Had our wedding here and couldn't be happier with how everything turned out, the staff was extremely friendly and very helpful
I actually gave them the wrong guest count after the deadline and they refunded me the money right away
We received many compliments on the banquet hall and food
Also know a handful of people who had gotten married at the Seville and all of them were very happy with the venue
Unlike other banquet halls the Seville actually sticks to their word and does exactly what you ask for

In a word... Fabulous! Friends and family told me that this was the best wedding that they ever attended. From a planning perspective, the office staff was very easy to work with. From initial contact, to the event... Communication was prompt and thorough. The food is amongst the best banquet food around, and the sweet table was out of this world! The decor of the hall is current and very elegant.

While I do not plan on getting married again, I will certainly consider The Seville for other banquet needs, and I recommend them to all my friends and family!

The Seville made my daughter's wedding day so pleasurable. We still get compliments from friends and family 2 months after about how wonderful it was. I look back and can't believe how seamless the entire event was and that we need to thank The Seville for! Thank you, Sam, Desiree and Nick!

The Seville was beautiful. The staff was so willing to help out. They quickly responded to any question I would email or call with. The day of Nick was the banquet manager in charge. He was fantastic!!! He was constantly checking with us and our parents to see if we needed anything. Fantastic food, drinks, and service.

I had terrible experience. The owner Sam is wonderful, but the women he has working for him in the front end are terrible and rude. They would never respond back to any email. When I did end up calling to talk to my Sales woman, she was never there and the other women would be rude on the phone. They would also leave me rude messages about when things were due and how email is a terrible way to communicate. But that was one of the only ways as the office never answers the phone and I would have to leave a message. Email is the easiest way when their office hours are crappy and you can't get ahold of anyone. DO NOT HAVE YOUR WEDDING OR ANY OTHER FUNCTION HERE. They are not willing to work with you. They are overpriced for what they offer. It may seem like a good deal, but it isn't.

One of my husband and I's best choices during wedding planning was to choose to hold our reception at The Seville. We checked out about seven other venues in person and many more on the internet before being reminded of The Seville by a friend. When we arrived we immediately loved the decor of the place. It was not old-fashioned or too modern and exactly what we were looking for. The rooms themselves were beautiful as well and were complemented by quality up-lighting which was a wonderful feature you can't really find anywhere else, especially not at that price! The staff we worked with were all wonderful, especially Desiree whom we met on our first visit. They really know what they are doing and it shows. The prices for our Friday reception were outstanding, especially when we looked at what we were getting for our money. The hall was decorated exactly as we wanted with all our requests done perfectly. We had heard great things about the food and the food was fantastic! We had hors d'oeuvres and a sweet table in addition to the main meal and every course was delicious. I wish I had gotten to eat more of it! The servers were so friendly, attentive, and accommodating towards our guests. I strongly recommend that you book with The Seville if you are getting married in the area!

Check this place out!! The food was amazing and if I ever had a question I could email with no problem!! The biggest help was they have a choice of having food delivered at 11pm.. We chose pizza and it was greta and it helped sober the crowd up sue to their amazing martini bar!

We looked at 20 different venues for our reception. We choose the seville because it provided the best food we sampled prior to reserving our room. The facility is beautiful that offers a double staircase in the lobby. The level of upgrades for what we spent was incredible: Hordoeuvres prior to dinner, huge dessert table, martini bar service, any color up lighting around the entire room. The food was great just like the tasting. They Provided us with our own coordinator for the evening. I just want to thank them for a great night

The Seville was an amazing location for my wedding - dream come true!Everyone I talk to tells me how great the food was and how juicy and tender the chicken was - considering I had a chicken dish everyone loved it! The newly remodel entrance/staircase makes a perfect location for pictures -- I loved it!!! The only reason I gave them a 4.9 and not a perfect score was because for a little less than a year I had been working with Diana Bone and she was wonderful best wedding even planner ever!!! However, b/c I was an out of town guest I was unable to meet in person -- but for some odd reason 2 weeks before my wedding the Seville switched me consultants and they were not very helpful - in fact would made me sit on the phone and wait for them while they took care of other calls. If I would have stayed with Diana they would have received a perfect score... the manager I was assigned the day of the wedding to help with cake cutting, food etc -- was Fabolous -- her name was Maria -- she was just excellent always asking me if I needed anything. Overall this place is just plain wonderful -- from the food to the dessert table to the chocolate table... I get guests calling me to tell me how beautiful my wedding was and how well organized etc! I cannot express how thrilled I was to have walked in to my reception and it be everything I wanted it to be! PS. if there are other events going on during your event -- ensure that there are security folks around your entrance -- we did have a few folks try to sneak in to our reception because we had open premium bar and they had a cash bar... so just be mindful -- or have BM/GM on watch. Aside from that perfect!

We recently had our daughters wedding and reception at the Seville. When we arrived no one greeted us, we had to search out someone.
The ceremony room wasn't set up, we did most of the setup ourselves, our guests were arriving and the room wasn't going to be ready. Also they changed to pillar arrangement and didn't tell us, our florist was able to rig some extra bows!
We had arranged to have use of the speakers for music, they did not work!
After waiting for 30 minutes the "AV" person showed up as the bridal party was about to enter. We managed to use our own laptop to play the music.

The hostess assigned to our reception seemed to avoid us.

The food was ok, the coffee was cold and the bartenders said to my guests, "they didn't pay for that", when my guests asked for a different martini other than the 4 specials.
I was told by the office"they will make anything you ask for".

The reception went well and a good time was had once the DJ started to play.

The Seville is a very beautiful venue. The food is great and the price is very affordable. I also feel you get a lot for the price you pay. We had people asking us when the food was going to stop coming out because they were so full. We also had our ceremony at the Seville. The Seville provided decorations to make the ceremony special. The service we received was excellent. Overall I was very satisfied with the Seville.

I absolutely LOVED The Seville! They were on top of everything before and during the wedding. Wonderful staff team! The only reason they did not get an overall 5 rating is because there were some complaints about the bar staff, but I never had a problem with them. Otherwise, everything was great and it was a very stress free experience!

We attended events held at The Seville before and had always been impressed by the quality of their work. When we began looking for reception sites for our wedding they came to thought, however we were hesitant to book with them since all of our previous family weddings had also been held there. They made it easy for us to book with them. the price was the cheapest aroud, they offered the most per package, and they were reliable as we had experienced in the past. They did an amazing job! They assigned us a person to facilitate our night... her name was Maria. She was GREAT! she was so helpful, even helped my mom decorate our cake with flowers! They were truly great to work with.

Just had my wedding there July 17, 2011. The Seville did an amazing job, i got so many compliments on the food. It was delicious! The value was great and they were super flexible with my many silly bride changes. :)

Everything was just wonderful. The Seville made me feel like I did not have to stress or worry about anything. Every little detail they took care of and it all came out so perfect! Our hostess Lory was WONDERFUL as were the rest of the staff that worked our wedding and so was all of the office staff during the planning process! Thanks for everything!

We had our ceremony and reception at the Seville. They were very professional and handled all of our "out of the ordinary" requests. The food was delicious and you definately get the best value here. The setup for the ceremony was beautiful as was dinner.

Highly recommend the Seville. The rooms are beautiful, from the front door to the banquettes to brides room. We received first class services. We had extra services requested that they supplied us without question! The location was centralize for our guest, which worked out great. We were very pleased, and our guest are still talking about our day.

I loved the Seville, very good value for the buck!

The place was exactly how I wanted it to look. My only suggestion would be the staff to be friendlier.

From the time we walked into the gorgeous building the first visit until the time we left after our reception, The Seville was sweet and wonderful.
When the meal started, our personal "coordinator" dropped off some of our appetizers since we didn't get any.
The food was great, and they didn't skimp on it either! All our guests left full.

The Seville was amazing! The service was perfect and the reception was absolutely beautiful. The food was fabulous!! I can't believe the quality of everything for the money that we paid. It was awesome! I would love to have it there all over again. : )

Planned an event for my daughter. If you want a venue that offers great food, and more upgrades at a reasonable rate the Seville is for you. They have Uplighting around the room, Beautiful ceremony setup, extended bar time and a martini bar that is to die for...Dessert tables, chocolate fountain and extraordinary service.

There is no more perfect venue than the Seville for all that you could ever ask for, all included with reasonable pricing!!! The staff was very knowledgeable, accommodating, and very professional! They were prompt at answering any questions I had and made sure everything ran smoothly and was taken care of. They go above and beyond when it comes to what's included: 4-course meal, cake, dessert bar, linens, bar service, bride's room, valet parking, options for centerpieces included, white-glove service, and clean and beautifully decorated facilities! It was awesome and guests couldn't be happier. We keep hearing from our guests how great the food was and how much fun they had! I would recommend The Seville to everyone!

The Seville ended up being the perfect location for my wedding reception. My husband and I were married in Paris, and celebrated with everyone once back in Chicago here. They took my thoughts and ideas and turned it into a dream come true. The room looked better than I could have imagined. I couldn't get enough compliments on the martini bar option, and the food was awesome. For the price, we couldn't ask for anything more.

My only complaint -- at the end of the night, once we had all of our items gathered, not everything was returned. I don't know if it was error due to clean up or what, but picture frames I had purchased to host the menus, etc. were missing. It wasn't a big enough deal to call about, but for any items you are providing for decoration, be warned that some items may mistakenly be thrown out/misplaced at the end of the night.

If you need a venue that is going to help you plan, this is not the place. If you can do almost everything on your own and want to have excellent food for a good price, this is the place. The food was great. We had a lot of guest comment how good it was. Drinks were flowing. OUr server at the head table was fantastic and very helpful. Bridal room was nice. Perfect size for our 120 guests. Great price!! The only issue that I had was the tasting was about 100 people and it was really hard to find someone to answer questions for you. Also you have to wait until like 3 weeks before your wedding to order your cake. Other than that we loved it!

The Seville, from the outside, looks like any ordinary reception hall. However, it is anything from ordinary. You are in awe from the moment you step foot into the building. The decor, winding staircases, and chandeliers are absolutely gorgeous. Our guests are still raving about how exceptionally delicious the food and service was. You definitely get your money's worth and some. It is apparent that the staff at The Seville pride themselves on providing top notch service.

They were amazing! I married my high school sweetheart, and the Seville was where we had our senior prom. The managers were outstanding and always there when we had a question. The prices made us comfortable. Paying for a wedding is never easy, but they made us feel like we were royalty. The room was so beautful with the ice sculptor, chocolate fountain and chair covers. We had the best night!

The Seville was the most cost effect venue. They practically gave us our wedding reception.

I couldn't imagine a more beautiful wedding! The Seville took our breath away!! We never would have thought we would have had such an amazing wedding day! From the ceremony to the reception the Seville did the best job we could have ever asked for. We have beautiful pictures from the lobby and the Seville will always be a place we will use for gatherings in the future! Thanks for everything you did for us, and making our wedding day the best we could have ever dreamed of!

My husband and I had our reception here in 2009. You get a lot for a really good price. They offer great Sunday packages that include a dessert table and ice sculpture. We even had a champagne fountain that we didn't know about until some guests mentioned it a week after the wedding. They're fairly accommodating but that's probably because we did most of the planning and decorating. I had minimal contact with our hostess, Maria, that night but she was very polite and made sure we were taken care of.

The Seville did a wonderful job with our wedding reception. The food was excellent and the cake was delicious. We did have some problems with our wedding count and set cost at the end but everything else worked out great.

We worked really hard to find the perfect place for us, and this really was it. They worked really hard to get our business when it was down to two reception halls, and made it very clear that they'd go the extra mile for us. They threw in a whole bunch of freebies, including a champagne fountain, martini bar, ice sculpture, chocolate fountain among many other things, to make sure that we'd go with them. The food was ridiculously delicious and their service was really great. They were not expensive relative to other reception halls, but my goodness, it was definitely expensive! But then again, it was worth every penny!

The Seville was excellent! A great choice to do weddings! Everyone at my wedding complimented on their food and service. Their Filet Mignon and Shrimp was cooked to perfection!!! Cheryl, my wedding coordinator was awesome!! She took care of me and handled every bit of detail throughout the entire evening at the Seville! I am so pleased with their service, ambiance, staff and food!!!! I would highly recommend this to any bride who is looking for a great deal and great food! The only thing that I would say Brides should lookout for, is a person name Kym who works at the Seville. She was a bitch and does nothing but talk over everyone! So if you are a bride looking for a fight, go to Kym!!! She's horrible!! But everyone else is excellent!!!!!

The Seville was a very good choice for our reception venue. The price was perfect and they offered everything that we wanted. They were not very flexible when it came to adding unexpected guests, but it worked out in the long run. I felt like The Seville could have done a better job of staying in contact with us. It would have been easier if we had the email address of our consultant, but we only had a phone number and she was quite hard to get in touch with. In fact, the person that we originally started with did not continue with us throughout the planning process. Overall, I would recommend this venue to others. :)

The Seville was very accomodating to all our requests. It was a good value for what we got. Our guests were commenting on how much food we had, there was so much!! Also, a very beautiful hall both inside and out!

OMG.... I can't say enough about the how wonderful the staff at the Seville is. Sam the owner, Kim his right hand woman, and the other ladies in the office were GREAT!!!! They worked with my every need, and was very accommodating to me. Everyone one of my guests raved about the service received and how wonderful the food was, and how pleasant the staff was, and how attentive and quick the bartenders were. Lori, our very attentive server for the evening went above and beyond our expectations in providing outstanding service. I LOVE this place and appreciate everything they did for me. I also, recommend them to everyone I know getting married or hosting an event.

This venue was absolutely beautiful and easy to work with. They were prompt returning phone calls and setting up meetings. The food was incredible. Our guests couldn't stop talking about it. Only a few things that were promised to us didn't actually happen, but all in all, it was wonderful.

We loved the Seville - and our guests continue to tell us how please they were with everything at the reception. The food was divine and the service exquisite. Everyone was flexible in the planning - even two beforehand when we needed to make last minute changes! The staff was amazing - the room beautiful and everything was put together for us - so we really just needed to make specific decisions, sit back and enjoy! We would reccomend in a heartbeat - there is no better value for your money! Nothing could have been easier!

This was a great venue for a wedding reception. We were worried because there were 3 weddings going on at once, but it was never a problem! Our head waitress did a kept our head table happy and was on top of everything.

The Seville was really quite a find! We had been searching for a location for our large wedding that would provide many of the services we desired without costing us an arm and a leg (each!)! The Seville met and exceeded our expecatations dramatically-- we were able to have passed appetizers, an open bar, a deliciously large meal, a dessert buffet, etc, without entirely ruining our budget. The day of the wedding ran so smoothly, and our hostess for the evening took excellent care of us (if there were any mishaps, I certainly didn't know about them!) and I was very pleased with how everything turned out!

The Seville had top notch service and were so wonderful to deal with. From my initial consultation with Kim Andres until after my reception was over they were nothing but helpful and wonderful to everyone. The Food was outstanding, the sweet table was amazing, the bartenders serviced very quickly. For what I paid to have my reception I feel like I got the better end of the deal. Every person working there was extremely responsive and professional. If anyone needed something, there was someone who you could find and would respond in a matter of minutes. I highly recommend the Seville if you want to have an outstanding reception on a very reasonable budget.

the service I received from my daay of coordinator was great. Her name was Maria H. She was very nice and went above and beyond. As far as professionalism, I booked the venue with Kim and before I booked she was veyr nice, very responsive and very much the "sales" person. However, once she had my money she became rude anytime I called and had a question. So, I wouldn't let this detour you, but I would request another sales person.

I would recommend The Seville 1000%. They were amazing with making sure our night went perfectly. The service was fabulous, the food was delicious, and the staff was extremely professional. Everyone is very knowledgeable and they were able to answer all the questions and concerns we had up to the day of. We had a large wedding so that's why we spent so much but it was a 5 course meal. They did a great job with the cake as well.

I really enjoyed working with the Seville. They were particularly wonderful on our actual wedding day. We never wanted for anything on the actual day. Overall, my favorite feature of the Seville was the value for the cost. We got married on a Sunday for costs reasons, and the Seville had a wonderful reduced package for Fridays and Sundays that included appetizers and a sweet table which I really enjoyed. They have several size rooms to fit any group (We had about 230 at our reception). They also communicated really well with our DJ and our Photographer once we arrived- wahoo! Occasionally I had to wait a few days to hear back from them- but I was extremely pleased with the service provided. They really know what they are doing at this venue. (I did not have my ceremony at this location).

The Seville did a great job on our wedding day! The service was good and the food was great. They accomodated all of our requests from having whip cream cans on the table to bringing in our own specific kind of beer. They were very prompt with getting things done on time! We enjoyed having our wedding at the Seville!

Our wedding reception was held at The Seville- It was everything we expected it to be and more. The staff catered to my every need, the service was exceptional. I had had a previous family wedding and I thought it was simply beautiful, which is why I chose it as my reception venue. They are true professionals, and know the wedding business very well. The evening went off without a hitch!

The value for cost is unbeatable. Everything I wanted at my wedding reception, was there because of The Seville. Their prices are not elevated, the food is wonderful, and my reception was perfect. Not only do they provide so many different options for each Bride, but the vendors they use are like none other as well. You won't be disappointed!

The Seville was excellent. Our guests were very impressed with the venue itself, as well as the quality and amount of the food we ate. They were extremely pleased with the dessert table and they could not stop talking about the food. Nobody left hungry. When we arrived at The Seville, everything was exactly where I had expected it to be. The room looked wonderful and the service was impeccable.

Overall, I would recommend this place. I had my reception there and to give you an idea of the ups and downs... On the upside, my toss bouquet was left at the church and the person assigned to my room made me a new one out of other flowers. They were extremely affordable - we had an afternoon reception from 11:30 - 5:00, which is longer than most places and they had great packages (which meant a lot of food and open bar with the package)! They even offered chair covers at a reduced rate. As soon as we arrived, the attendant for my room greeted me and gave me a run down of what has happened and time-wise what will happen. She also brought me up to settle me in the bride's room (where they have chocolate covered strawberries and champagne). The attendant also got drinks for the head table. They provided hundreds of options for my cake and I loved it as well as the guests, but we had the cake wrapped for individuals to take home since there was a dessert table in our package. They were flexible with the room choice and center pieces. The downside is that the person who booked us was not clear on everything as we came to find out when we went to go over our contracts again. They forgot to turn the lights on for the head table until maybe an hour or so in. I hate wasting food and my mother asked that we would please wrap up any extras that were going to be thrown out (we would take it to a shelter), but the attendant said she would have to ask the bride and she never did ask me, so she had it ALL thrown out. They were a little pushy as we got around 4:30 to move our stuff out. They actually were packing up carts and moving them out while we were still "partying."

Inside our reception site, The Seville, it is a beautiful place. The outside is a little less romantic with a strip mall next to it. The spiral staircase in the interior is great for photos. They were priced fairly well for what you get. They provided a lot of food- more than you can eat! I was a bit disappointed with the wedding cake options. I wanted more of a contemporary cake. There were a lot of choices, but they were all very traditional. The planners coordinated the occasion and the vendors well. They have three rooms in the venue. Anywhere from 1 to all 3 of them can be rented at one time. We had one room and there was another wedding going on in the next room. There is a general lobby area, and other guests from the other wedding were out there. I didn’t like that it wasn’t completely separate. Otherwise, we were happy with the service they provided and the location features.

The value was amazing! They were so friendly and made my wedding planning much easier for me! I would reccomend to anyone to have their reception here!

They provided wonderful service and food for a very resonable price. The day of the wedding they were very helpful and very attentive to the needs of the wedding party and guests. They even wrapped up the additional food for me after I asked them if i could take it home. They were also very very tackful in handling guests who "over partied".

The Seville is great because it is a nice set up and there is soo much included in the cost. Not only do you get a full 5 course dinner, but you also get an ice sculpter, hour devour, sweet table, champaing toast for all guests, and the cake is included in the price. They were very easy to work with and answered questions with ease. The only complaints that my husband and I had was the tasting was a little chaotic. It is buffet style so you go up and pick out the foods that you think that you might like to have on your day. It helps if you bring 2 or 3 people with you so get other opinions. We also were not very happy with the woman who was assigned to us at dinner. She was not very good about getting us drinks and such during dinner. Other than those two things the experience was great and I would recommend them to those looking for a nice but inexspensive way to celebrate.

ALSO WE HAD A LARGE WEDDING PARTY WHICH THEY WERE ABLE TO ACCOMMODATE. ALSO THEY GIVE YOU CHOICES FOR CENTERPIECES BUT WE WANTED TO BRING OUR OWN STUFF TO PERSONALIZE IT MORE, WHICH THEY HAD NO PROBLEM WITH. THEY WERE SO RESPONSIVE TO OUR NEEDS AND ADJUSTED THE PRICE FOR WHATEVER DIFFERENCES WE HAD. FOR EXAMPLE THEY SERVED THE WEDDING PARTY SPARKLING GRAPE JUICE SINCE I WAS 20 AND MOST OF OUR WEDDING PARTY DIDN'T DRINK. THEY HAVE 3 ROOMS WHICH MAY BE AN ISSUE FOR SOME, BUT IT DIDN'T INTERFERE WITH OUR RECEPTION AT ALL. THEIR LARGE CURVED STAIRCASE IS GREAT FOR PICTURES. I SERIOUSLY RECOMMEND THIS PLACE TO EVERY ONE OF MY FRIENDS GETTING MARRIED IN THE AREA. IT WAS THE BEST EXPERIENCE!!

After 2 years everyone is still talking about the food at my wedding!!!

I was very happy with the whole planning of my wedding with the consaltents. They made it so easy. There was so many extra touches they added into my wedding, i.e. sweet table,ice cream bar,ice scalpture. I was moving away to California and they worked with me to get everything planned before i moved. The day of my wedding was great. The cake tasted so good, so my guest told me. The brides room was so nice, the room was so clean. The only thing that is was unhappy about was the police showed up for the party next door to mine. It was a sweet 16 party, they entered my wedding asking me to get all elderly out. The Seville was past its capacity due to he party next door with unpaid guest. I felt that was not my fault and I should not have been bothered. Other than that I love my wedding day at The Seville!!!

CAN NOT BEAT The BANG FOR THE BUCK!

Everything was fantastic. everything you could hope for for a really good price

The food was just okay. The person who helped book our wedding and design the wedding cake was highly unprofessional, rude, and experiencing some huge emotional problems. The person "in charge" of our wedding reception was eagerly awaiting a tip at the end of the evening and was very pushy about it.

Their prices were wonderful for the quility and options that were provided.

Fabulous place. Totally remodeled. Great food and very large portions. Excellent pricing. They truely made our day special

The Seville was beautiful. We had 350 people attend our wedding, and it cost $10,000 for a full dinner, 2 full bars, wine on all the tables, a cake, and the most insane dessert table. It could not have gone better. It was just amazing. I would recommend this place to anyone!

Overall our experience was good, bu there were a few things that put us off a little. One of the ladies up front was a pain to deal with, but we worked with Kim and she was a doll! Our day of coordinator was wonderful too!

The location was perfect for our reception and could easily accomodate 425 at a sit down dinner. I was a little bit disappointed because there was some construction happening at the facility so it looked a little messy. But the food was fantastic and the price was right--especially because we had our wedding on a Sunday evening!

This is the best place to have a reception and or wedding ceremony. We have gone to a few weddings besides ours and have numerous parties there and they have always been wonderful. I would recommend The Seville to anyone.

We LOVE photographing weddings at the Seville. Our photographers love the beautiful picturesque foyer and the elegant rooms. Their service & staff is outstanding, their food amazing and all in all, a wonderful place to hold your wedding. We highly recommend the Seville.
