The Scene!

He kept the people dancing but it was really embarrassing for him to ask me for payment in front of everyone. He could have pulled me to the side. I got a really good deal and if there a song I wanted he had it.

My Dj Mike was great, he was very responsive to everything I wanted.

Great DJ, played what we wanted. Found songs we requested that he didn't have on his list (and some of them were kind of difficult songs to find). Great experence.

I was disappointed with this vendor on a few issues.
1) I spoke with the company several times about paying our final bill and was told they accepted any form of payment. However, when I went to pay with our AmEx card I was told they take everything BUT AmEx. I had to borrow money to pay because we had planned on using that card and then found out we couldn't.
2) I had specifically requested that the DJ's wear dress clothes. This was an area on the request form that the company asks each couple to fill out. Since we had a formal wedding, I felt that at least a tie and dress shirt would be appropriate. However, when the DJ (and apparently his friend) arrived, he was wearing jeans and a polo shirt and the girl that came along with him was wearing jeans and a sweatshirt. Huh?
3) The DJ (and his random friend) was over an hour late! When we called the company to find out where our DJ was, they had no idea what we were talking about. They couldnt find our reservation. Finally, 1/2 hour before the cocktail hour the DJ finally showed up.

That said, he did do a great job during the dance, played the music we requested, and gave us a CD of some of the songs we had requested. We were pleased with how the dance went, but were fairly disappointed with everything else.
