With a background in fashion, style and writing for bridal media (including Better Bridal and Bridology), Yelena brings a fresh, modern approach to creating truly unique weddings. After receiving her undergraduate degrees in Communication and Business from the University of Southern California, she planned large events at a well known PR agency and also worked as a style writer and editor for numerous magazines and online media. The Stylish Soiree is a boutique firm with a team of three professional wedding planners. For weddings and events over 50 people, we always staff a lead planner and assistant planner, the price of which is included in all our packages.
What style of wedding do you specialize in planning?
We specialize in creating stylish, charming weddings packed with creative details and personalized touches. The Stylish Soiree creates weddings that will leave your guests in awe - regardless of your budget.
Do you support or cater to any specific religions?
We support and cater to all religions, including but not limited to Catholic, Christian, Jewish, Mormon, Buddhist, Muslim, Atheist and Agnostic - if you are in love and want to have a beautifully planned, stress-free and gorgeously styled wedding, we're your team!
What sizes of weddings have you coordinated in the past?
We have coordinated weddings and events of over 300 people in the past, though most of our weddings fall in the 100 - 150 person range.

1. Reduce the size of your guest list as much as possible. Once rentals, food, favors, invitations, etc. are added in, each guest can add $100 - $300 to the cost of your wedding.
2. Pick a venue that lets you Bring Your Own Booze. Alcohol is one of the largest expenses for most weddings, and finding a place that lets you bring your own can shave thousands of dollars off your wedding's bottom line.
