My bouquet stems were not wrapped so i was holding a real stem the whole time. I did not expect the isle flowers to be that small. I was not so happy with the service. I ordered just white roses that is not so hard to find so they could have been a little more generous on the isle decor. It appeared not proportionate to the chairs coz they were small. Not really world the money we spent.

Great! Easy to work with! Great prices! The flowers were perfect and exactly what I wanted! Besty saw my vision and brought it to life!

Betsy from the Plant Shoppe was great! She listened to what I wanted and knew what to suggest if I didn't know something. She was super laid back and had no problem with last minute additions and decisions. She was also very professional and inexpensive for the value of what she did.

I did not get a chance to go and see the flowers the day before the wedding as most of our guests were from out of town, so I was busy with them. I am glad i didn't because it would have just upset me. I wanted LARGE calalilies (single stem for each) of my bridesmaids...they were NOT large. The bows were just tied on a knot, rather than a bow, the toss bouquet was a joke. My bouquet pirced at 100.00 I could have made myself with flowers from Publix for 50.00. I am glad that I did the table centerpieces myself (White roses everywhere) and it was beautiful. She was going to charge me 7.50 to RENT tall 9" square vases, I bought them from a whole sale for 5.00 a piece. I WOULD NOT tell any one to use this florist for their wedding.

Besty was absolutely amazing to work with. She knew more about what I wanted than I did! She provided flowers for both my ceremony and reception. I also rented jars from her for my candy buffet (huge hit at the reception!). My flowers were beautiful and the delivery and pick-up went smoothly. I'm recommending The Plant Shoppe Florist to everyone I know!!! :)

"Perfect!" "Absolutely beautiful!" These words were used by the family and friends who attended our daughter's wedding celebration. A large part of the "beauty" of the evening were the goregous church flowers and plants, created by The Plant Shoppe Florist. The sanctuary decor was a combination of the traditional look and "something more than the usual". Betsey worked with our ideas of what we wanted and what the church had to offer, contributing the "something more than the usual" ideas we needed. She also did the bridal party's flowers- bride's, nine bridesmaids', two flower girls', the groom's, groomsmen's and the family ones' we gave. My daughter was "perfectly" pleased with her "big, flouncy" pink and green bouquet. Our reception was in another location and The Plant Shoppe helped transform the location into "amazing". Betsey worked with us for hours until we had all figured out exactly what my daughter wanted, working with the budget we had and what would work at the facility we were using. After months of planning, the wedding weekend arrived and Betsey made two trips (about two hours) to deliver, set-up and give moral support. The flowers were "perfect". She had totally captured the vision of the look and feel of the wedding we wanted to convey as a gift to our guests. I asked my daughter the day after the wedding, "Were you pleased with how everything turned out?". Her reply was, "Mom, it was everything I've ever dreamed of and a whole bunch more". For me as mother of the bride, that was the most "perfect" answer I could have gotten. Thank you Betsey for all your creative ideas and hard work in creating my daughter's dream wedding.

Betsy at The Plant Shoppe saved my wedding flowers! I was unhappy with the florist I initially booked and made a last minute decision (with the help of Angela from A'vie) to switch florists less than two week before the wedding. I don't live in Gainesville and so at the time I could only speak with Betsy over the phone. She patiently listened to my ideas and sorted through the photos that I sent her. I had, at best, only a vague idea of what I wanted. I had one more meeting with Betsy in Gainesville before the wedding and sorted out the last details. When the flowers arrived they were amazing. It was clear that Betsy had really listened in our meetings and come up with arrangements that I loved. I would recommend The Plant Shoppe to anyone having a wedding in the Gainesville area.

Wow --to a person, every guest we had, commented how beautiful the flowers were. It was all they could talk about. I didn't know exactly what I wanted when we started planning with the Plant Shoppe. Betsy guided me through some choices and styles. We agreed on a color range and general style and then I let the shop come up with the rest! They didn't disappoint. I might add that they also did our save the dates (a very unique flower card that had the date, location, names, etc. on petals),folder invitation and 4 page fan program. Our guests LOVED the stationary. Rave reviews. I've been told people kept the invites to use as examples to others they knew were getting married. Betsy also came up with some creative ideas I hadn't thought of. She provided glow-in-the-dark flip-flops in a tastefully displayed basket on the dance floor. They were in high demand. Everyone's feet hurt at a wedding --they loved ditching the shoes for flip flops. Can't tell you how relaxed I was with her in charge --didn't worry about a thing!

I ordered both my flowers and my invitations through the Plant Shoppe. Betsy, who happens to be the owner, worked with me on both. I described to her what I liked and explained my budget, and she exceeded my expectations. Worked within my budget, she managed to create simple, beautiful arrangements for every table at my reception and create a gorgeous, fresh and natural bouquet. I did have the tiniest problem with my invitations (they were supposed to be printed on white paper, and instead came in on cream, but what the heck - they still looked lovely). Betsy obviously loves what she does - the passion for her work was evident, and I even received a "thank you" from her after the wedding! I enjoyed my experience with the Plant Shoppe and would recommend them to my friends.

Betsy, the owner worked with us and helped us get beautiful flowers on a tight budget. Originally I would have loved for her to have done the centerpieces, but we just could have afforded it. The girls' bouquets and mine were gorgeous!!! The flowers were fresh and she really followed my vision. My husband choose his own flowers for the bouts and they turned out great! She was willing to order tulips from us in bulk so that we could put together our own centerpieces which was really great. It didn't have all the extras that she had put together for her quote, which was a bummer, but they still turned out beautiful.

I put poor Betsy through so many changes! She kept up with me and helpped me visulise my ideas and provided me with samples. I LOVED how everything she did turned out!!

They were very easy to work with, I wanted something simple and I found the most amazing fold out invitation with a tear off postcard reply. I loved it and it saved 25% on postage!

The Plant Shoppe was very helpful working with my budget, and my flowers and decorations were beautiful.

I only had two arrangements and my bridal bouquet done by her but they were absolutely gorgeous. Also, she ordered 30 calla lilies for me to have as decorations. She did not gouge the price because it was a wedding. I found the owner to be the most polite and willing to work with me. She delivered the flowers to the ceremony site a little earlier than expected (which was a HUGE plus). I couldn't imagine going anywhere else!

Betsy and her team at The Plant Shoppe are a delight to work with, and their floral designs are beautiful! I work with many wedding vendors, and Betsy is one of the most consistently excellent, creative and friendly folks I have the pleasure of seeing at events.
