Heidi and her crew at the Saint Paul Hotel were SO great to work with from start to finish. They were always responsive to emails and phone calls. They worked with me to find the right suite for our wedding night and were always so polite and pleasant to deal with. We had nice little notes welcoming us and congratulating us when we checked in. Our guests raved about their responsiveness for anything that was needed. They were only $40 more per night than the other hotel we used and the guests that stayed at the Saint Paul Hotel had a MUCH more pleasant stay. We also did our Sunday brunch with them, which was perfect. Barb was great to work with to find the right items in our budget and the food was great. The room was set up well so we could eat and mingle as we pleased. I would HIGHLY recommend the Saint Paul Hotel for a wedding night room and a room block!

I had so many people come up to me and thank me for inviting them to my wedding because it was the best wedding they'd ever been to. The food was above and beyond delicious, the ballroom was gorgeous, and Mary Jo (wedding coordinator) is the sweetest, kindest woman to work with who helped me create a dream wedding. NO COMPLAINTS. No one does weddings better than The Saint Paul Hotel.

The St. Paul Hotel was a lovely location to stay on our wedding night! We set up a room rate for our guests in advance and everyone as wowed by the caliber of hotel this was. The rooms were impeccable and the service spectacular. Heidi was our hotel contact throughout the process and she was extremely helpful in answering questions, keeping us up to date on who had booked under our rate reservation and very professional from the get-go. I was very happy with the service and treatment our small group of guests received from them! We will stay there again!

We had a wonderful experience with the Saint Paul Hotel as the location for our wedding reception. The food was wonderful. Mary Jo was beyond professional, kind, and helpful. She helped us create a very memorial night. There is not a thing I would have changed. As nervous out of town wedding planners, we felt calm knowing Mary Jo had everything covered.

My best friend is having her reception here and she has brought the bridesmaids along and we just loved it! She is having a very small and quaint wedding and they had just the perfect size room fo her. They are so amazing and extremely helpful as well. Anytime she has questions they are there to help her out! BEAUTIFUL location and gorgeous reception rooms! So elegant and classy! Love it!

Excellent to work with. Delicious food. Beautiful spot for a wedding reception. I love the Saint Paul Hotel!

Rob and I realized early on that we knew hundreds of people between the two of us, and that planning a wedding of two hundred was not something we were interested in. It was a long battle with our mothers and family, but we explained that we only get married once, and we wanted to be able to enjoy the day and speak to everyone and not feel rushed. We came to an agreement, and then my mother found the Lexington Room at the Saint Paul Hotel that would hold about 50 people. The Saint Paul Hotel is a beautiful place to begin with, and it was glamorous just walking through those front doors and standing in the lobby. The Lexington Room was simple when we saw it on our first visit, but the hotel's event planner had it looking just beautiful for the reception. Beautiful flower centerpieces on each table, and the lighting was perfect. It was the perfect size room for 46 people (the actual number that showed up) and I think anyone looking for a small but elegant setting should consider this place.
They took care of the whole thing, from appetizers to entrées to drinks and deserts. They had a wonderful menu to choose from, and because of the size of our party, they were able to put together a menu that was absolutely delicious. And, more importantly, they were able to accommodate the 4 vegetarians, the 1 vegan, and two other people on special diets!
I loved every second of the day and night, but was so tired at the end that I loved that Rob and I only had to take an elevator to our room rather than get in a car and drive. The room was beautiful, just as beautiful and decadent as the reception room had been. The bed was much more soft and comfortable that the one we have at home. The hotel knew that it was our wedding night, so there was champagne chilling when we arrived, with two champagne glasses, and a bowl of strawberries. We didn't dig into either until the morning. In the morning we had our champagne, and the room service was great, because they were able to take the wedding dress and send it to the cleaners where it would be preserved, and then we were able to stay and have a late checkout. I think it's all about the late checkout!

Guest Lodging: This place is absolutely amazing! We got treated like royalty and had an amazing room, overlooking all of St. Paul. This is a first class, top notch hotel room and service. The beds were so comfortable and pillows were plush. They use Aveda products in their bathrooms, so luxurious. We would definitely recommend this place to anyone. Room service was fast and speedy.

The St. Paul Hotel was EXCELLENT. Mary Jo is on top of everything up to the point where you go in for dinner. From there, she hands it off to Chelsea, who leads the team for the rest of the evening. Seamless! Like clockwork, the food came out, the food was cleaned up, the butlers were excellent. We really have no complaints about the hotel. And, for the price, it exceeded all other hotels in the cities. We compared it to places such as the Hilton and the Holiday Inn. The minimum was the same, but the feel and ambiance of the space was deliciously better. Choose the St. Paul over anything else!

This hotel is so gorgeous and elegant, it can’t be beat. The staff is very helpful and knowledgeable. They also have many different rooms to accommodate different sizes and tastes. Plus since all the rooms are so gorgeous you don’t need to spend a lot extra on decorations.
Their ballroom is beautiful for large size weddings, although a bit expensive. They also have smaller sized rooms, just as nice for less money. However, the fun place I loved is their café. M St. Café in their basement is a very unique and lovely place for the reception with a built in buffet station and built in dance floor area. And it had a surprisingly small minimum. Package includes lovely wedding night suite as well. Great experience.

The St. Paul continued with its usual five-star service. We were met at the door by eager bellhops. Our car was parked in covered parking (there was a blizzard that night) and every amenity was available to us despite the lateness of our arrival. The staff had anticipated our needs and met them unobtrusively and with the utmost of courtesy.
