The Riverside Venue

My wedding was perfect! Stephanie Laine was the catering manager and took care of every detail. They work within your budget and make sure your special day is personal. I could not have asked for anything more!

This place is so beautiful inside & out. It provides a rooftop ceremony that is spectacular because it overlooks the historic tarpon springs sponge docks. The room we had for our reception was the Spartan room & it over looks the docks as well as the Anclote River & it was breath taking. Our guests raved at how gorgeous every thing was down to the last bite of food. Stephanie Laine went above & beyond what we expected. She had a lot on her plate from the time we booked her until the day of our wedding. The business decided to open up the Riverside Grill resturaunt & it made getting a hold of Stephanie a little challenging. With that being said every thing else was just PERFECT! From the wait staff to the food to the tables to the linens & chairs just PERFECT! This place & people know exactly how to treat you like a princess on the special day. I highly recommend this place for ANY event because they can deliver!

Riverside Venue was a beautiful place to have the perfect reception. They provided the most wonderful service and helped us with every need right up to the wedding day and I could not have one complaint with everything they have done. We specifically worked with Stephanie and she was more than willing to help every step of the way and was available at any time we needed. The staff was amazing and they all made it the perfect wedding day.

The Riverside Venue was incredibly difficult to work with. The initial event coordinator was fired during our wedding planning, and she wouldn't email us back for days or weeks. We'd email her, and she'd say she thought she responded, but hadn't, blah, blah, blah. It made it initially very frustrating bc we were planning our wedding from out of state. The last thing you want as a bride is to deal with an unorganized venue who isn't responsive or helpful to your needs. The next lady was head over catering, and she was much better. She wasn't terribly timely, but I know she tried to work with us, helped us with set up, and gave us ideas for things we were struggling with. The RV had also promised that we would have the entire downstairs, bar and reception area, but the bar remodeling was not done in time for our wedding [as promised when we signed our contract]. As a result, the RV gave us the bar area upstairs for our cocktail hour and free valet parking. Overall, they were going through a transition time, but it did create a lot of hassle and frustration for us. I do not plan on using that venue in the future for that reason, and would not recommend them to friends.

I used to eat here long ago when it was Pappas' Restaurant, it was beautiful then and is still so beautiful! The atmosphere is wonderful! I highy recommend this venue for your event and the people there are so pleasant work with.

Great venue- has a beautiful deck where you can have your ceremony overlooking the the sponge docks of Tarpon Springs but the thing I like best about the venue is Stephanie. We have known and worked with her for years and she is wonderful. She can guide you every step of the way to ensure that your reception is flawless.
