My wedding was on 2.17.13. I can not say enough about Sand Castle. Everything from the food to the service to the place was amazing. They went above and beyond for us. My guest had an amazing time and most have told me that it was the BEST wedding they have ever been to. I really hope someone else has a wedding here so I can attend as a guest and enjoy everything. The amount of food served was unreal and it was all delicious. They were very attentive and accomodating even with my OCD self lol. Mohammed was a sweetheart. If you are anything like me and want it all The biggest bang for your buck is def at the Sand Castle. If you don't want it all then Sand Castle might not be for you as I believe they only have one package on the weekends. I had the wedding of my dreams thanks to the Sand Castle. As soon as I stepped in the Sand Castle I knew it was where I wanted my wedding to be and I was not mistaken. This place is AMAZING!!!!!!

We had an amazing time at our wedding thanks to Sand Castle. The staff, the service, the food all exceptional and over the top. So many people mentioned it was the best wedding venue they've been to. I think all weddings are perfect but there is just something special about sand castle they really go above and beyond for their brides and grooms. We wanted for nothing that night. They were an absolute pleasure to work with during the planning process! Beyond responsive and I don't think the word "no" is in their vocabulary. I mean we even wanted a custom ice sculpture modeled after our cat!!! Moe, our bm, was really willing to find a way make it happen! We decided to go a more traditional route in the end, but that was just one example of many that shows how their service is unsurpassed. When we went to pick up our things the day after our wedding they sent us home with literally 25 meals and three huge boxes of viennese pastries. Some of our guests told us they were able to wrap up their seconds (yup, every guest is offered a second entree) that night. You really can't beat them. We even pushed our date to off season so we could fit Sand Castle into our budget. They may seem more pricey compared to other venues, but they offer so so much! It's worth it!

I am the father of the bride and feel compelled to leave feedback because feedback is a gift, and this is well deserved, but a small token, compared to the effort and professionalism that was shown on Jan 26th at Jackie's an Joes's wedding. From Mohammed, Brett and Lucas we saw tremendous service and attention to detail for all our guests. I have had so many compliments on your staff's service and cordial offers as well as the quality of food, both at our cocktail hour and our main reception. I cant thank Sand Castle enough for all the preparation and detail that your crew displayed. You know there are a lot of places out there that say a lot of things and make a lot of promises and then fall short of both. Sand Castle, from Dina to Mohammed not only met our expectations but overdelived on all of them! Mohammed, thank you for being so flexible and making things happen.
A final thanks to Joe, who was taking care of me, Jackie and Joe every time we turned around, he is a great asset to the team, great smile and always gave me the thumbs up and asking what we needed, a great kid ! Joe did things above and beyond for me and my buddies during Cocktail in the Veranda. Everyone loved the surprises that Sand Castle had for our guests with both the Martini Bar and the Grand entrance of the new married couple.

I can't say enough positive things about the Sand Castle. We got married there in December of 2012 and it was absolutely amazing. Anything we asked, they did. Mohammed, the maitre d's and the bridal attendents were at our sides all night long making sure everything went perfectly. I couldn't have imagined how perfect everything could have gone. From the second we walked in after our ceremony, the staff at the Sand Castle did everything in their power to please us. I would recommend the Sand Castle to any bride.

Wowwwwww. Love everything about the Sand Caslte. I wish I can have a party every weekend there. My husband ( I have one of those now lol) and I had a great time from planning our wedding to our wedding day with the help of all the staff from the Sand Castle. Everything was beautiful. Every Vendor they recommended to us were amazing. Reverand Johny was awesome. The D.J. had everyone from the 4 year olds to the 80 year old italian men dancing. The Staff at the wedding made everything run smoothly and was right by your side when I or any of our guest needed something. Our guests couldnt believe how there napkins were folded as soon as they put them down. LOL. Our Guest still keep raving about the food. Which we also have some of our guests going to the New Years Eve party because they loved the Sand Castle so much. I felt so relaxed planning our wedding with the staff. Everyone was on point to every single detail that i wanted, which was a lot. Thank You Mohamed, You realy are the best. Thank you to our bridal attendants and Maitre D's, you guys were amazing. I would recommend the Sand Castle to everyone. Thank You for Making our wedding Day as beautiful as possible and for all of your help. We love you guys and had a great time xoxoxo

I LOVE THE SAND CASTLE!!! You cannot go wrong with them. The price is phenomenal, the venue is beautiful, the food is great, and the staff is super helpful. Will and Mohamed did everything they could to make my day unforgettable. I know my guests were really impressed, especially with the amount of food they served. At some places, the staff is stingy with the food, probably because they get to take home the leftovers. This is certainly not the case with SC. A lot of my guests thought that the Cocktail Hour was the Reception because of the amount of food they were given. All of the smaller details (although they were hardly small) made my wedding spectacular: the beautiful veranda where we held the Ceremony, the martini bar that descended from the ceiling during the Cocktail Hour, the rotating platform used for our entrance in the Reception, and the tented ceiling, chandelier, and color-changing lights. During the Reception, they came around with seconds. I will never forget the look of bewilderment on the faces of my family and friends. Where did the servers expect them to put more food? A few hours later, when the Viennese Tables were wheeled out, everyone forced themselves to find room in their bellies. There was so much dessert that many guests filled up a plate with treats, and then came back to fill up a take-away box. My only regret is that I couldn’t enjoy my wedding the way my guests did. I hope one of my cousins gets married there soon so that I can dance and overeat like they did!

Wow! My husband and I don't even know where to begin. During our engagement, the entire Staff at SC assured us that everything would be amazing... And they definitely lived up to their promise! We got married on November 3rd, just a few days after Hurricane Sandy hit NY. We were so stressed out because our guests were, understandably, cancelling left and right. However, SC calmed us down and told us it was our night to be treated like royalty. Everyone raves about our wedding everyday. The waitstaff is so attentive.... No one ever had an empty glass. And NO ONE left hungry!! We had a 7 hour affair.... The food kept coming and it was all delicious! We wish we could go back and do it all again. Some may say that SC is pricey, but it is ABsOLUTELY worth every penny! The greatest part????? 1 wedding at a time! The entire place is yours :)

We were married at the Sand Castle & our day was amazing. Hospitality hour, ceremony, and cocktail hour were wonderful. Cocktail Hour was extensive and delicious. Guests loved all the food & our signature drinks at the martini bar that came down from the ceiling.

Loula was great in letting me & my mother come in a few days before the wedding to set up the hospitality room and lobby exactly as we wanted and took pictures so she could recreate it on the day of. She also located TONS of candles to put everywhere to really set the mood and it made a huge difference.

Experiences that were less than perfect:
- Viennese hour (while guests loved it, I felt there was some to be desired) had too many "cheap" desserts such as tarts & jello... why would you have jello at a wedding? Chocolate fountain, demitasse bar, and zeppolis were great, though.
- Our $1000 custom cake (140 people) was served on a Viennese Table. We were upset that they did not serve it to each guest as usual. We spent so much money and SO many guests did not even get to try it.

All in all it was an amazing day & if I had to do it all over again I would choose the Sand Castle again. If you are looking for a wedding venue that really fulfills all of your requirements the Sand Castle is a great choice, just make sure you iron out all the small details.

Joe - one of the servers - was amazing. My family had nothing but great things to say about him & they are hard to please.


*Castle aspects can be a bit cheesy... they need to update & upgrade those aspects. Get rid of the castle paintings and...

You can't find another place like this on Long Island. The cocktail hour was unsurpassed in the quality and the quantity of the food and the same can be said of the reception. Guest couldn't stop commenting on how delicious everything tasted and the fact that the entire staff was so wonderful, taking care of them (the guests) as soon as the arrived to the moment they left. Everyone left quite impressed and quite full. Can't say enough nice things about Mohammed and his staff. They were just great!

Our wedding was incredible. We held out reception here and it exceeded our expectations. Nearly every guest has told us that it was the best wedding they have ever been too. There were so many extras that were just included here, raw bar, Venetian hour, 7 hour reception (including 1.5 hour cocktail hour, 7 entree choices with chance for seconds....amazing food!). The amount that you receive for the price is incredible. Not a cheap place, but excellent value and when we looked around at places in Suffolk county with friends a few years back we saw places will similar prices but no extras....Venetian hour was $pp, and sushi station was $$ per person, everything had an extra price tag. Sand Castle gave us the total price, including tax and gratuity so we knew what to expect and how to budget. I couldn't have asked for anything more. Before the wedding we were able to taste the food before choosing our menu, anytime we met with Loula or Mohammed they were extremely nice, helpful and accommodating. The service the night of was the same as a really fancy restaurant where napkins are folded immediately and service is present without being annoying. I can't say enough about how impressed I was and how happy we were with our wedding day.

Two of my cousins had a wedding here, different years and this place is beyond great its awesome. I can go on and on. The food n the staff are wonderful. I recommend this place to anyone. When and if I get married I will definitely definitely pick this place. If not for me I will do it for my daughter.

My husband and I had our wedding at the Sand Castle on 8-23-12 its been over a month and all our guest can't stop talking about it wow I must say it was everything we planned and more. All the staff members were excellent top of the line service and our banquet manager Mohamed made sure everything was on point I can't thank them enough for the amazing service we receive we can't wait to go to a wedding at the castle we would recommend the sand castle 100%

OMG!!......this place is AWESOME!!!! Our wedding was amazing and guests have been telling us that it was the best wedding they ever been to. The food was unbelievably good. Most weddings, cocktail hr is okay but reception food isn't.....not this place. Everything was spectacular. Lamb chops were my favorite!! (and i don't even really like lamb) The suspended Martini bar show was incredible and martinis were yummy. The viennese table was like a show of desserts that came out in what seemed to be an endless train. The staff there were very nice and attentive. I've been to a lot of weddings in NYC and Long Island but there has not been a venue where everything was perfect. Usually weddings have both good and bad things about it but not The Sand Castle. There is nothing about this place that I can say was bad....from the food, to the staff, to the decor----everything was perfect and elegant. It's definitely worth the money and then some. Brides do not bother looking at any other venues, seriously this is the best place to have your wedding. You will not have to worry about anything w/ them....they do all the worrying for you. I LOVE LOVE LOVE THE SAND CASTLE!!!!! I only wish that I could have been a guest at my wedding so I could have enjoyed it more. I would pay to attend someone's wedding here, that's how much I loved it.

Were do I begin!!! Me and my husband had such a AWESOME time!!! The staff was amazing!! The food was out of this world!! My guests had such a GREAT time!! Every little detail was taken care of by the AMAZING staff!!

What an amazing wedding. My daughter was married there recently and from the first day we walked in to look at this venue they catered to us and helped us in each step along the way. They made my daughters dream come true. My guests are still calling to say this was the best wedding they ever went to. The whole staff was amazing and Loula was involved with every detail for this wedding and put all the finishing touches. From the minute our guests came to the hospitality to the coctail hour the food was amazing. The service unbelievable. This venue absolutely cares about your special day. The maitre'd was on top of us the whole time to make sure the night is going well. I love this place. I am so happy my daughter had the best wedding ever. THANK YOU SAND CASTLE FOR MAKING MY DAUGHTERS WEDDING A FAIRY TALE.

Our wedding day turned out to be more beautiful than we could have ever imagined and it was all thanks to the sand castle. The service was impeccable, the food was better than any gourmet restaurant, and the atmosphere was just above and beyond gorgeous. My guests are still raving about how perfect everything was. Thank you to the sand castle for making our wedding the most beautiful, memorable day ever!!

I cannot say enough about Sand Castle. They made my day stress free and absolutely the way I always thought it would be. They are flexible, helpful, so polite and really make you feel like your day is the only day that matters during the whole planning process. We had a medical emergency happen the night of my wedding and they were awesome in helping with that situation as well. The food, service, hospitality all exceeded my expectations. I would definately reccommend them.

This is the ultimate fairy tale wedding place!
Each room is more amazing then the next, the place is immaculate! You could eat off the floors at any time. Loula and Mohammed were wonderful to work with, and I'm so sorry my wedding is over that I don't have to call them anymore. The owner was amazing! There was not one issue the day of, everything was perfect, everything ran smoothly and the food was beyond amazing! We had 275 people at our wedding and not one...

This place deserves a perfect 10 and then some!! I could go on and on about this place, it is the most gorgeous place not to mention the staff is so helpful and treats you like royalty on your big day. No guest went a second with out a drink in their hand... I have guests still raving about our wedding... we have been told by every guest that it was by far the best wedding they ever went to!!

Awesome place. Them and the DJ were the best investments we made for our wedding. When we had problems with our limo company, they were on the phone fighting with the limo company. When the limo company didn't show at the end of the night, they had taxis lined up at the exit to bring all my guests back to the hotel. The food was amazing, the atmosphere was amazing. The gave out shots, which is a rare thing at weddings, and were extremely helpful the entire day. My wife LOVED the maitre'd and bridal attendants. They helped her out so much, and we had an amazing honeymoon in Greece.

Sand Castle has the BEST service anyone could possibly ask for. They are utter perfection with their customer service. The food in amazing, their recommended vendors are all fantastic, working with them was truly a joy and they did everything in their power to make me and my husband feel like we were truly on top of the world on our wedding day. Mohammed was our banquet manager and was on top of everything for us. This place is truly amazing. They will make sure your wedding day is the best day of your life.

This place is magical, it was the most beautiful wedding I have ever been to and I'm not just saying that because it was my own. The staff goes above and beyond anything you can imagine, whenever you need something you don't even need to ask because they have already done it. The food is incredible (almost every guest of mine called to say how amazing the food was). If you are thinking of having your wedding here you don't need to go any further, it will defiantly blow your mind away and make your dream wedding come true!!!

Sandcastle Caterers were an absolute pleasure to deal with. I was very nervous about using them because I had never been there before but they went above and beyond what they promised us. The place is beautiful and spotless, the staff is pleasant and professional and the food is AMAZING! Anything we or our guest requested was taken care of immediately! I can't wait to go back there as a guest!

First, FOOD, it was out of this world, you will never have better at any reception. So much food for the money. Very, very nice staff, very attentive and friendly. They gave us food and desserts to take home, helped us with our gifts and gave us a free hotel room. Cake was delicious, room was beautiful. Can't get any better than this place.

AMAZING!!! Food was incredible...out of this world!!! Service was unbelievable...the night of the wedding my husband and I were catered to all night...and not to a point where it was annoying. The entire time we took pictures the staff made sure my entire bridal party had drinks or whatever they needed. Our bridal suite was stocked with every choice of food from the cocktail hour. Anything we needed was readily available to us! They gave us a night at the Garden City Hotel to spend our wedding night at and also chipped in the Dessert Hour...and let me tell you...amazing. Although, I didn't get to eat it b/c I was too busy dancing everyone raved about it! The amount of food they gave my husband and I to take home in boxes was incredible....every dinner choice and boxes and boxes of desserts!! The place was gorgeous, food declicious, service amazing...just overall an amazing place.

Unbelievable! We got way more than we paid for, they bent over backwards to have us as clients. The food was AMAZING! People still talk about it today. Whenever I get an invite for this venue, I go - because it's so wonderful to be a guest here!!
