I think this was the most perfect place to hold our wedding reception! Originally we wanted a small wedding, but we both come from big families, and we have so many friends and connections in Indianapolis that our guest list quickly topped 250 guests, not including children, and we wanted to find a place that would accommodate our vision of an elegant evening with great food with the space to hold 250 guests. The Terrance was my father’s idea, and it worked out perfectly because they were available for the date we wanted. We planned the whole wedding with the help of a great event planner from Oasis Events, and they were great about helping us choose a menu and a bar option. One thing that my family really appreciated was how forthcoming they were with all the costs, like for the dance floor and for linens and extra staff. We were given a quote of how much the wedding would cost, and it was accurate and actually a better deal than we found elsewhere. We had a great view of the city, and people had a wonderful time dining and dancing, which was all we wanted from our wedding.

All I can say is WOW!!! Patti and John are amazing people!!!! Everyone loved the food! If I said everything I wanted to I would hae a book published!!! I am sad its over because it was so much fun planning!!! And you can't go wrong with Oasis!!! Its an amazing place to have take care of your food!!!

We had our reception at Market Tower and thought they were amazing! They catered to our highly specialized diet and created delicious recipes, and they also offered us a private tasting for these foods. As far as the wine goes, I'm not sure what one of the previous posters means about it being low quality, since the client gets to choose the beer and wine that is served. Jason, the event coordinator, was incredible to work with, and he was very helpful at every turn. Plus, the venue is absolutely gorgeous.

Very versatile and unique space, great for smaller weddings. I had 85 guests and had both my wedding and reception here it worked out beautifully. They also did my centerpieces and all decorations it was everything i imagined and more!

Patty from Oasis was amazing. Oasis is flexible, accomodating, and they give you a lot of perks. You can use their decorations, vases, mirrors, etc which cuts your costs by a lot. All was awesome!

Working with them was a dream, but in the end it was not worth the cost. They charge a room fee which is steep. They already make a fortune with as much as they charge for liquor and food. The food was okay, not great.

Cons:
- The food was overpriced for the quality. The chicken and beef were both very dry. For the hefty price paid, I expected much higher quality food.
- Wine was low quality
- Little guidance with planning. I wanted some guidance on a timeline of when to get things done (menu, layout, etc.) and was told I could do it whenever. That doesn't help.
- Very slow to return emails
Pros:
- GREAT location downtown
- Beautiful venue
- Final setup was beautiful!
