The Vineyard Banquet and Conference Center

I was so excited when we first started planning our wedding, we found the perfect reception venue. It has character, not just be big empty hall, and the food was amazing very important to us. We thought everything was ready to, we had the food, decorations, and alcohol all picked out, we just had to give them our final counts. A week before our wedding, our wedding planner, from Signature Milestones, called by fiancée. She told him that she believed the venue was closed, the phones were disconnected and no one was at the sight. No one from The Vineyard ever called us to tell us that they were closed. The day after we found out that they may be closed we stopped by to talk to the owner. She was busy trying to help out another couple who had their wedding scheduled for the next day. She took down our name and phone number and said she would call us in the next couple of days. Well we couldn't exactly wait a couple days for see if we had a reception hall or not. Luckily, the Holiday Inn in Appleton had an opening.We never received a call from The Vineyard. We tried calling a few times, no response. We finally left a message with them and said we wanted our money back or we would take it up the credit card company. We never heard from them again, we disputed it with our credit card and received our money back.If The Vineyard reopens with the same owners I would definitely not recommend them. They were horrible, I don't know what kind of people would do this...not very professional.
