Jennifer was able to take our vision and make it a reality! She referred us to some great vendors, manage our massive bridal party and the many personalized details of the planning process. If I were to describe Jennifer, she would be the perfect bridesmaid, loyal, honest, and a dedicated friend who understands the significance of the little things. The wedding was beautiful and all of our guests were amazed with the creative details and how seamlessly the evening transpired. They kept asking who Jennifer was, following with the comments like "She is amazing!" and "What a firecracker, she doesn't stop!" It was truly an affair to remember.

)We contacted her for assistance as a day-of-coordinator, but she provided much more than that. Through her professional contacts and business, we were able to obtain wedding invitations, chairs, and gifts for ushers/best man/matron of honor/reader at a substantial discount. But her services as a coordinator were the best value of all. Every meeting that we had with her was so useful and helped us feel comfortable that we were moving forward and meeting deadlines.

The services received by Jennifer Pearl was amazing. On this very special day for a bride, I will say that the services went beyond just a service. The Rare Affair goes out of their way to make everything a success. Though our services were not a full all out wedding, everything was done as we expected which was great. We had no worries even up to the last minute details. Thank you so much.

My husband and I went through a rollercoaster planning our wedding and Jennifer stuck by us through thick and thin. We CHANGED our wedding date 4 times. She was there for US AT ALL TIMES! Initially we went back and forth on whether or not we wanted to hire a DOC... We knew it was a smart idea since our wedding was going to be across the country, but we had personal and professional experience in party planning and our event was small and short.

We decided just to talk to a few and after striking out with most of them (It seemed like they wanted to take over our wedding), we talked to Jennifer and hit it off immediately. She went above and beyond ALL DOC duties and truly made our day special, organized and most importantly fun for us and our guests.

We both now see how a DOC is just essential and I can't recommend Jennifer enough.

Jennifer Pearl of The Rare Affair was a godsend for us. Her experience and knowledge of vendors was invaluable to facilitate our successful wedding. She would always return calls within 24 hours and went out of her way to make sure that everything was set just the way we wanted. She was very patient with us and gave us great confidence that everything would run smoothly on our wedding day.

On the wedding day, she and her assistant were at the venue the whole time making sure everything ran smoothly. Jennifer's extensive experience and good nature made it a much less stressful experience for us. She was well worth the cost.

Jennifer Pearl and her staff at The Rare Affair are truly exceptional. As a day-of-coordinator, Jennifer reduced my stress levels in the few weeks before my wedding by visiting my venue with me, confirming all of my vendors and developing a wedding day time-line. On the day of my wedding, Jennifer was there to take care of last minute details and organize the general flow of the event. I was able to enjoy my day because I knew my event was in good hands. She even had a steamer on hand for wrinkles! My only regret is that I did not hire her for the whole evening! I cannot recommend Jennifer and her company highly enough. She was truly priceless.

Service and responsiveness was great. From the time I hired Jennifer she was very responsive and made sure everything for the rehearsal and wedding day was confirmed. She was very efficient and made sure everything ran smoothly on my wedding day.

Wonderful help and execution of our wedding. thank you! Jennifer was able to work with what WE wanted, and created a smooth rehearsal and final wedding day! She was attentive and very available even though we had the "least involved" package. Yay!

The Rare Affair really helped my husband and I pull all of our crazy ideas together into something reasonable to afford. We were paying for it ourselves and were on a tight budget. We had a very basic idea of what we wanted for a wedding and did not want it to be traditional at all. We wanted it to be more about the celebration with our friends and family. I tend to be a worry wart and The Rare Affair was always there to answer my questions and do tons of research for me. She even found a barber to come all the way from Boston to Gloucester to give my husband-to-be a surprise straight-razor shave that he has always wanted. She helped to deal with the small family problems that came up and dealt with my vendors wonderfully. She found us a great photographer for our budget and is now working on my sister-in-laws wedding. I highly recommend.

There is no way I could've done the wedding of my dreams without the Rare Affair. It was amazing to have Jennifer Pearl to work with. She knew how to get me everythign I wanted for a great price. If I had to do it all over again, i woudl still use the Rare Affair. I have already recommended her to many others including my sister in law.

Jennifer Pearl was my son and his fiancee wedding consultant and now my daughter wants to use her for her wedding next year after seeing the job Jennifer did for her brother and sister in law. She is organized, fun and made our weekend stress free! She went out of her way to make this a personal adventure for the bride and groom and the wedding party too! We had an absolute blast because we didnt worry about a thing. If we had any questions or problems, Jennifer handled them all. Thanks Jennifer for a wonderful wedding weekend. Jennifer of the Rare Affair was phenomenal and totally worth every penny. From even before our first meeting, she was extremely responsive and extremely helpful. When most of my friends got married, I remember hearing about the planning process and how time intensive and horrible it was. None of them had fun planning, because there was just so many little details to take care of. I can honestly say that I had fun planning my wedding. Jennifer worried about the details and my husband and I got to focus on having fun with the process. She came up with ideas, when we had none. She made every appointment and followed up with every vendor. When we had a question, she had the answer. Whatever I asked for or inquired about, she was able to find, including the most perfect fuschia wedding dress ever, a casino room for the reception and a live action artist! She made things happen and got things from vendors, that I never would have had the time, patience or resources to get.

Not only did she make the planning process smooth and fun filled, the day of the wedding went perfectly as well. Everything was on time and went so smoothly. She took care of us while getting ready, down to making sure we got lunch (she even ordered the room service) and making sure the guys were on time. I didn't have to worry about the vendors since she was there to check on everything. Even when my bustle was stepped on and ripped out, she was right there with a safety pin. I'm sure there were issues that day, but I can honestly say that if there were, I didn't know about them or notice them. And since I didn't have to worry about ANYTHING, I got to enjoy the whole experience, seeing the look on my fathers face during our first dance, dancing with my new husband, and playing craps with friends and family, with not one thought about what needed to get done or checked.

I can't say enough good things about my experience with Jennifer and the Rare Affair. I feel as though we got a deal with all the time, effort and feeling she put into our wedding. At times, I truly felt as though she put as much effort, if not more, into my wedding as she would have her own. Thank you!

Jennifer and her staff are excellent! They are both effective and efficient; they know their stuff and know how to get it done. Working with The Rare Affair is always a pleasure.
