. Russ was our unofficial master of ceremonies keeping things moving and making sure all our guests had a great time. I never once during the day worried about the music. Russ really kept the crowd interested. We met with Russ before to plan our song selections. Russ was very knowledgable and advised us on different song options. The Philadelphia Entertainment Company made the day run smoothly and allowed us to really enjoy the day.
One of my best wedding memories is when I stood back from the dance floor and watched my guests dancing and enjoying themselves. I was so thankful to see all my guests having a great time thanks to Russ and Joey really reading the crowd and making sure everyone felt welcome. Many of our guests commented how wonderful our DJ was and asked us for his contact information.
We love The Philadelphia Entertainment Company and our only reget is that we did have them photograph our wedding.

Do you have liability insurance?

We are classic DJ's that offer a 20,000 song digital database on state of the art equipment in a very neat and presentable setup.

What is your usual attire?

Suit is usual attire. Tuxedo by request.

If you do not have one of the songs pre-requested by the client, do you require that they provide it?

No. We will make every effort to find your song and have it there for your wedding day.

How many other DJs do you work with?

Five DJ's currently working for the company.

What is the minimum amount of time you will DJ for?

Four (4) hours

Is the client able to meet the DJ before booking?

Recommended. We will sit down with you months before the wedding writing every detail down about your wedding, making sure we have everything.

Do you specialize in any ethnic or international events?

Absolutely! We have done Jewish events, Indian events, Spanish events, just to name a few. Give a call to see if we can fit your needs.

Do you bring your own equipment?

Yes, and only top of the line equipment.

What (if any) special equipment, such as disco balls or lighting, is offered with your service?

Yes, at an additional fee.

How much time do you usually need to set up? Do you require that the site or client provide a table for you to set up on?

We always arrive at a social event one (1) hour before the event, to ensure there are no flaws before start time.

Do you have any extra space requirements?

No.

Do you usually emcee the event or talk between songs?

Yes. We actually "Entertain" the crowd. Fun line dances, a little humor, maybe some party favors, go a long way in helping you remember your special day. We make sure that happens for you. And if you use our photography or videography services, you're guaranteed not to miss a thing.

What is your policy on taking breaks? If you require a meal break, do you require that the client provide your meal?

Not required, but always appreciated.

Will you arrange for recorded music to play during your breaks?

Yes.

What is your backup plan in case you become unavailable on the day of the event?

Yes. We never leave our couple stranded!
