When planning our wedding, we tried out a few different caterers and thought we had our mind made up until we tried Jim Lee. The food was so delicious it made us think twice. Jim Lee prices their food very fairly, but their service can be more expensive than other caterers, but I assure you this is for a reason. Sean at Jim Lee is the best! He wasn't our catering manager but he took care of us through the planning process and answered countless questions of mine. We have gotten so many compliments on our wedding food selections and I really think the food was just as good in wedding quantity as when we tried it just us two. They even packed us a to go box so we got to enjoy one more Jim Lee dinner Sunday night. We did experience just a few hiccups along the way, but they were always resolved promptly and professionally. One complaint I do have is that we brought in our own alcohol and got to take home everything not fully consumed and for whatever reason, ended up with nearly 8 bottles of half drank wine. I would just recommend going forward to avoid wasting that the team didn't open so many bottles until others were finished but this is very easy to fix. Overall, I was extremely pleased with Jim Lee and would recommend this caterer to a friend!

Jim, Sean, and everyone at Jim Lee Events are not only extremely kind and professional, but they are over the top when it comes to helpfulness! They will work with your budget, and make an incredible menu for your wedding! We have people still raving about the food a month later!! They also send their own coordinator to your event so that all of their servers, bartenders, etc are organized and ready to go. Cannot recommend them enough!

I got many, many compliments on the food at my wedding. I had some general ideas about what I wanted, and the staff at Jim Lee Events helped me create a fun, delicious menu that appealed to all of my guests. They pretty much can make whatever you ask for, which was nice. But they also offer suggestions if you aren't exactly sure what you want. They offer a tasting of most of your menu items once you have selected a menu. They set up a cute lunch for two and show you how the dish will be presented. They make any adjustments you want and are very flexible. At the reception, they made pretty displays of the buffet tables and everything looks really impressive. It is not a problem if your vendor doesn't have an actual kitchen. The staff is very nice and they will supply a bartender if you need one. They also can supply champagne flutes and the staff will cut your cake. Overall I had a very pleasant experience working with Jim Lee Events and I will highly recommend them! A special shout out to Sean and Rachel, they were the two people I worked with. They were friendly, quick to respond and offered suggestions and alternatives whenever I needed them.

Well just like the rest of the brides have said, this is a great vendor. The price is fantastic and service and responsiveness is great. We dealt with Sean all the way up until the day of the wedding (he's great!) and Rachel was our day of (we met her a week before the meeting) and she was great! She stayed on top of our wedding schedule the night of, was very accommodating - making sure that my husband and I ate and had drinks in our hands all night! :)

They helped with little details that I wasn't expecting like helping us decide how much alcohol to bring, printing directional signs, etc.

My friends and family were VERY complimentary on the food - they were still talking about it weeks after the wedding. :-)

Stop looking, go to their tasting (amazing!) and book them! They'll take care...

Sean & Rachel with Jim Lee Events were amazing to work with. After my meeting with Sean, I left feeling so confident and was sure I was in the right hands. Because I felt so good about our meeting I chose the rest of my vendors from his preffered vendor list. I did my research and got quotes from different djs,photographers,florist ect. But at the end of the day I found these vendors were on his list for a reason. Reasonably priced, very proffesional, courteous, attention to detail just like Jim Lee Events. I think it really helped that they had all worked together before so it made for a smooth night. He showed up at my planning meeting to come up with a back up plan incase it rained and to make sure I was in the loop as far as the set up of tables, chairs, bar ect. It gave me a visual of the wedding night in advance.

Sean always answered my calls and returned my emails right away. Sean helped me with the little things too, how much tequilla to order, how many glasses to order, if I could save money by doing something different with glasses ect... he let me know. I can appreciate that! THE FOOD WAS AMAZING!!! The presentation was great. My guest loved it. My grandfater especially, which really means alot!!! Sean actually came up with the idea to steal me and the groom away to allow us some alone time and a chance to be able to eat together without being interrupted. So sweet! His staff was awesome and Sean was on point all night. I am extremly happy with my decision to use Jim Lee Events for the catering of my wedding! Need great food, Excellent service at a reasonable price that your guest will remember? This is you Caterer :)

Jim Lee was wonderful to work with and went above and beyond to make our special day memorable. Jim, Sean and the whole staff were so easy to work with and get a hold of no matter what time of the day it was. They were very flexible with us in regards to choosing a menu and changing our guest count. They also catered our rehearsal dinner at our home and the two staff members were very professional and friendly to our guests. They set up beautiful flowers at our home and had a great display of the food which our guests were very impressed with.

Our guests raved about the food during the rehearsal dinner, cocktail hour and reception. Sean was such a pleasure to have at the reception. He ensured everything went as planned and was even coordinating with the reception site staff and our DJ in order to minimize any issues from occurring. Sean made sure we had food in our private room so that we could taste the great food and ensure we ate during the reception. Sean also suggested a great signature drink that ALL our guests loved and they kept mentioning it days after the wedding.

Jim Lee without a doubt made our wedding day magnificent and we will definitely be using them for any events we host in the future.

Everything about our wedding was perfect. Jim, Sean, and Rachel are all wonderful to work with. They are professional, flexible, and so nice. The food was amazing and we got great reviews from our friends and family. Our flowers for the ceremony and reception were provided through Jim and they looked fabulous! I couldn't have been happier with the way things turned out. I didn't have to worry about a thing all night. The staff and bartenders were great and on top of it as well. We wanted to do a pinata in honor of Cinco de Mayo and they did a great job with that as well. I love their flexibility.

Rachel was WONDERFUL! I heard all night how great the food was...which is a relief! The whole Jim Lee Events staff was a breeze to work with. Our wedding was perfect!

Jim Lee Events is a fabulous place to use for your catering. We had fajitas served at our wedding, and I was very worried about them being presented in a "classy" way, and Jim Lee Events could not have done a better job. Sean is wonderful. He will always get back to you the same day you call him, and helps with any questions or problems you might have. I got more compliments on the food at my wedding than anything else. The enchiladas and matrini rice served with different sauces were the biggest hit. They also include flowers for the buffet tables, which will help you save money. They are the best at what they do and I highly recommend using them for your wedding or any event!

Sean at Jim Lee Events is wonderful. He is professional and made sure to check with me first when if our wedding planner informed him of any changes. The food was really good and seemed fresh, even for a buffet.

We used Jim Lee Events because they offered us the best price, almost too good to be true, but it was true. We would not have been able to afford our wedding if they had not worked with us so well. The food they served was really good and everyone gave compliments. Their food is made from scratch and you can tell when you taste it. We loved their Ceasar salad the most, were still craving it today! There was plenty of food so nobody went home hungry, and the decorations and set up were all exactly as we had expected. Jim Lee Events did a great job and they helped make our wedding a great event. Their bartenders did a great job too, everyone was happy about their service.

Our food was delicious and the company was so easy to work with. The quality of food and service we received for the price we paid was way more than expected. I would certainly use them again!

I cannot say enough great things about Jim Lee Events, and especially Sean. From the multiple tastings, the multiple revisions leading up to our event, and the outstanding service they provided on the day of. AND THE FOOD IS EXCELLENT! Sean went above and beyond what a caterer is expected to do. After our grand exit, he was even the one with a water bucket making sure everyone put their sparklers in it to prevent a fire. He also stayed after to make sure no personal items were left at the venue by any guests. Most vendors would not go this extra mile, but Sean did!

Our food was so tasty and it looked beautiful too. They offered a very affordable price for a seated dinner. The wait staff and bartenders were extremely friendly and did a great job as well. I have no complaints!

I absolutely loved working with Jim Lee. It started by me inquiring about their facilities at the Starlight Room and ended with me wanting a different venue but using them for sure for the catering. The whole process was smooth with no glitches. There was plenty of food that was delicious and alcohol for everyone. They worked with me cost wise as well as giving me what I wanted quality wise for my guests. I would recommend working with them for not only weddings but any event!

On-time, hot food, cold drinks, amazing waitstaff and coordinator, Rachel. Our only complaint were the sushi rolls that were served. We eat a lot Sushi, so we're super picky, but the rest of the food was fantastic and filling. Jim Lee is super flexible and willing to work with you, within reason, on price. He and his staff are a pleasure to work with.

The food was great. There was more than enough for everyone. We even had more that expected arrive and there was still enough food for everyone. Oh, and their specialty drink that was added as a bonus was superb! and they put together a plate for you and your groom for dinner then another to-go box for you to take when you leave...how awesome is that?!?!!!! I wish I could do it all over again!

Sean & Jim of Jim Lee Events and The Starlight Room are amazing!!! After looking at different venues for our reception we found that the Starlight Room was a unique space & that the food and service was in a league of its own. Sean & Jim covered all bases from the food to the tables, linens, silverware, votive candles, buffet tables, colored lighting, tv's for a dvd slideshow, and a stocked bar that they promise will never run out :) etc etc. Sean Carey was our main point of contact & he made sure everything was perfect from our first taste testing & throughout our wedding day. Not only did they offer us some nice discounts for booking in advance, they also were very responsive to all calls and emails with questions or changes that we wanted to make. We got so many compliments from our guests at how neat the space was and how amazing the food tasted. Everyone had a great time & we want to thank Sean, Jim & all the staff that helped make our wedding so special & memorable.

I would highly recommend Jim Lee Events for any wedding or special occasion. They created the perfect menu for my wedding. It included all of my favorite foods in a unique way. They were more than accommodating before, during and after my wedding. The staff and presentation was impeccable! I only wish I would have used more of their services!

I used these guys for my ceremony and reception sight as well as my caterers! This company is top-notch and I could not have asked for more. People are still raving about the food and how are wedding seemed more like a huge family party versus a traditional wedding. Sean goes out of his way to make sure you have everything you have asked for and he is there from the beginning to the end. I highly recommend this company for any occassion you might have!!!

I had my wedding (both ceremony and reception) at Jim Lee's Starlight Room through Jim Lee Events. In addition to the venue they also provided all the catering and alcohol. The food was amazing!!! Its been a month since my wedding and my guests are still raving about the food and service.

Every request I had was listened to and met. The staff was extremely accommodating and very helpful. Every detail was wonderful from lighting, to tables, to setting up a private dinner for my new husband and I.

We had about 19 different types of heavy appetizers, sushi bar, shrimp, crab cakes, late night snacks of pizza and Kobe Beef sliders and offered an open bar with beer, wine, champagne, our signature drink, soda and coffee!

Gave us a tasting IN ADVANCE of making our selection! It was amazing and I have gotten nothing but compliments on how good the food was. They did a custom monogram on the pastry of the chicken, it was an amazing detail! They worked with us on the alcohol and helped us to make selections to stay in our budget! I can' say enough about how wonderful they are, especially Sean, I would give them 10 stars if I could!!!

These guys were great. We had very unique ideas for our menu and were rather picky about it, and they ended up putting together at least four different estimates for us. They also responded to an email we sent them at 6 pm on a Sunday. The food was fantastic and beautifully presented. Everyone loved it.

I looked everywhere for the perfect caterer and could not be happier with my choice. Sean with Jim Lee made the process a breeze. The presentation and taste was wonderful!

The room acoustics are excellent, and the dj booth opens to the main floor with access from a separate room.

This is an elegant location, perfect for a reception. It is in the West End. The food is quite good and attractively served. The people are friendly and professional. Formerly Planet Hollywood, The Starlight Room has two levels of seating with an open area over the main dance floor and a dome on the ceiling. A bar is located in a separate area near the entrance and a serving room at the back of the first floor could not be better for a buffet line.
