The Plantation Golf & Country Club

As MOB, I can't say enough complimentary words to cover how I feel about The Plantation and Angi Swanson. Angi was a delight to work with from day 1 through the end of the evening of my daughter's recent wedding. Everyone was so very accommodating to our every wish and worked hand-in-hand with our wonderful wedding planner.

The location and weather was perfect for a 4:00 p.m. ceremony outside overlooking the lake and golf course. Our out-of-town and out-of-country guests were very impressed with the beauty of the surroundings and with the decor, the open bar, appetisers and plated meal. I have not heard one negative comment from anyone.

I can't say enough wonderful things about Angi Swanson, and the staff at The Plantation Golf & Country Club. It was a great thing to have the ceremony and the reception in the same place. Ceremony was just beautiful on the balcony. Angi was very detailed oriented, always there to answer any questions big or small. I didn't have to worry about anything. Very accomadating. The support staff was excellant, extremely professional. All our guests couldn't say enough wonderful things about the food, It was fabulous.

Everyone had a great time. Our daughter, Danielle and our new son in law, Justin's wedding was just PERFECT.

Wow.....this was the best venue for a wedding. Not only was the setting beautiful, the food was fabulous! We went with the buffet, or stations and did not hear one complaint, just rave reviews! The staff is so experienced with weddings and made this day perfect. We are still getting compliments on our wedding.

We couldn't have asked for a better choice for our wedding venue. Angi was super helpful with every little detail. They worked with us to create the wedding of our dreams. The decor was beautiful and the food was amazing! I would recommend the Plantation and it's wonderful staff to anyone looking to get married! The clubhouse is beautiful! We had our ceremony & reception there. For the reception - you can choose between a buffet or plated style meal. They have very reasonable priced meal packages. I liked how it was like an all inclusive package. We just had to rent white chairs for the ceremony, get a photographer, cake and a florist.

Todd and Angie were great to work with! They made planning a wedding easy!! Everything went very smooth and I would recommend this location to anyone!!

My husband and I were very impressed the superior service that we received from Todd Blanton and his staff. His assistant Angie was great as well. The staff was there guiding us from the time we booked the venue until our night was over. The day of our wedding there were no worries and the staff took control and made sure everything went off just as we had envisioned. My guests are still commenting on how wonderful the buffet dinner was and that the Snapper dish was the best fish they have ever tasted. The location is perfect for a beautiful ceremony and reception and could not imagine of holding it anywhere else. Once you speak with Todd and his staff you will know that this is the perfect place to hold your special day as well!

The Plantation is beautiful! They are so great to work with- flexible and willing to work with your needs. The best part, in my opinion, is all that's included in the cost. For example, you don't have to pay extra for linens as in many places. The food is fantastic. You won't be disappointed with The Plantation!

When I moved to the Plantation Country Club I knew that my wedding would have to take place there. The venue is just beautiful! The classic decor nicely frames the pictures. The lanai overlooks the golf course. I had both ceremony and reception there.

Working with Mr. Todd Blanton and his staff was always a breeze. He is very professional, polite, unbelievable helpful and very understandable about bride's requirements... it was great to work with him.

My wedding was amazing. The seated dinner was delicious, various drink options available and the staff is the best you can find in SWFL.

I also would like to sincerely thank you Todd for all the help I received while putting together the great party at the Golf Club and the rehearsal at the Somerset Hall.

My friends and family could not been happier with the place I have chosen to live and have my wedding.

My Fiance' and I knew when we walked into the door of the Plantation that this was the spot for our wedding celebration. Todd the Director of Food and beverage was very courteous, informative and helpful every step of the way. It's not everyday you get married and when you do you want everything to be perfect and it was. The staff was attentive, professional and amazing to say the least. The food was beyond delicious our guests are still talking about the entrees and the reception. The food was fresh, hot and uniquely served.It was very fairly priced. The attention that the staff gave to our guests was simply the best service they have ever experienced. I would recommend to anyone who is looking for an elegant, cozy place to celebrate their special occasion with their familiy and friends at this beautiful Country club.

Our wedding day was the most beautiful day thanks to our venue, Plantation. Todd Blanton is wonderful to work with. He is attentive, organized, calm, responsive. The food was fantastic and everyone who attended our wedding are still raving about it. It trully was a wonderful day!!! Mr. Todd Blanton, Food and Beverage Director of the Plantation was wonderful! He was great to work with and these are just a few of the reasons why: extremely knowledgeable, laid back but professional, detailed oriented, efficient, highly organized, hands on, responsive to concerns and wasn't afraid to steer you away from making poor decisions. I felt absolutely confident in his ability to make my daughter's wedding the best day in her life. And for me, a controller type personality and always in charge, this says alot....and, I was absoultely right in his abilities!

As axious and crazed as mother's of the bride and brides to be can be....he was always in control willing to listen but never condescending. It was truly a blessing that we found The Plantation and I would give this beautiful Country Club a 5 star rating in all of the above categories.

My daughter's wedding had a beautiful setting, fantastic food, friendly but professional staff, and there was not a one single thing that went wrong. UNBELIEVABLE!

Todd and his staff at plantation are great to work with and always keep the flow of things right on time. Plantation has a great set up for every aspect of a wedding ceremony and reception. The food is GREAT! We love this venue!

The Plantation is one of my favorite places to shoot weddings, rain or shine! The grounds are breathtaking, and the lobby provides a very elegant backdrop for brides & grooms...you can't go wrong even if the weather does! The food is delicious and the staff is a pleasure to work with.
