The Plantation House

After searching and researching the numerous venues in the Austin area the Plantation House was the place that I knew I would have the wedding of my dreams. Luanna is WONDERFUL!!! She makes your wedding completely stress free where all you worry about is walking down the aisle and is there to assist you . Part of my dress broke at the end of the night and Luanna was right there to do her best to fix it so I would be able to continue with the night. She makes sure everything runs smoothly. The venue is absolutely stunning and the lights at night make for wonderful pictures. I love this venue and HIGHLY encourage brides to consider this venue as your choice! Thank you again to the Coles for making our wedding everything we could have wanted!

LIke most Brides' moms, I spent countless hours searching to find the "perfect" place for my first daughter's wedding. The Plantation House was that "perfect" place. The setting was the most gorgeous garden setting that I had seen anywhere. A text from a friend said it all "...the most beautiful wedding I have ever been to; it was MAGICAL!" Unlike most mother's-of-the-Bride, because Luanna oversaw every detail, I was able to enjoy every second. Luanna was truly a God-send! Besides having an extensive knowledge of any wedding-related issues, she always knew exactly what to do in any situation. We had a large wedding party with 11 bridesmaids & 11 groomsmen. Luanna knew how to make them all shine. It has been several weeks and my husband and I are still getting calls raving about the wedding. We have heard from many in the wedding party stating how beautiful and fun it was. Most importantly, our daughter and new son-in-law could not have been happier! The Plantation House truly made our dream wedding "MAGICAL". Luanna and Norris have created the most beautiful setting. They have set themselves apart from others with their kind, gracious, and sincere demeanor. They made the planning ,of our wedding, a joyful experience. ...Not to mention that my husband and I have gained two life-long friends!

Luanna was amazing she was actually what made us pick the plantation house for our wedding! The plantation house itself was amazing we had so many compliments from our friends and family i couldnt have asked for a better place. she made our wedding run smooth and always made sure me and my husband were taken care of first and foremost! i would reccomend this venue to anyone you wouldn not regret it!

The Plantation House is absolutely gorgeous place.It was the first venue on my list I looked at..honestly the minute I saw it I knew it was it! Luanna was great and very helpful!!!She was there for us every step of the way. We cant thank her enough.

So I have to say this, Louanna is the fairy godmother you have read about since you were a child! Honestly and Truthfully she made my wedding day absolutely perfect on every level. Meeting with her months before the wedding I could see how much she cared about me and her Brides, it really is her ultimate goal to make your day perfect. The Plantation house is breathtaking, and all of my guests couldnt believe its beauty. Louanna had everything set up when I arrived and even helped me out when I lost one of my sand glasses! She had me smiling and laughing all day with no stress (which is saying a LOT for a Bride!!!). Louanna's husband even married us! Talk about a complete package! We were married October 15th, 2010, and that day will always remain perfect in my mind. I would recommend the Plantation House again and again, it completed my fairytale. :) Thank you Louanna for making it perfect, you are the best!!

I loved having my wedding reception at the Plantation House! Even in July, it was absolutely beautiful. We had a large # of guests of a large wedding party, but everything was taken care of and everyone had a wonderful time. Luanna is so sweet, and an absolute pro at what she does!

The Plantation House was wonderful! The beautiful house and all the beautiful flowers, bushes, and trees on the property are breathtaking. Working with Luanna was amazing. She knows exactly what she is doing. She handles the wedding beautifully. The cost was very reasonable. We did not have to do anything but show up and enjoy the entire wedding. Luanna makes you feel so very special and that your wedding is the most important event she has ever done. All you have to do is listen to Luanna and your wedding day will be spectacular! She handles everything! That was very important to me! I wanted to be able to enjoy my daughter's wedding without worry. The Plantation House made that happen!

We really enjoyed working with Luanna while planning our wedding! She was a wealth of knowledge in all aspects of wedding planning. We really appreciated her attention to detail, as well as her attentiveness to our needs. The Plantation House was a beautiful backdrop for our special day. We couldn't have imagined being anywhere else!

Quality of Service: I wish I could rate this a 10! I cannot think of a way our wedding could have turned out more perfect or more beautiful. The Coles go above and beyond what is required of them to make the day of your event run smoothly. Would highly highly recommend.

Responsiveness: Any inquiries we had to make were responded to within 24 hours, even during event weekends.

Professionalism: The Coles were courteous, kind, and very professional - though not so professional that they lost sight of what the day is about. Their professionalism lies in doing everything in their power to make sure you have the best day of your life.

Value for cost: Absolutely worth every penny. The venue, the service, the location - you really can't place a price on the amount of stress that was saved by having our wedding at the Plantation House.

Flexibility: Very - they work with you on your needs. As I was one of their many out of state guests, they were very accommodating to our needs.

I just recently has my wedding reception at Plantation House on May 22nd and I could not be happier how it turned out. Luanna was a joy to work with and was very flexible with us. She ensured that everything ran smoothly and also acted as a day of coordinator. She was extremely professional and always quick to respond to any questions. I have received numerous compliments on the wedding and many have said it is the best wedding they have ever been too! The value of Plantation House is also amazing. The price includes tables, chairs, linens, center pieces (if you want them) and a large floral arrangement in the entry way! Great value, great venue and great people! Check it out for yourself!

if the plantation house is on your list of potential venues you really don't need to look any further. the place itself is absolutely breathtaking, they have really have paid a lot of attention to detail, and i got nothing but an overwhelming amount of compliments on how beautiful the place was. and i didn't even do anything extra...no added decor at all. it's just already that wonderful. beside from that, luanna is simply the best coordinator you could possibly ask for. I had two girfriends get married within 6 months before me and the one thing they both complained about was the coordinator that came with their venue...how much they made things more difficult, messed things up, were unprofessional, etc. Luanna is so on top of things that you will have the easiest time with that part of planning your wedding! I highly, highly recommend the Plantation House. It was largely due to the sheer amazingness of this venue and Luanna herself that my wedding was a dream come true!

I love the atmosphere of the Plantation house. It is gorgeous, and we loved having the ceremony outside!

My wedding was absolutely amazing and it was because of Luanna at The Plantation House that it was! The venue is beautiful inside and out and it is so different than all of the other venues. It is intimate and antique. I have recieved so many compliments of how wonderful and beautiful my wedding was and how organized and together it seemed. I trusted everything to Luanna and she made sure everything was perfect. She offers so much more in her packages than any other venue and she is a blessing to work with. I will remeber her forever!

Luanna is increadible!!!she did everything in her power to make sure our special day was planned to a T!! she did such a good job with keeping eveything flowing as it should. the location was beautiful and the firetruck we brought in fit perfectly across the bridge!! the location just took my breath away and it truly made me feel like I was a princess!!! I want to thank her for that because on that day everything went perfect and it was exactly what i wanted!! It was worth way more than we paid!! she makes all your dreams about your little girl wedding come true! I cant say enough good things about her or husband he was our minister that married us!! he was great! they both put up with our silly games and dress rehersal. and I would like to thank them for truly making it the best day of our lives!!

We had our wedding and reception at The Plantation House on May 29th and we cannot say enough about how great it is there! Our wedding went off without a hitch (at least that I noticed) and I know that is thanks to Luanna and her team. She is one of the sweetest people you come across. We are getting so many compliments from people saying that it was the prettiest wedding they had ever been to. We had such a wonderful time. Luanna is very helpful in planning and we really couldn't have asked for a better wedding day. My husband tells me he wishes we could do it all over again....not to change anything, but because it was just that great :)

I can't say enough wonderful things about The Plantation House as a wedding venue! The owner/operator, Luanna Cole, is one of the sweetest, most organized, most helpful, people in the world. In addition to all the assistance she provided with planning the wedding details, she also acted as the day-of coordinator and made the entire day run flawlessly. All questions were answered promptly, the venue was gorgeous, and I had a ton of compliments on what a fantastic place it was to have a wedding. I was 100% satisfied with the decision to have my wedding here. :)

My husband and I looked at the plantation house and didnt look anymore, we were amazed by the offerings that they had offered us and the scence was amazing. Luanne worked wonders with hurricane Ike falling the day of my wedding. She was a wedding planner and much more. I never was the Bridezilla I could have been with the help of her. She is amazing!! The Plantation House was more than I could have asked for. The Cole's were so amazing to work with, made my day so care-free and my family was raving about my wedding for months after! The Plantation House is so beautiful and the cost for everything blew me away, my Dad was so shocked and so happy that I was spending so little!

The Plantation House was a God send to me for my wedding and all the planning and details that went along with it. Norris and Luanna made everything about my planning process and my wedding day absolutely seamless and perfect. They have and eye for style and class beyond any other vendor I have seen out there. I couldn't have done it without them!

It's been almost 2 years since my wedding and I still think about that special day often. The memory remains fresh in my mind because of the amazing job the Plantation House did! I couldn't have asked for a better experience and I know I will always look back on that day with the greatest joy because everything was perfect! I loved my wedding at The Plantation House! It rained and my outdoor wedding had to be brought inside the house, which I was bummed about at first, but when I arrived to the house, Luanna had the house set up just amazing! It was truley like a dream and was absolutely beautiful! From the very beginning, Luanna helped me to plan a perfect wedding and wanted to give me exactly what I wanted and she did. She is very professional, detailed, and does not miss anything. She is very experienced at planning PERFECT weddings. I can't express how grateful I am to her for making my day so special!!! The Plantation House was the perfect setting for our amazingly, beautiful wedding!!! I couldn't have asked for anything more. They are so kind and they are there to help with every little detail. My wedding day was stress free, they handled everything from the beginning to end. If only I can live the day over and over again.

Everything was sooo pretty. Everyone has said wonderful things about the wedding and no complaints about driving from San Antonio. Luanna was wonderful. The one and only thing I was bummed about was that I wanted to put diamonds on the tables and she wouldn't let me. She was worried about people slipping on them. The tables were fine without them. I was recommend The Plantation House to anyone. It was a wonderful experience.

Plantation House is by far one of our favorite venues in North Austin. You have to visit Plantation House in person to truly appreciate it's southern elegance. Joanna is very warm and welcoming to work with and Pok-e-Jo's loves to cater any Wedding or special event on their property.

I had the good fortune to recently photograph a wedding at the Plantation House. It was a stunning location to photograph. The entire exterior and interior photographed well. The getting ready rooms were rich in color and available light. The ceremony site was beautiful with the house as a backdrop. Luanna was a pleasure and very helpful throughout the day.
