The Treasured Petal

Kristin did an AMAZING job with our wedding. My jaw literally dropped when I saw our gorgeous, full, lush flower arrangements. As someone who LOVES flowers, I was ecstatic!

After sending her numerous photos of the types of arrangements I liked, we had a meeting to discuss the general mood of the wedding and to bounce around ideas for how the flowers should look. She then sent me a proposal complete with cute hand-drawn mockups of different possible arrangements to allow me to visualize what we had discussed. We instantly booked her without seeing any other florists, because we knew she would do a fantastic job from looking at the work she had done in the past and how she had handled our initially meeting (not only is she a great florist, but she is a genuinely nice, friendly, sweet person!).

She drove all the way to Pasadena (she's located in the OC) for a planning meeting to take a look at our reception location and get a feel for the space. Since I was planning the wedding from across the country, my mom went with our coordinator to her house to check out a mock-up floral arrangement that she had designed. After seeing photos of the arrangement, I gave her a couple suggestions and these were beautifully incorporated. Plus, she was able to perfectly balance the differing opinions of my mother and me (a task that is NOT easy). A couple weeks before the wedding, I had a new idea to have a driftwood head table arrangement - she embraced it fully and it came out exactly as envisioned. From start to finish, everything went so smoothly. At the wedding, I received SO many compliments on the flowers.

Kristin is so gifted with her artistic vision! Both my new husband and I agree, without Kristin's work, our wedding would not have been the same. She literally transformed our venue, and we can't thank her enough. She made my floral dreams come true and I highly highly recommend her!

Kristen is so sweet and a true talent. I met with her and she really understood everything I wanted. She is artistic and doesn't mind doing something different or experimenting. I can't wait to work with her further for my wedding.

I love, love, love Kristin and her gorgeous work! She is such a sweet person and a total professional. Flowers were one of my top priorities for the wedding and my expectations were not just met, but greatly exceeded.

When I walked into the venue on my wedding day, I saw the ceremony arch and started to cry my first tears of the day. I was so overwhelmed with how beautiful everything looked! Kristin delivered exactly what I asked for, but somehow made it better than I ever imagined.

My bouquet was absolutely beautiful!!! I never expected to be the kind of bride that wanted to keep her bouquet, but I couldn't bear to part with it. I actually shed tears the night after the wedding because I knew it was going to wilt away. Pretty silly, I know, but it was so perfect thanks to Kristin that I experienced emotions I didn't anticipate having.

If you are looking for a florist, look no further than The Treasured Petal. Florists don't get better than this!

One of the most jaws dropping at the wedding is the bride, kidding:-)! THE FLOWERS!!!! OMG, they were so beautiful. The Treasured Petal, Kristin, you provided the most stunning flower arrangements I’ve ever seen. My guests and I loved them!

Kristin is lively and genuinely beautiful. Flowers are her fashion! Writing this review made me realized what the meaning of “The Treasured Petal” is. I met up with Kristin to go over the details of how I would picture my wedding should be; the theme colors, the types of arrangements, and OMG, on my wedding day, I just want to keep them all! I especially love and love my bouquet. She did a great job in finding the Amaryllis for my bouquet because it's a holiday's flower, my wedding was on 10/17/09, that's a 50/50 chance!

Kristin provided enough and more, because she treasured her petals, she created a dream come true. My wedding day was beautiful, I received so many compliments on the flowers arrangements, and I would recommend Kristin to all the brides out there whom in search of a dream wedding. Let's the flower be your one less to worry, and lets Kristin enhances your special day!!!

I cannot say enough about Kristin and the beautiful work that she did for our wedding. She went above and beyond for me and my husband and I am so grateful for the work that she did for us. When we had our trial in her studio I couldn't help but cry at the beautiful floral centerpieces that she had done for me. She was able to take a loose idea that I had, and create it even more beautifully than I could ever imagine. My bouquet was full and lush, and even the toss bouqet was stunning with amazing details as well! I couldn't ask for anything more with this fabulously talented woman!

Kristin from the Treasured Petal is truly a floral godess! She has an eye for deisgn, and is so creative she really knows how to pull together a gorgeous wedding. I had met with Kristin at a loal coffee shop, and immediately loved her sweet personality and creative vision. One of the things that really made Kristin stand out is that she sent me a detailed proposal, even included her own hand drawings of what she was invisioning. She also included pictures of specific flowers, since I really do not know much about flowers, let alone recognize all the different names. She was also very cooperative and helpful when I had to do some changes and cut backs to my proposal. She worked with me and found ways to make what I wanted fit within my budget. I was excited to see how it came out on my final day....and I was blown away with how incredible it all looked. She hand picks the most gorgeous, colorful, lush, and stunning flowers you have ever seen. She puts so much thought and love into each of her creations, I feel so lucky to have her on my team. It was stunning, and I am still getting complements on them. I cant wait to get my pictures back so I can post them! I would highly recommend Kristin-- she is wonderful!

Kristin is an amazing florist! She went above and beyond on our wedding. The flowers were so creative and absolutely gorgeous. Our guests still talk about them!

I can't say enough about how beautiful the flowers were and how easy Kristin was to work with. She has a fantastic skill for design and really thinks about the whole aesthetic rather than just the actual flowers. I love how she really sees the beauty in all flowers and doesn't just stick to the same old wedding flowers. It really makes for luscious, elegant arrangements. When I saw the ceremony and reception venues for the first time on my wedding day, I was literally speechless. I had no idea how it actually was going to look when it all came together and it couldn't have been anymore perfect. I would highly recommend Kristin to anyone!

Kristin at The Treasured Petal was the third florist I met with and I was getting worn out from all the meetings... BUT our meeting was FANTASTIC! Actually it was the most fun meeting I’d ever been to! It was like we were old friends joking and laughing, I was actually sad when it was over! Kristin is the only vendor that took the time to draw up examples of her vision for me to review before accepting her proposal.

On our wedding day we were able to see the reception hall before the guests arrived and I was BLOWN AWAY! I felt like I was looking at a bridal magazine ad. Kristin captured my vision PERFECTLY and then ENHANCED it further!

I would recommend The Treasured Petal to anyone looking for a florist! This girl has it going on! Watch out!

Kristin was one of my favorite wedding vendors. I just can’t rave about her enough. I hired her when her business was fairly new but I could tell by looking at her website and conversing by email that she wasn’t new to floral design. After sending her an inquiry about her availability on our date, I received an email back from her with several questions about our vision for the wedding and a genuine interest in winning our business. Then she sent over a complete set of sketches showcasing her ideas.

Being an out-of-state bride, she was one of the vendors that was very understanding of my planning constraints and was willing to hold my date until I could either get home to meet her or hire her without a face-to-face.

What she produced on our wedding day with my small budget was nothing short of amazing. All of the flowers were fresh, lush, and beautiful. She doesn't skimp on anything! I gasped when I took a sneak peek of the reception space on my way to the ceremony. I was so in love with my bouquet that it made the trek to the hotel for 2 days after the wedding, then the plane ride home, and still lasted for another week!

Kristin has gotten popular and she now has minimums but if you can afford her, book her! She is such a sweetheart, extremely caring and talented, and you will love working with her! I wish I could do it all over again, if only to be able to work with Kristin.

I was so incredibly happy with Kristin's work on the day of my wedding. Each and every single arrangement, bouquet, bout, FG basket, altar pieces was above and beyond all that I had envisioned! She thoughtfully put her magic touch on every single one!

I had so many compliments about the floral decor from our guests to the vendors to the actual venue. I spoke with my venue coordinator today and she told me even the front desk and random hotel guests were raving about the arrangements! My guests at the end of the day were fighting over who would take which piece home!

I loved, loved my bouquet! I provided a handkerchief from my hubby's grandmother who passed away a few months before the wedding. She wrapped the handkerchief and made it look so special. Then we drove the 14 hours home from LA to Oregon with the bouquet in the backseat. Three days later it's still alive and kicking!

Kristin's personality is super sweet and warm. I felt like I was talking to an old friend. If you book Kristin, you will not regret it!

The most amazing flower arrangements I have ever seen. Her cost was lower than anyone i interviewed She was by far the vendor that exceeded my expectations the most.

I was so grateful that Kristen was recommended to me. I could not have found a sweeter and more talented florist for my wedding day!! I was having pretty much a blue wedding which isn't the easiest when it comes to flowers and she had great ideas. She was very prompt and on top of everything at our meetings. Even running up to the big day kept in contact with emails all the time. She had great ideas to bring my wedding to life, especially since I didn't have exact ideas on what I wanted, she was so helpful and you can tell really excited about her work!! My flowers that day were beautiful and she could not have been nicer (even my mom commented on how sweet she was)! On top of this all this she was able to stay in my budget (for less then any other florists I met with) and gave detailed sketches on how everything would look so I knew it would turn out wonderfully!

I was so lucky to have found Kristin at the Treasured Petal. I was really starting to think that all florists were either out of price range or didn't quite get what I was saying I wanted. I met with Kristin and right away was amazed with her creative thinking and obvious talent. I love that she drew up some sketches right away and were exactly what I had been picturing and she was able to really work with my budget. She responded quickly to all my emails and was just an absolute pleasure to work with. :) She arrived even before I did the day of the wedding and had everything effortlessly set up and ready to go! The ceremony site was beautiful and all the bouquets were PERFECT! I cannot recommend her highly enough.

After speaking with at least 10 florists around the LA area, I was getting frustrated that nobody seemed to be able to translate the ideas I had into reality (and within my budget). Flowers were very important to me, and I wanted to work with someone who would be as excited about the flowers as I was. Luckily, 4 weeks before my wedding, I was put in touch with Kristin. After a brief phonecall, she sent me a sketch the next day, and I could immediately tell that she had listened to me, understood me, and would create something beautiful out of those ideas. When I got the estimate, I was also very pleased with what she was able to do within my budget. On the day of my wedding, when she came to bring me my bouquet, it brought tears to my eyes - it was perfect! She really went above and beyond and was wonderful to work with. I would recommend Kristin to anyone who wants a a florist with talent and who is personally invested in her work.

Kristin is by far one of my favorite vendors to work with! Not only is her product completely exceptional in every way, but her personality and professionalism are as well! What makes The Treasured Petal stand out, to me as a Coordinator, is her ability to bring in interest and texture into each arrangement and bouquet. She puts her whole heart into everything she does! Since Kristin only takes a select amount of clients per year, it will be sooner than later that brides will be fighting to get their chance to work with her- I'm sure of that!

Kristin is so incredibly creative! I love working with her because I know the end result will be above and beyond every time. She puts her heart and soul into each and every wedding she is a part of, and is an absolute joy to be around.

Kristin is my favorite! Her beautiful, lush designs are so gorgeous you will just want to stare at them all day long. She is super sweet, attentive to her brides and is wonderfully creative. I could not recommend her higher!

Kristin truly puts her heart into every work of art she creates! I eagerly anticipate her pictures and her blog posts because of how much it truly expresses her! If you haven't met Kristin, you may not be able to understand the depth of what I'm talking about... but above all, she works to please her clients and make breath-taking, artistic and unique floral creations.
