We hired The Groove Shop for our wedding without having heard them live. I think we were the luckiest bride and groom EVER! The Groove Shop was unbelievable. Hands down, the best wedding band ever! They kept the party going from before we even entered the room. We loved hearing the guests having a great time while we were hanging out with the bridal party in the bridal suite. We couldn't wait to get in there and dance with the crowd. Addie, the band's manager, was there to make sure we were always having a good time! Our guests included a lot of professional singers so I knew they would be critical...and they were blown away by the talent of the band. Being a retired professional singer myself, music was very important to me for my wedding. The Groove Shop exceeded all my expectations. Thank you, Addie and The Groove Shop for making my wedding the most memorable night of my life!

I think every bride thinks that their wedding was the greatest wedding to ever occur. But at the end of the day I think the true test of a great wedding...was the food / drink great, was the entertainment lively and the dance floor filled, and was there a ton of energy among the guests.

I think Band selection plays a huge role. Before selecting our band, we met and/or looked at the following:
Kim Sozzi - Creations
Faze 4 bands
Stan Allen
Hank Lane - specifically Bobby Attiko (which we saw at another wedding).
Groove Shop (Silver Pro Entertainment)

We ultimately went with Groove Shop (silver pro) and couldn't have been happier. We had 13 pieces - 4 singers, keyboard, 2 sax, trumpet, trombone, percussionist, guitar, bass, drums. Unbelievable... I wish I could post a snapshot of my facebook page because the day after our wedding, numerous guests wrote how our band was amazing and the one of the best they've ever heard at a wedding.

First - Music. They are attentive to what you want and don't try to oversell. My husband and I like top 40, R&B and hip hop...we were worried about having a band that wouldn't sound like the music we like on the radio. Groove Shop is unbelievable when it comes to this... they will even learn a few songs if they are not in your repetoire. For instance, they learned Ne-Yo / Pitbull - give me everything, Chris Brown - Yeah 3x and played a David Guetta / Kelly Rowland song for us. They are up on the latest music and their singers are unbelievable... you will have the real thing at your wedding. Second - they play through if you want them too which means, they never stick you with an MacBook while they are taking breaks. I've been to a lot of weddings this year and was appalled at how many times I saw this. During mealtime, they play through with softer music and its awesome.

Energy - Nonstop- your party will be on the dance floor all night.

Admin - We worked with Addie from the time we were evaluating bands all the way through to our wedding night. She is amazing and a sweetheart. She handles everything from managing the band to payments to putting together your schedule and playlists. She was awesome and made the whole process stress-free and fun. She was also on hand with the sound people on our wedding night to oversee everything and it was really flawless.

I can't say enough good things about this band and the energy that they brought to the wedding.... there are several reasons why we selected this band over the others but the closest other selection was Bobby Attiko which also puts on an amazing event, but for a significantly higher price. When it comes to talent, everyone in Addie's band is top notch. We highly recommend them if you want to have an awesome party. :)

The GROOVE SHOP was absolutely incredible at our wedding. They kept everyone on the dance floor the ENTIRE night, including us! We could not have asked for more. From the first time we met with Addie Silver, we knew they were our band. She really took the time to get to know us as a couple. They are the perfect mix of personal and professional. I'd recommend the GROOVE SHOP to any future bride.

THE GROOVE SHOP was PHENOMENAL at our wedding 2 weeks ago! We went to see them months earlier at a showcase and knew they were a great band, but the night of the wedding we were simply BLOWN AWAY. They had our whole party on the dance floor the entire night. Not only is the band the best I have ever heard on a musical level, but personality wise as well. They all had a great friendly, fun-loving vibe about them and it felt like they were enjoying themselves as much as my guests. My friends and family are STILL calling to rave about the 'best band they have ever heard' and wanting to book them for their own events. I consider the music to be the most important part of a good party, and THE GROOVE SHOP went above and beyond every expectation I had. They are the nicest, most talented people and I will highly recommend them to ANYONE for their special occaision!

I can't say enough wonderful things about Addie and the members of TGS! They were absolutely fantastic. My guests have told me they've had the most fun at our wedding and TGS was a big part of that! The music was incredible. We also used Metro Stings and a DJ for the after hours party. Super talent and super people!

My husband and I were torn about whether to go with a DJ or a band for our wedding. When we went to an open studio to see The Rhythm Shop perform, within 30 seconds of their first song, my husband turned to me and said "Definitely band- THIS band". We were worried that the band wouldn't sound like the original songs, or that it would be too cheesy, or that people wouldn't dance. Relatives and friends that NEVER dance were up there dancing all night long. My grandparents, who have difficulty walking got up!

David is such a pleasure to work with. We heard lots of great things about him and TRS through various other vendors, but were totally blown away after working with him. Everything met and exceeded our expectations- friends, family, and even other vendors asked us to pass along their information. The band was a true class act and everybody was extremely impressed. I just wish our wedding could have lasted longer so we could enjoy dancing to the great music all night!

The band was amazing and David Silver was very easy to work with. I can't say enought good things about The Rythem Shop/Silver Pro Entertainment. The band was far superior to every other wedding band that met with during the wedding planning. We were asked for a play list,but we left the music up to the band, it was the best decision of the night. Our guests were dancing and having a geat time all night. we hope our friends hire The Rythem Shop for their weddings. We can't wait to see them again.

The Rhythm Shop Band that I used for my wedding by Silver Pro Entertainment was FANTASTIC!!! We had some tough critics coming who didn't believe in bands at weddings because they felt s band couldn't sound like the true singer so it wasn't worth it. Well, David Silver and this band proved everyone wrong. At the end of the night everyone was coming up to us telling us that they felt as if they just attended a concert. Silver Pro's service and quality was spectacular I can not say enough about them. They made my wedding the best night of my life and the dance floor was packed the entire time. Anyone interested in a band for any occasion should choose Silver Pro Entertainment. I fell in love with them from the very first time we met with the owner Dave and have nothing but amazing things to say about them all!

AMAZING!!! That is the one word all my guests were saying about this band. Brian and I were so thrilled, and happy they were there. When my guest said goodbye they kept mentioning the band. Who are they? Where did you get them? Till this day they are topic of conversation. They are all very talented musicians, and they helped make my wedding spectacular. Thank you Dave, and the rest of the Rythym shop. HIGHLY HIGHLY Recommended. You will not be disappointed.

Every penny you spend on this band is worth it! Aside of the venue, it is the most important part of the wedding. Everyone at the wedding fully enjoyed it and had all our guests dancing all night (even the people that usually don't dance). After 6 months, everyone still asks us about them. When planning, just go with what David says...you can't go wrong!
Know how to play some very difficult songs and did a great job with the Gypsy Kings...I am still impressed.

If I could give them more than 5 stars, I would. It's been 4 months since my wedding at the Westmount Country Club in September, and people are STILL talking about the band. I literally mean that - everytime I run into someone that I haven't seen since the wedding the FIRST thing they say to me is that the band was the most amazing band they've ever seen or heard. To that point, since my wedding, I've learned that my co-worker (who I made a recommendation to) and my husband's cousin (who saw them at our wedding) have both booked them for their own affairs. I had another guest tell me they wrote David Silver a personal email telling them how fantastic they were. That really says something when your guests are taking the time to email your band to compliment them. I also witnessed guests at my wedding going up to them at the end of the night to thank them. I think that speaks volumes.

David Silver is so easy to work with. He could run the show with his eyes shut. We had a couple of appointments in his home before hand, filled out some paperwork and then that was it - they took it from there. They don't need to be told what to do or when to do it. They are consummate professionals who clearly take great pride in their work. The dance floor was PACKED all night long. I knew I had the time of my life, but my wedding video shows me that so did everyone else. This is the only band you need to look at - there is no one in the North/Central Jersey area that is any better!

Amazing. That is the only word that describes the Rhythm Shop Band. They truly made my wedding an event to remember, and I cannot tell you how many people have since called me to tell me how much they loved the band!!

Just awesome.... I LOVED this band so much. David - the drummer and founder of the band, is SO nice! My husband and I wanted to have him over for dinner after our wedding. He really knows his stuff. He has so much experience, and they're all exceptional musicians. I can't say enough about how good this band was at my wedding. I saw them at another wedding too, and they were on point. I'm guessing they never have an off night. If you're booking a band, do yourself a favor and go with the Rhythm Shop. Nothing is more important at your wedding than the band or the dj. They run the show, and this band ran my show perfectly. They get the party going and keep it going the whole time. I've been to weddings where there's a decent band, but nobody's dancing. It's sad. At my wedding, EVERYONE was dancing. The band members get out into the crowd and dance with you too. I was so nervous before my wedding, wondering if everything was going to go smoothly. A few weeks before the event, we sat down with David and went through the whole day - when to do certain dances, etc. After that, I was so assured that everything would be great - and it was. BOOK THIS BAND NOW!!!!
