Great experience! Great Staff and excellent service!

We bought my MOH's gown online through www.thewasonline.com after going to their brick & mortar store numerous times to try on bridesmaids gowns, including several trips when we were looking for my wedding gown and were contemplating having a BM gown made in white (yes, they do this!). If you are looking for an intimate, quiet dress experience, stay away! That said, I thought it was great fun to try on dozens of gowns, even if it was quite crowded and we sometimes had to wait for a dressing room. SHaron worked with us on at least two occasions and was very accommodating and patient with us as we tried on a good 40 gowns, total. She measured us, gave us swatch clippings, and told us what the final discount would be if we ordered online, rather than through the shop, which we did. MOH's gown came in within the time period they had told us, and the color is exactly what we expected.

I love this store!! I ordered my bridesmaid dress for my friend's out of town wedding, and the prices were so great that the whole bridal party from Chicago ordered their dresses there too. The ladies in the store were so helpful and great tow work with. I would completely recommend this store to anyone.

I ordered my bridesmaid dresses and my shoes, and got my alterations done here. They were so professional and did exactly what they asked me too!! My dresses were perfect!

The crew at the WAS were great, the helped my bridesmaids select the perfect gowns for each of them. We even presented a list of dresses we wanted to try on and when we went in they had each and every style pulled so that the girls could try them on! They have been extra helpful along the way with last minute items.

The only good thing about them is that you can order dresses online for bridesmaids across the country...But the bads outweigh the goods!

First it started when one of the older ladies that works there basically called my MOH fat, by saying that she shouldn't be able to fit into that size and was amazed that she could.

Second I had another bridesmaid that had moved after the dress was ordered, she emailed them her new address and received a confirmation email back, 2 months before the dresses were set to come in. But then the dress was still shipped to the old address and all they had to say was that "probably one of the new girls messed up". Such a headache!

Third, I wanted to get my bridal gown alterations done and called early Sept. to set up an appt for the beginning of Nov. They told me to call back in October. I called back in October, they said to call at the end of the month. I called again. They then said that there were no appts available..

Pay the little bit extra and go...

I purchased my mother of the groom's dress. They have an enormous number of dresses to choose from and were very helpful in providing me with about a dozen flattering 'finalists' to try on. They were honest in providing feedback and the dress fits perfectly after being altered. I would definitely return here for another special occassion dre..

You would think this would not be a problem, however, today is 11/12/12 and still no dress.
I have never once received a phone call or email about the dress status, and have had to follow up myself.
I was also told there are NO refunds, regardless of situation. I would not recommend this store to anyone!!!!

What the vendor replied below is incorrect. I was NOT informed of any updates to the dress status, the only time I had contact was when I called or emailed myself. I have all the emails as well, and the wedding was only cancelled a few weeks before the event. I was informed the dress was in the store only after it was 3 weeks late, was told they would hold it there and return my shipping charge, and then emailed a few hours later that it was 'accidentally shipped' and they would not refund my charge. To suggest that I am 'being negative' is an understatement- I am trying to help other customers understand my terrible experience, and to warn them away from ordering a dress from a store that will not get it there in time.
Take a look at the other negative reviews on this site and others- there seems to be a trend. I am not the only one who has had this experience.

Working with Kim on my invitations was wonderful! She was so helpful and knowledgeable about the process. She had a million examples to look at, so I had a great idea of what to order. My invitations were beautiful, and a great price as well! I also found beautiful accessories for my wedding dress. I brought my dress to the store, and they helped me try everything on until I found the perfect match. I would definitely recommend this store to brides!

If you need anything for a wedding this is the place to go! They literally have everything! We got our invitations through WAS and the guys rented their tuxes through here as well. Kim is wonderful! My husband and I know her outside of the store and she is a delight to work with inside the store as well. Our invitations came out perfect and everyone complimented me on how beautiful they were. I loved picked out the tuxes for the guys because there are so many options to personalize them and add your own touch! All the women were great to work with and we felt very welcome!

I literally got everything for my wedding here aside from the dresses and that's only because I found them before I found the store. You can seriously find everything here from your save the dates and invitations to your ceremony accessories. My mom got her dress here too and she looked phenomenal and the woman that helped her Vickie was fantastic and really helps women get out of their comfort zone and try on dresses they may not have even thought of before and really knows what she is talking about. I also ordered my invitations through them and they were gorgeous. Seriously, I already got married and people still tell me how beautiful my invitations were. I went and looked at them probably 4 times and Kim was so nice about dealing with me and my family the whole time and helped me find the perfect invites. She even picked out my save the dates which were adorable! I recommend this store to every bride looking to find everything for her dream wedding.

My biggest complaint with this company was how rude they were, actually just the owner Kim, I spoke with her twice throughout my whole experiance and she basically told me what I was saying was not true. I had called several times but because she didnt get the messages I apparently didnt call, and the second time I had been getting time estimates (I have emails) and she told me that I had not been getting any.

As a client a manager should never tell you that you didnt do something, your basically called your clients that they are lying, how is this supposed to make them feel?

I would not suggest this company to anyone-the time of getting married should be a happy one and this was anything BUT.

Let me start by saying that the WAS seems to be perpetually understaffed, which leads to a general Aura of oddness. That being said, the word SUPERSTORE is an accurate description if you are shopping for a veil, headpiece, jewelry, or shoes, they have TONS of options. Its kind of a small space for the amount of stuff they have too, so keep your eyes peeled and make sure to bring someone to help.

I would highly recommend getting on the mailing list and going in on a Saturday when they are having a big sale. Not only will you get ridiculous deals, but they also have free cake, every Saturday :)

I am serious about the deals.... look for the neon orange tags. We found a silver stitched and beaded veil in a different store for $200, I bought it at WAS for $31. And a sterling silver headband with feathers, pearls, crystals and sequins... $129 elsewhere? I paid $11 at WAS!!!!!!

I can vouch for the alterations department, not only do I get my evening gowns altered at WAS, my bridesmaids all had their dresses done there as well.

bought my mother of the bride dress at the superstore and had an amazing experience. The sales people were professional, patient and very flexible when I needed to switch the dress I had ordered. I would recommend using this store as the selection is terrific!

I have mixed feeling about this store. We went in looking for bridesmaid dresses and were directed to the website for ordering as the prices were significantly lower on their site. Great and true, in some cases the online prices were almost half what you would pay if the dress was purchased in the store.

The store was overwhelming, but not in a bad way... just in a crazy bridal world kind of way. They have anything you can really imagine and some things you never thought of. I could have spent hours in there just wandering through all the stuff.

The staff in the store the day we went in were friendly and helpful enough. Prior to placing the order, the level of service was still pretty good. But there were issues with the communication we received from the store after placing the order (the dresses ended up coming in so late that all alterations had to be rushed and my MOH didn't get her dress back until two days before the wedding).

When the delays came about and we started speaking with the owner (Kim) it got really bad. She was downright rude on the phone several times and even started telling lies about when the dresses would ship (she would tell us they would ship out one day but we would find out it was actually up to a week later than she promised).

The price of the dresses definitely cannot be beat - believe me I looked - but the stress that went along with getting them and the attitude that was received later on in the process from the owner of the store would definitely make me hesitate before recommending them to anyone. I will say that most of the staff we spoke to in the process were friendly and helpful enough, but the experience with Kim was enough to sour the entire experience.

Everyone in the store was extremely helpful and friendly. They went out of their way to help me receive the items I was looking for at a great price. Would recommend them to anyone looking for a wonderful shopping experience.

Since I am a 'mature' bride and this is my second (and last) wedding, I didn't want a typical long white bridal gown with veil, etc. I had something in mind that would be tea length and grey. The staff at The Wedding Accessory Superstore were very helpful in finding me exactly what I needed. Originally I was leaning toward a dress, when one of the sales staff brought out something different and convinced me to try it on. The dress was actually strapless (which I didn't want) and I didn't think the style would suit me, but I tried it on and she was absolutely right! The dress was a shimmery silver and I ordered extra material (which I didn't even know was possible) to have short shrug made to match and the effect was stunning. And to make things even better it was on sale! We also bought the dresses for my sister (MOH) and my mother and theirs were beautiful as well. Turned out that mine was actually the least expensive of all three. When my son gets married, we are all going back to WAS for our dresses!

The wedding accessory super store was awesome! I went there the first time for my wedding shoes, designer and stunning, and 90% off. Love them! Then we went back for invitations, tux rentals for the boys, gowns for Mom, alterations for my gown and lots more that I can't remember.

Everyone at the store was super nice and helpful and made it a pleasure to go there. They have great merchandise, even better prices, and best of all talented, knowledgeable and helpful staff. I highly recommend everyone getting married stop in and check out the store, you'll be so happy you did.

Did my invites here! The owner was fantastic to work with and it really worked well with my budget, especially since I had 175 invites I needed to order/send out. She really helped with the wording and other protocol that I was nervous about. Even though it isn't a fancy boutique shop, it felt like it with so much one on one attention.

THE BEST EXPERIENCE I'VE EVER HAD! I came here to purchase a formal for a New Year's Eve gala, and wished I had come here for my own wedding! I had considered going to another popular store in downtown Phoenix, but since this one was closer decided to start here - am I ever glad I did! Not only is the dress selection supurb, but their prices cannot be beat, and the service is OUTSTANDING. They took time to really understand what I was looking for in order to help out in my search - they even shared some fudge that an employee had brought in :-) Their alterations person was incredible - she also took time to understand my vision for my gown, and even added some finishing touches that really made it "me". I would send anyone I've ever met to this place - they truly understand what great service is!!!

This is the best place for all your wedding needs. We got almost all of our wedding needs here. They have great prices and accessories. We even found the bridesmaid and mother of the bride dress there. The owner Kim is great!

We couldn't have planned the perfect wedding without the help of these ladies. Their selection of bridesmaid dresses was the best and most of the girls were out of town so ordering online was not only the best value, but simple. They also had the best and affordable selection of Mother of the Bride dresses. Vicki was so helpful in making a decision and ordering the correct size to arrive on time. Kim was awesome in helping select the invitations and understanding what we were looking for. She spent many hours with us in designing the perfect invitation. When some of our envelopes arrived with incorrect addresses, she was on top of having them corrected and sent overnite to us. Kim was also so helpful in selecting placecards, menu cards, programs and favors. Shelly could not have been nicer in helping select the perfect tuxedos. She even ordered in samples for the groom to get a better idea of what he liked. The other sales professionals were so patient when it came time to selecting the perfect dress for our 3 flower girls. We also bought earrings and hair accessories online at great prices. THIS IS DEFINITELY THE ONE STOP WEDDING STORE.. We highly recommend them.....

The wedding accessory store was wonderful to work with! Kim was a huge help with the invitations, napkins, out of town bags, and gave great advice. Vicki got all my bridesmaids set up with dresses at a great price. I had some bridesmaids in Chicago and they had no problem receiving their dresses and ordering the correct size. We also got our tux's through them which turned out great!! They have the best prices and are very professional! I strongly recommend them.

We ordered our bridesmaid dresses in June, we were told to order on line to save money and add a size to the dresses to make sure they fit since they run small.
It has been four months and still no dresses, the wedding is in 3 weeks. The associates at the store have never called once to follow up and we have to call everyday asking where the dresses are. They are very rude and unprofessional. we ordered 7 dresses. I pray and hope thay are here on time for alterations and the WEDDING for that matter.
This place is a joke the owner is rude and unprofessional. They are disorganized and I would not reccomend them to anyone.
I wil follow up once I recieve the dresses and give you all an update.

This store has a ton of stuff for weddings. However, they messed up my shoe order three times, messed up my press and prep order twice and had a lack of organization all around.

I ordered my dress April 15, 2011, came in on July 26th, so make sure you order in plenty of time, not the fault of this store. I called a lot and sometimes would have to call again even though the girls would tell me they would call me back. Told Shelly and she said that shouldn't happen, she was awesome, even when I started to panic, she was very calm. Jeanette, my seamstress, was awesome, she was given 1 day to alter my dress (Shelly promised, it was a surprise to Jeanette) and she did such a beautiful job. I cried. It is a MOG dress. Also, I did not origianlly have an appointment and it was a Saturday and they were very helpful.

Wedding Accessory Superstore was amazing!! We ordered our invitations from here, and they were prompt and communicated great with us on writing up the invitations in the way that represented us best. We also bought the bridesmaid dresses, the flower girl dress, junior attendent's dress and garter from here. The dresses were absolutely beautiful as well as my garter and turned out more beautiful than expected. They were a little late delivering the dresses so make sure ordering them quickly but quality, customer service, and price were well worth it!

I had the hardest time finding a place to get my wedding invitations. Everything I would find would require me buying them on-line, which i did not want to do. I got my Save The Dates on-line but I wanted to be able to see my wedding invitations in person. I happened to cross the Wedding Accessory Superstore website and saw they did invites, so I decided to stop in and check them out. I AM GLAD I DID!! The store was amazing and so helpful. Kim was there when we first went and she was a tremendous help in picking out our invites. There are so many to choose from but she takes your vision and finds the perfect invite for you. We loved Kim and the ladies there so much we continued our business with them. We got our programs, menu's, my MOB dress there and so much more I can't list them all. Everyone who works there is so helpful and always friendly. I have recommended the Wedding Accessory Superstore to other brides and I will continue to do so!!

We purchased my shoes from the WAS, as well as the MOB dress, and flower girl dress. The staff was very helpful and friendly, and the dresses were beautiful. My shoes were AMAZING, and this was the only vendor that was able to get them in the time frame that I needed them. Literally arrived two days before the wedding!

This place truly is the one stop shop! I am so glad we found The WAS, I can't even imagine how long it would have taken to go to different stores for each of the things we got there. We live about 40 miles away from The WAS and STILL found it worth it to do all of our business through them - we knew they would have what we wanted (or help us order it if not), we knew the people would always be nice, helpful and personable, and we knew that the prices would always be 10-20% less than we would find anywhere else (even online!). Kim, the owner, knew us by name by the time the wedding came and was so helpful in the entire process. Though I bought my dress elsewhere (they don't sell wedding dresses, but they do sell BM, MOB, etc.), I chose to get it altered here because I they had such fair rates. The alterations lady, Mihaela, was AMAZING and changed a matronly lace half jacket into a modern bolero jacket that was exactly what I wanted. She added accessories on my train to match my theme and was just so pleasant to work with. All of my bridesmaids ordered their dresses through The WAS and they were at least $50 cheaper than they would have been through the store I bought my dress from (which was the designer!). I recommend The WAS to all of my newly engaged friends because they were just so great. Now that all is said and done, here is what I got from The WAS: petticoat, mother's dress, grandma's dress, 2 BM and 1 MOH dress, groom and groomsmen tuxes, dad's tux, toasting flutes, programs, thank you notes, moms shoes, custom veil, my jewelry, bridesmaids/MOH jewelry, tiara, hair pins, garter, alterations, rehearsal dinner dress. The selection can't be beat ... nowhere else in the valley could I have found exactly what I wanted from all of these items! Thank you WAS!!!!!

Terrible customer service! They ordered the wrong dress and to cover it up, they cut the tags out so I wouldn't notice. While I was in the store, they lied and said they checked all the sizes and everything I ordered was present. When I got home, not only were the dresses the wrong sizes and not what I ordered, but the tags were cut out of 2 of the dresses. I called the owner Kim twice to talk to her about it, and she never called me back.

Not the best experiece every time i went in there. I was in there a lot but only because it was a convenient 1 stop shop. But without fail, everytime we walked in, we were never greeted, rarely helped unless we hunted someone down and when it came time to order our invitations, we made an appointment to speak with someone (she was apparently THE person to talk to about invitations). My husband and I were sitting there for 20 minutes past out appointment time first of all, then when she Finally came out, she just stood there and asked us what we needed.... she never sat down, introduced herself or shook my hand - I was ready to walk out the door at that moment. Then i reminded her we had an appointment and would like to order our invitations and she still never sat down. We had the list of fonts, colors everything already picked out, but she would not sit down!! we got an emergency phone call and had to leave and i told my mom i did not want to work with her. My mom ended up having a chat with her and I never spoke to her again. She was just very unfriendly, unprofessional and it made me worry whether or not my invitations would get done! it was too sketchy for me...made me uncomfortable

I loved my invitations! I bought my save the dates online at weddingpaperdivas.com but I wanted a more personal experience for my invitations. The variety here is endless and working with Kim was a pleasure. I purchased invitations, programs, menus, and cocktail napkins from the Superstore. I loved them all. I put a lot of work into the wording and details but it was worth it because they all came out beautiful. I spent a lot of money on the details and had all of my outer and inner envelopes professionally labelled and addressed, but it was worth it because it saved me the stress and time!

Thank you to The Wedding Accessory Superstore, more specifically to Shelly, one of the customer service associates. I placed an order online and then called the store to make sure my order would arrive on time. Unfortunately, the item that I ordered was on back order. I didn't see the "This item is on back order until February" that afterwards seemed quite clearly marked on the screen. In my defense, was trying to be sneaky and order this on my home computer, while my wife was in the other room (she happened to be the recipient). Despite Shelly's efforts, she was unable to rush the out of stock item, but she did offer some great options with regard to different IN STOCK items and I found the gift I was looking for. Before I ramble any further I'll get to the point... I received the most friendly, helpful, and efficient customer service from the store personnel; in spite of my multiple questions, and order changes! I will definitely shop with the Wedding Accessory Superstore in the future.

They have so many books of invites to look through you could spend days just going through them. You get to see the invites and the ones we choose have seveal options and you can mix and match any colors you wanted. We had several colors in our wedding so it was nice to coordinate the invites with all our colors.

My bridesmaid dresses came out good especially for the cost. However, my bridesmaids didn't like the service of this company. They said the staff was unfriendly and unorganized.

The Wedding Superstore is really a one-stop-shop for your wedding. Both of the moms, our officiant and my bridesmaid bought their dresses here and we rented our tuxes as well. Although we recieved the wrong tuxes, they helped fix the problem and we ended up being happy. The ladies are very friendly and I'd suggest them to anyone.

The Wedding Accessory Superstore was one of my best vendors. The staff was so friendly and I really felt respected when I shopped there. I ordered my bridesmaid dresses, my veil and tiara and a bunch of other stuff. I had my gown altered there and it was perfect and the price was really reasonable. I like the fact that they are open 7 days a week. It made it really convenient for me.
Kim did my invitations and they were phenominal. She asked me questions that I would have never thought of and the discount was the icing on the cake. They were perfect and only took 10 days to get. I have to say that my only complaint was that they did not have a location in the Mesa area. It would have been alot closer for me, but it was well worth the drive.

She made thoughtful suggestions, after hearing what we were looking for, and helped us narrow down our choices from a seemingly endless number of books with a variety of different styles & looks (& price ranges!).

Once we'd picked an invitation, Kim was there to make great suggestions on wording and helped us as much (or as little) as we'd asked. We also picked out thank you cards & cocktail napkins - her thoughtful, patient approach extended to these decisions, too!

When our thank you cards arrived... they weren't quite right, not what we'd ordered... she worked with the (third party) printer and quickly got them reprinted for free. Totally stress free for me!

We were so happy with the invitations, that in the following months I visited the store again & again when it was time to buy other wedding accessories as we planned. I ended up finding the perfect veil, bridal shower shoes, and a TON of other smaller items there! (Didn't hurt that it's right off of the 101, really easy to get to.)

Kim's entire staff was friendly & helpful. I'll happily shop here again when friends and family get married!

My husband and I ordered the tuxes and our bridesmaid dresses through The Wedding Accessory Superstore. We were given the size chart for the dresses and instructed to order online to save money. When we called the store to confirm that the size chart was correct and advise for what size to order, they were instructed to go one size up just in case. All of the dresses were 2 or more sizes too big on each of the girls, two of them did their alterations there and were over-charged over $100/each, the dresses were not done at the time they had said they would be. I also got my dress altered there and was told by the seamstress who had talked to me several times about getting my dress pressed that she would do it for 65, left my credit card number due to my father picking up my dress and was charged $100. When I called about this issue they said I clearly didn't understand and refunded me a whole $17. I will never recommend this store to anyone.

An option to obtain branded bridesmaid dresses. Service in store and pick up was good - but do not let them do alterations. When I requested alterations for the bridesmaid dress, that's where they failed horribly. The measurements were wrong and too small and the extra fabric has been cut so I had to bring it to another place to alter and bought new fabric to make it work. I'm so glad I only had my hem fixed for my wedding gown. Even the hem was not evenly made but I didn't mind anymore since it wasn't obvious. But to pay $85 for the alterations of each dress... and not do it well is not acceptable. Bustle was also not done correctly, I had to alter it myself. I even told them the length was not right after the bustle was done, but they convinced me it was the only option I had.

They ladies at The Wedding Accessory Superstore were so helpful. I got my invitations and the sand/jars for our sand ceremony there. I would recommend going with them for any details you may need for your wedding.

We ordered the bridesmaid dresses and my veil here. The dresses took 12 weeks to get in which was expected. The arrived on time. It was difficult to get anyone to help on a Saturday, so we were stuck browsing on our own and searching for someone to help us place our order. If you sign up for emails, you get deals which saved my girls some money!

Kim was great to work with regarding our invitations. We did have to wait awhile before we could place our order but once it was our turn, she was very quick in completing our order. We received 25% off our order....they are always running specials. We had our invites within 2 and half weeks!

Huge selection of bridesmaid dresses and prices were reasonable

I got my shoes here. They have a bigger selection than most places I went to.

I went to The Wedding Accessory Superstore for bridesmaids dresses and they were absolutely perfect! All of the bridesmaids were happy and the dresses arrived on time. We all went in to look at the dresses and get the girls sizes, and then the girls ordered the dresses online when they were ready to. The only problem that was encountered was that when ordering the dresses online, the site was down constantly and when one of the girls ordered her dress it did not read all of the information she had put in delaying the order for her dress. After she showed her printed receipt which did show all the information, The Wedding Accessory Superstore paid the rush shipping to get the dress here on time.

I purchased my dress at another location, but I knew that the superstore did alterations and sold veils, jewelry and the other much needed accessories for your big day. After traveling an hour and a half to the store, I was first met with great service. Once I began my first fitting, I realized the charges were a bit more than I had expected. I found better deals on their website than in their store. Also found shoes $30 cheaper online. I began trying on different veils and was shown the most expensive first. When I found one I liked, it disappeared and was replaced by one that was $80 more expensive. After taking my veil home, all the beads fell off. I had it replaced and they forgot to put it with my dress. I had to pay $30 to have it shipped overnight to have it on my wedding day. Service could be better.

This place was wonderful for invitations, they are reasonably priced, they woman in the invitations department was super helpful in customizing my invitations, and I got several compliments on them! I had not one complaint with the Wedding Accessory Superstore!

I had two experiances with this store one good and one bad. I got my invitations there. The prices were good and they had a large selection to choose from. The lady was friendly and helped us with wording. When the invitaions came in the print was so small you couldnt read them. They had them fixed right away. I was very happy with them. They turned out beautiful. However my mother bought her dress there and it came in one size too big and we had to pay to have it altered to a smaller size. The dress was a strapless dress and she wanted straps made for it. THey told her she would have enough material to make them and we found out 3 weeks before the wedding that there wasnt enough material. When the alterations were complete it looked like a three year old did it. It was all bunched up where it was sown and you could see the thread from the outside. Dont go there for any alterations. We had to take it someplace else to fix there mistakes.

We got the bridesmaids dresses, tuxes, drink napkins, and a few other accessories at this store. The store is so big and they have so much to choose from! The staff is friendly, but their service is a little chaotic and unorganized. We had them alter the dresses and they came back very wrinkled. They wanted to charge $20 a dress to have them pressed. We felt the pressing should have been included with the alterations since they wrinkled them up during the alterations. We ended up taking them to the dry cleaners where they pressed them for $2 a piece! Overall, we had a positive experience with this store and would recommend it to anyone planning a wedding. They really do have everything but the wedding dress!

We loved our exprience using the Wedding Accessory Superstore. Almost everything you see in all the wedding invitation catalogs you can find in this store for a discounted price, plus without the shipping. They have tons of favors, and guestbooks, unity candles, garters, etc.

We just kept going back for more things. We ordered invitations, beverage napkins, and our cake topper from them. The invitations were gorgeous. They are the exact same one's I had found in a catalog I had ordered, but they were 20% off and came with 50 free beverage napkins. They sit down with you and help you will all the wording and they have books with samples of each invitation so you can see the font and colors and everything before ordering.

We got one of the crystal monogram cake toppers from them, and it turned out beautiful. We had to special order ours because was have an uncommon initial, but most letters are already in the store. You can always special order your specific font if wanted.

My girls and I also got rhinestone tank tops for the bacherlorette party there that said Bride, Maid of Honor, etc. They were so cute! And perfect for the occasion. Much better than trying to order off one of those websites and hoping that they will fit!

Also a great selection of garter's that come in sets of two...one for toss and one for keepsake. Much more cost effective than trying to find two someplace else.

My invitations were absolutely beautiful! Kim Strauss does an amazing job on working with your budget and finding what you want without cutting corners. She is fantastic on etiquette advice when dealing with split families and the like and how to present an invitation that makes your wedding look like and event and not just another day on someone's calendar. I think half of my Mom's excitement was seeing just how beautiful the invitations were that were going out to her family and friends. We will definitely be having her print invitations again when we have a large event to celebrate!

Wow, did we end up buying a lot of things here! We shopped around for everything and continuously would wind up going back to the WAS due to price. We originally found the store looking for the best deal on the expensive Bill Levkoff bridesmaid dresses. The dresses were over $150 less (per dress) than the store I originally found them at! They were still ordered straight from the manufacturer, but without the heavy Scottsdale boutique mark-up. The invitations were absolutely gorgeous with the best quality. Kim, the owner, was SOooooo helpful with great practical ideas along the way. With all of the great customer service, we ordered custom napkins, invitations, a signing board, jewlery, flower girl dress, bridesmaid dresses and I had my wedding gown altered ($125 less than the place where I bought it). Saying Scottsdale and Wedding in the same sentence usually leads to extremely high prices...we saved over $1,000 there...thanks, Kim! Our family and friends absolutely loved it!

For my wedding witch took place in Jully 18th 2009, I ordered from the wedding Accessory Superstore my shoes, ceremony items and jeweleries. I was really short of time: 2 weeks before the ceremony! Besides I'm living in Europe so the shipping take longer time!
The deal was to receive my items 5 days after the order!
I explain my request to wedding accessory team and they were really reactive! more over they let me know step by step about the shipment status!

We made several trips to the Wedding Accessory Store during our planning process. We went in to browse one day and then went back to have our invitations done; they were perfect and Kim was very helpful with the wording. We wanted some champagne flutes that were not in the current catalog, but they searched thru older ones and came up with the number so we could order them. I also found my wedding shoes there. Closer to the wedding, I went in looking for a different bra. The staff was again very helpful and put a rush order in for me. I also bought a couple of dresses for my honeymoon and had them altered at the WAS. The workmanship was exceptional, but I did think the charges were a bit high. They altered a dress I had purchased on sale from David's Bridal and the charge for that was more than I paid for the dress. The staff was always friendly and helpful on every visit, and even found me the perfect jewelry to go with one of the dresses I bought. Overall I had a wonderful experience shopping at the WAS and appreciate everything they did to make our day special.

The owner, Kim, is soooo helpful. She helped me order my invitations and helped creating the perfect wording. She is definitely an expert. This store offers a discount off the vendors pricing. I highly recommend the wedding accessory superstore.

Kim and the team at the Wedding Accessory Superstore were really helpful! Kim helped us word our invitations like a pro. She really knows how to word them right! Getting the proofs took a little longer than we expected, but it wasn't too bad. We still had them in plenty of time to send them out 8 weeks ahead of time. Kim was very focused on our budget, suggested ways to reduce the cost of the invites, and directed us to invitations that fit into our budget, but still looked upscale and classy. She offers a great standard discount off the published prices which is awesome too. When the invitations arrived they were beautiful and exactly as we ordered them. We definitely recommend Kim and her team! I got my veil, a hair comb and the groomsmen's tuxes there too. I have to say the tuxes were not impressive at all ... all but one came in with incorrect measurements and they had to be fixed ... thankfully the guys went in the Tuesday before the wedding to try them on. If they hadn't it surely would have been a disaster. The shirt the tux place shipped for my husband was really dingy and dirty, but luckily the sleeves were way too short, so they had to get him a different one. I talked to other brides who had the same issue ... in the Wedding Accessory Superstore's defense, it was their vendor's fault, but it still reflects poorly on the store as well. I highly recommend that you have all the guys pick up their tuxes at least a couple days before the wedding to ensure that they are measured correctly. If they aren't you'll have time to get them fixed.

The Wedding Accessory Superstore was great. They helped me find bridesmaid dresses that could be ordered and shipped in less than 7 weeks! It was a little difficult finding dresses that could be ordered this quickly, as one of the girls wasn't really listening to what I did and did not want (she kept recommending colors that I was not interested in, like latte), but in the end, we got it all sorted out.

The staff was friendly, attentive and helpful. The selection is great, and the prices are competitive. I went back over and over through my planning stage, and every time I was more than pleased with my experience. I highly recommend The Wedding Accessory Superstore!

Going to the WAS proved to be the smartest thing we did when planning the wedding. Kim and her staff are helpful, interested and genuine. We had some major issues with another vendor and Kim was able to get things done for us. We used this store for bridesmaid dresses, flower girl, Mother of Bride and Mother of Groom. Most of the wedding party got their shoes here as well as gifts for the attendants, veil for the bride and hair jewellery for the big day. The seamstress did a great job with alterations especially knowing our tight schedule with attendants coming from out of town only 2 days before the wedding. We have shared photos with them and all our great experiences. If you haven't looked this place up you are missing out. Kim - thank you for all that you did in making this a magical day. Your candid opinions and attention to everything was superb. Your knowledge and experience provided valuable guidance. All of you totally listened to what the bride wanted and catered to her ideal day. We felt like we were the most important people in the store even when the store was super busy. Thank you all.

I love this store. I can't tell you how many times I have thought of excuses just to go up there to see what they have in stock at the store. They have great prices and their online store is even better in that aspect. I bought several things from here and the quality of the service is great. They are always willing to go the extra mile for you there.

We rented suits for our groomsmen from The WAS. The suits looked very nice and the cost was reasonable. Our best man was happy about the $5 insurance on the suit since when he asked about it, the workers basically told him that $5 would cover any damage to it. (He didn't do anything to it but liked the idea that he could :) ).
I also went there to get an estimate for my dress alterations. The staff was nice, but the price was much higher than I ended up paying for it. Even though they state they have low alteration costs.

I wouldn't suggest to got there on Saturday though. Thats when I went in and I ended up standing around for 10 minutes for service even though I had an appointment.

I went to the Wedding Accessory Superstore as a last resort looking for my wedding dress. I had a casual brunch wedding and was on a very tight budget. I wanted a simple non-traditional yet classy, white dress. Most wedding dress stores told me to look for a bridesmaid dress in white, which is what I did. Most bridesmaid dresses take 6-weeks or longer to order and arrive and I only had about 4-weeks until my wedding. I went to the Wedding Accessory Superstore and told them my situation and the women there were more than helpful. They found me multiple dresses and helped me try all of them on and gave me good feedback without rushing me. They had a wide variety of sizes off the rack and I ended up finding the perfect wedding dress for the perfect price. It only needed minor alterations which they offered to do but I had them done elsewhere. I highly recommend this store for a casual wedding dress or bridesmaid dresses. It was a little far away from me but well worth the drive!

The Wedding Accessory Superstore is wonderful!! I got my bridesmaids dresses, tuxes, invitations, cake cutter & server, and jewelery from here and it was all wonderful! Kim and all of the ladies here are so knowledgable and fun. My mom and I had so much fun with Kim designing the invitations. I even took my dress into the store and tried it on with my tiara to make sure it all went together. They are so accomodating and want to make your wedding day that much better by helping in any way possible.

I went to The Wedding Accessory Superstore for my bridesmaid dresses. They were great to work with. I found the color I wanted and they searched the internet for the dress I wanted. They called me to update me when the girls had come or not:) They were very nice and the prices were great.

My invitations turned out absolutely beautiful and the owner or the WAS was extremely helpful with wording suggestions and choosing amounts. She also got us the best deal I saw anywhere for the type of invitation we chose. She knew all about the different fonts and even told us to request the ampersand in a different font because the one I liked had an ugly one. They turned out perfect!

Kim and her staff were wonderful througout the ten months of planning my daughter's wedding. They often provided bits of great information or suggestions that proved so helpful. It's those little touches that make the wedding unique to the couple! The mother-of-the-bride dress found somewhere else for about $80 higher was gorgeous. The bridesmaid's dresses came in and only one needed a slight alteration. They did a great job of measuring and ensuring that the sizes were right. We also purchased jewelry, save-the-date cards, invitations, gift bags for guests, menu cards, programs, unity vases, ring pillow, flower basket, and other small items that I can't even remember but were important to make the day perfect. I am actually going to miss having a reason to go in and visit!

Brides beware! My wedding date was quickly approaching so I had paid an exorbitant amount of money to have my maid of honor's dress rushed. When it arrived, my maid of honor tried it on to find it to be too big, and with no tag. The owner blamed the company, but in reality she had ordered the wrong size intentionally and ripped the tag out just to fill my order and be done with it. To make matters worse, we then had to pay EVEN MORE money to have the dress quickly altered. This is the most dishonest service I have ever experienced and would seriously warn anyone about bringing their business to this store.

I really wish that I could give this store a negative rating. Interacting with this store was by far the worst experience of planning my wedding. I had a shipping issue where I felt that the store had made a mistake and I wanted them to pay the difference in shipping costs. (It seems that shipping issues is a theme with this store.) I asked to see the owner, who was not helpful. When I expressed my opinion that she was not helping me she launched into a tyrade about how ungrateful I am and how I am getting married so I should just focus on that. I put my phone on speaker and laid it on the couch and my fiance and I listened to her literally yelling at me, threatening to cancel my order. This was 4 days before my wedding and it completely broke me and I started sobbing. This was that last thing that I needed. DO NOT GIVE THIS STORE YOUR BUSINESS.

I found this store to have a nice variety of items for wedding purposes. I bought a pair of ballet slipper type shoes from their store, in person. Their selection for a wide width was pretty limited at the store, but we managed to find something that worked. The suggestion to put shoe liners (gel insoles) in the shoes was a great idea! Standing in the shoes was very comfortable due to this idea from the saleswoman!

I would recommend this store to anyone getting married. I read about them in a bridal magazine an thought it worth the drive. They were wonderful. They have everything except wedding gowns. I ordered my bridemaids gowns through them and saved 20% on all the dresses. They came in just as scheduled and everything was perfect. A couple of the girls needed a hem and a tuck here and there and the alterations were only $35. I did my alterations here and even went on to have them press and prep my dress for my wedding. Get this, bustle points are only $10 each. I purchased my invitations here. Kim was so great to work with. She asked me things that I would have never thought of. My invitations were discounted 20% and I had them within a week of ordering them. As it got closer to my wedding I think I was there every week. Everyone was always really nice to me and even knew me by name. What a great store. Everything in one location.
You have to visit this store at least once. Bring you fiancee. They even have a big screen TV and couch for them.

I believe that all brides-to-be in the Phoenix valley must visit this store. It is well orgainized, clean and has a friendly, helpful staff. They have wonderful things for your wedding here. I bought so many of my wedding day items such as bridal shoes, veil, jewelry, garder, guestbook, seating chart scroll, invitations, gifts, favors and flower girl items. I loved this store so much that I was willing to drive 89 miles round trip several times to get the things I wanted. (from East Mesa to Cave Creek) I didn't find the same quality in other stores in the valley. Ask for Kim, she's amazing.

I absolutely loved my invitations! Kim was very helpful from the wording to the ordering. We had the envelopes addressed by the invitation company and she was extremely helpful in figuring out how to get that done. Every time I called she got back to me within the day. The WAS is a great store with a lot of other wonderful things besides invitations. It's worth the drive for all of your wedding accessories!

I absolutely recommend this store for brides-to-be. I bought my veil and tiara there during their discount weekends. I also had my wedding gown altered there for a very reasonable price. They have everything you need for your wedding under one roof!

Provided not only my bridesmaid dresses, but also my slightly unconventional wedding gown. Beautiful alterations done on site. Some communication problems, but always courteous and willing to help. Some lengthy waits in the store but an excellent chance for one-stop shopping.

The Wedding Accessory Superstore is definitely the place to check out for bridesmaids dresses, veils, jewelry, anything but your dress! I was able to get the exact same dress for the bridesmaids that I had wanted for $50-$75 less than another place that I had checked. The ladies in the store are kind and fairly professional. I had a wonderful experience with them for everything including how quickly they did my dress' bustle. The hugest problem was the bridesmaids' dress sizes! Every one of my girls (except the one that had argued with the lady that had measured her) had had their dresses ordered WAY too big! I realize that it is way easier to deal with alterations when the dress is too big instead of too small, but they went overboard. My little sister who has never worn a 4 in her life was told that that was the size she'd need. The dress literally fell off of her when she tried it on. Its a really tough situation too because you have to make to decision yourself and sign a paper that says you won't hold them responsible but then they really pressure you to go with the biggest size. If you don't know what you're doing its easy to just trust them and go with the biggest size. My advice is to get measured twice, once here and once elsewhere. I think that way you may have more of a shot of getting the right size. It is tough about anywhere you go with this though, and the owner was really nice about it all. I would still recommend the WAS. Just be informed before you go.

I loved the invitations I got from the Wedding Accessory Superstore, but watch out, this place can be addicting, there are a lot of cute things in there. Most of those things can be purchased online cheaper, however there is a value in being able to see and ask questions about an item before you buy it. My only issue, and this was 2007, was that the store was often understaffed, especially on Saturdays for some reason. I haven't been in the market for wedding stuff in a few years, but I would go back in a heartbeat the next time one of my girlfriends gets hitched.

I found all of my accessories at this store. The staff was incredibly helpful and not at all pushy. The staff provided tips and advice when needed and let me just look around when I wanted to be left alone. Their selection was huge and I found JUST what I needed.

The Wedding Accessory Superstore is a great venue to get a lot for your wedding. I recieved my dress there for only $175 however it was a bridesmaids dress but it was beautiful. They added jewelry to my dress and were great at getting it in early and not just on time and the employees were wonderful.

They were the best. Everyone there is very helpful. And they did a great job with my invitations, alterations, and ordering everyother accessory I could possibly think of.

This place is a treasure for any bride. They made the invitation ordering process so easy and they turned out amazingly. We also used them for our programs which were also fantastic. Such nice people here and so easy to work with. We also ordred our bridesmaid dresses through WAS and they looked so nice, but the price was so reasonable.
