We were thrilled with our cake. It looked exactly as we imagined and tasted delicious. The cake tasting was one of the more fun parts of the wedding planning process, especially as Stephen was fantastic to work with. Great communication and responsiveness during the whole process.

Our wedding cake was beautiful, what we asked for, and delivered on time. Everyone loved it, and we could not have been happier.

When selecting our vendor for the cake there was no doubt in my mind we would be using The Sweet Life Bakery.
Our wedding was being planned with a short timeline and when we met with Stephen for a tasting of the cake and icing flavors, he didn't hesitate to reassure us all would be okay for our date. The entire staff was (and has always been) so upbeat, friendly and helpful.
The cake was made exactly to our specifics and our guests raved over the presentation and taste - which is, of course, in our opinion, the best part of a cake.
The Sweet Life Bakery could not be more accommodating to us. We also noticed the entire staff was happy to help every customer in any way while we had lunch there on a separate day.
I would definitely recommend The Sweet Life Bakery to anyone who wants top notch presentation, taste and service.

We used the Sweet Life bakery since we used Running Deer Golf Club for our Wedding venue. The cake was AWESOME. We wanted something a bit different and found the "topsey turvey" cake (like an Alice in Wonderland style) to be our favorite. We made some minor tweaks to the photo that was presented to us during our tasting. On our Wedding day, it was PERFECT! Everyone was raving about it. It tasted absolutely delicious.

Stephen and Jill make a great team. My parents, husband and I met Stephen for a design session a few months before the wedding. The whole bakery was super accommodating the whole time we were there which helped add to the already great experience of cake tasting! We decided to go with cupcakes and a small two tier cake. Stephen helped guide us in the right direction with our color choices and ideas and Jill executed them wonderfully! The cake was so cute and their specialty cupcake flavors are delicious! I definitely recommend the carrot and pumpkin!! I can't wait for our 1st year anniversary cake - we were dancing so much that I didn't get nearly enough of the cake on my wedding day.

I absolutely loved working with the staff at Sweet Life! Jill completely understood my vision for our wedding cake and had incredible input and advice. Our guests referred to our cake as a "piece of art" as well as delicious.

Our wedding cake was included in our package, but we decided to upgrade a bit with the filling (I couldn't get enough of the raspberry!). I thought the price for the upgrade was fair and the cake was delicious! We worked with Jill on the design and since I no nothing about cake design, she was extremely helpful in putting our vision on paper and then into the cake! It was beautiful and very delicious!

I also had the rehearsal dinner dessert from The Sweet Life - we ordered a variety of their delicious cupcakes and I had the groom's cake that night. My husband is an Orioles fan so I asked to have a cake designed into the Orioles bird. It was so great looking and tasted even better!

I absolutely loved my cake from Sweet Life Bakery! I had found lots of pictures I liked, and I was torn between a couple different design concepts. Jill helped me come up with a design that combined elements from both. It turned out so beautiful - even better than I had imagined it! And the cake tasted great too! I loved the flavor options - there were so many icing choices that were delicious, it was hard to choose. We got married at Running Deer Golf Club, so the cake from Sweet Life Bakery came with our package, and I couldn't be happier that it did! We just paid a small upgrade fee to get a square cake rather than a round one, and that was it to get a completely custom made cake. I would highly recommend Sweet Life Bakery! We were so happy with their work!!

I was recommended to Stephen by my bakery who was providing the pastries for my wedding. I met with Stephen only a month before my wedding completely clueless on what I wanted for my groom's cake. He was fantastic in taking the time to meet with me and taking me/another order on a day that he already had completely booked! I can't thank him enough for the perfect/simple cake that my hubby loved!

I had my wedding in Avalon and Sweet Life made my wedding cake. My husband had a very particular cake in mind and Sweet Life did a fantastic job making it look perfect! On top of that, their homemade icing was phenomenal- I had wedding guests asking me repeatedly where I got my cake because it was so delicious and gorgeous. Plus, when I met with the owner, she was very professional and easy going and was super great. I cannot say enough great things about them!

We drove all the way from Ocean City, NJ to Vineland for Sweet Life's reputation- and it was worth it! Everyone loved our cupcake tower with a cake for the bride and groom on top. The cake was amazing! It tasted amazing, it looked amazing, and they had a great variety to choose from. We had about 6 people there when we did our tasting and they were very accommodating, and they even let us schedule the tasting after hours so we didn't have to take off work.

I can say enough how wonderful the service was from Sweet Life Bakery. They were very easy to work with. My husband and I found exactly what we wanted, We were thrilled thay they make there own jams for fillings. I dont know any one who does that. They cakes are not all nasty fondont which I hate. They are beautiful artisticly decorated by Steve and his wife he does use fondont for decorations which were awsome. My cake was everything I expected and very beautiful. Another nice thing Sweet Life Bakery does is on you are not expected to take home the top of the cake and freeze it for a year for your first anniversary. They will call before you first anniversary and make you courtesy anniversary cake. How is that for hgh end service. My first anniversary is a month from today I cant wait.

Cake was beautiful. I gave the owner a picture of what I wanted and he replicated it perfectly. Got a mix of chocolate and vanilla cake with chocolate and vanilla butter cream icing. The chocolate cake was delicious!

I didn't want to pick just one flavor for my wedding so I went with a cupcake cake combo. The 6" and 4" came was perfect for the cake cutting ceremony. My guests were very impressed that I didn't have to make ron in my freezer for 1 year only to eat not great tasting cake one our anniversary. The sweetlife bakery is a great value all around, great looking and tasting cakes and a fresh topper to enjoy on our anniversary. We are so glad that they were part of our big day!

NJ brides and grooms take note!! The Sweet Life was/is a dream come true vendor. My husband and I wanted to support local businesses as much as possible for our wedding and we were thrilled with the results here. Our cakes were absolutely beautiful, delicious, and well within our budget. Stephen delivered the cakes himself the morning of the big day and did a fantastic job decorating them with fresh flowers. We used a small wedding cake for cutting from the company and then had pieces of sheet cake in the same flavor that our guests took home as a favor. We had many guests comment on how moist the cake was, even though they didn't eat it until a day or two later! Also, the owners were really helpful as we tried to decide what design we were looking for in our cake- a wonderful company!

Thank you to everyone at The Sweet Life Bakery for an amazing wedding cake. We were having a Cape May wedding and chose the sweet life bakery to do our wedding cake. Our meeting and tasting went wonderfully. We came up with a great design. At the tasting, well it truly tasted good! All of the choices were delicious. We chose vanilla buttercream icing, vanilla cake, with chocolate ganache filling (sounds good right?) well it was.

I've heard that the cake is always better at the tasting then the actual wedding cake... WRONG.. our Sweet Life's wedding cake was just like the tasting, delicious! The cake was so fresh and moist, and all of our guests loved it. I even saw people wanting and asking for seconds.

The cake was planned and organized well, delivered promptly, and tasted delicious, what more could you ask for?

The Sweet Life Bakery was absolutely amazing!!! They were so easy to work with and had a ton of pictures to browse for inspiration. Not only did our cake look stunning, but it also tasted delicious too! My brother actually ate 5 pieces at the wedding :) I would highly recommend them to anyone in the area!

The Sweet Life Bakery did our cake/cupcakes for our wedding. We went there with colors and a theme and Stephen just went at it. I loved my wedding cake, it tasted great. Unfortunetly when I came back a year later to get my anniversary cake, it tasted nothing like the wedding cake. It was very sweet but they texture was strange, maybe dry? Also the icing had no flavor at all. I was very suprised since as I already said, my wedding cake was so good. Not sure if the bakery changed their ingredients? Just trying to be truthful. Thanks!

They were great with helping us design the cake that went perfectly with our cake topper and our wedding colors. It was beautiful. Most importantly, it was absolutely delicious. The icing was amazing, and they were so artistic using buttercream, not fondant which can taste less than fabulous. We thought he pricing was very reasonable for the quality and caliber of work. The cake was the exact image that I had thought of and it was perfect - he was completely shocked and so happy. We looked at several bakeries for our Wedding Cake and the Sweet Life Bakery was by far the best tasting cake we tried. And even better they were the most reasonably priced bakery as well. We worked with Jill to help design the cake and Stephen was extremely responsive closer to the wedding day to confirm the cake, time, and delivery. The best part of the Sweet Life was the anniversary cake! After a crazy wedding day and scarfing down the cake, it was great to have a second chance to actually enjoy the cake!
