We just wanted to take the time to thank you for all that you did for us! Our wedding pictures turned out so beautiful! They are amazing! About the Suitcase Studio
You know that feeling you get when you pick up an old photo from your past and look at it... really LOOK at it, feeling yourself instantly transported back to that exact moment in time? How all the memories come flooding back, and your lips curve
upward into a nostalgic little smile?
THIS is what I strive to capture.
Those precious little memories, caught forever in an image which helps you recall the little details of the moment that otherwise might be forgotten. The intricate details of the day that will probably pass by in a blur. I strive to capture the real events as they unfold… your joyous smiles and little gestures, the emotions of your family and friends, and the thousands of other little moments... all set against the backdrop of your beautiful wedding.
I want to capture the reality that posed pictures tend to hide away.
I see things a little differently than most people. I don't find beauty in perfection. I don't go for the perfectly posed photos, or smiles that have been practiced in the mirrors. Instead, I'm here to capture the REAL stuff... the moments that happen in-between those poses. The imperfect smiles, the nervous laughter, and even that crazy face you make when you think that no one else is watching.
Because it's real life. It doesn't have to be perfect to be beautiful.

What primary photographic style do you identify with?

What do your packages include?
Albums, Digital Files, Flush Mount, High Resolution Images, Prints
Do you have liability insurance?
Yes
Is your media preference film or digital?
Digital only.
Do you guarantee your presence at the actual event?
Yes, I will be the actual photographer of the event.
Do you sometimes book yourself for more than one event in a day? Weekend?
I only take on one event per day, so you know you will receive my full attention.
What kind of equipment do you typically bring with you on the day-of?
My main camera & backup camera, flash, 4 lenses.
Do you bring back-up equipment to the event in case of malfunction?
Yes I do.
Do you charge hourly or full day?
My lowest package includes 5 hours of coverage, but additional hours can be purchased.
Are you available to shoot extra hours? If yes, how much do you charge for extra hours?
Yes, additional hours of coverage at the rate of $200/hour.
What is your policy on taking breaks? If you require a meal break, do you require that the client provide your meal?
I do require a meal break (meal to be provided by client). I don't plan on any other necessary breaks.
Do you charge for travel?
Travel charges may be applied if you are more than 5o miles away from my location.
How soon after the event are the proofs ready for viewing?
Within 4 weeks.
In what format are the initial proofs offered?
Your proofs will be available as images hosted in an online, password-protected gallery.
How long can the client keep the proofs?
The online gallery will be available for 6 months.
Do you retain the copyright for the photos?
Yes, I retain full copyright of the photos.
Do you reserve the right to publish the photos?
Yes, I reserve the right to publish the photos.
Do you provide the digital files and/or negatives (or copies of the negatives) to the client?
Digital files are available for purchase.
Will images be available for viewing online?
Yes, an online gallery will be available for 6 months.
What kind of albums do you offer?
Flush-mount panoramic albums are available.
Additional Advice
Make sure you have a connection with your photographer and feel comfortable around them. They will be with you during the most important and intimate moments of your wedding day. An engagement shoot is a great way to establish that connection and get used to the idea of being in front of a camera.
