We hired a string trio for our wedding. Sherri was easy to work with, and helped us select great pieces for our wedding. I don't know a lot about classical music, but they helped steer me in the right direction for selections they could play. They help highlight the drama, sweetness and celebration of the ceremony, and did it well. We were very pleased that we decided to hire a string trio for our ceremony.

I can't say enough good things about the quartette accord. Sherry was amazing to work with and was very professional. They have a HUGE repitoire and were even able to accomodate strange song requests. They are a great value and have multiple different options from duo, trio and quartette. We had the trio option and the sound quality was outstanding, even for an outdoor wedding.

They were wonderful! Everyone at the wedding said they were looking around for the speakers. The music was amazing.

Wow they were wonderful! we asked them to play all Beatles music which meant they had to learn a couple of songs (they played 5 Beatles songs) everyone just thought it was amazing. i would recommend them do everyone! The Quartette Accord really made my ceremony classy and fun! I could go on forever on how great they were!

Ceremony music was beautiful, helped wih selections and were very professional. Amount of time played for cost was worth it.

For our ceremony, I wanted a live quartet to set the mood of the evening and provide some light music for guests. I happened to come upon Quartette Accord while doing some online research. First, I found their website www.quartetaccord.com to be quite helpful, with plenty of sound samples and clear hiring details. Second, when I did submit a contact form-I received a reply within a day or two at most. Sherilyn Berger, the group business manager and one of the musicians arranged for a meeting at her home where we discussed and listened to standard collections played by the quartet. Taking her advice, the group trio rather than quartet best fit my ceremony needs-the group also hires duo performers as well.

We had the Quarttette Accord play as the guests arrived, during the ceremony, and during the Hors d'oeuves (transition) time between the ceremony and the reception. They were great musicians and did a wonderful job. Selecting the music was very easy. They have quite a repitore of traditional wedding songs and a few contemporary songs. We listened to the samples they had on their website and then checked out their list to figure out what we wanted. It was a very simple process and she made it easy to communicate via email, since we live in Seattle, WA.
About The Quartette Accord
Members of THE QUARTETTE ACCORD, THE ACCORD TRIO, and THE ACCORD DUO belong to the St. Louis Musicians' Association (local union), and therefore are trained professional free-lance musicians. Our principal violinist and business manager, for example, boasts study with no less than three members of our very own St. Louis Symphony orchestra, as well as four years of study during college years with the concertmaster of the Indianapolis Symphony.
THE QUARTETTE ACCORD itself was established in 1991. However, a good number of the member players have been performing over a much longer period of time. Having been involved in a wide range of musical performance opportunities throughout the St. Louis metropolitan area, we are able to offer you a very high performance level for your wedding or special event.
Organizations/Events for which our members have performed include: Gateway Festival Orchestra, Ballet Orchestra of St. Louis, Muny orchestra at Forest Park, Bach Society of St. Louis, Masterworks Chorale of Belleville IL, Papal mass orchestra 01/99, Pavarotti concert at Kiel Center 02/99, the annual Veiled Prophet Ball, and back-up orchestra for artists such as The Moody Blues, Ray Charles, Manhattan Transfer, and Tony Bennett.
In addition, many of our players teach privately or in public schools and/or perform in community orchestras such as the St. Louis Philharmonic and the Webster Symphony Orchestra.
