The Wedding Factor

The Wedding Factor helped plan our special day by advising us each step of the way and coming with us to visit our clients. They referred amazing vendors we used - who were the following: Tiffany Stout the most awesome make-up artist there is, Alexey Kats who worked on the bridal party's hair-dos, our videographer Dave Williams of Cinemacake who did a stellar job and Country Meadows Florist (Hilary Felton) who brought our vision to life with the most beautiful florals. Well, where can we begin: their vendors florist we had to use was not what we had envisioned or discussed after multiple calls and visit with them; our champagne was never served at our reception which was put in the care with Kathy and Barb from my home the evening prior--a costly error and humiliating when guests after our wedding brought this to our attention. They lit our reception space up awful- seriously- bright spotlights that completely overwhelmed our lighting we payed for...I even had to finally walk up to all 3 planners while our reception had already started and ask the lighting be dimmed...as it was glaring! As if that's not bad enough.. They allowed 3 ring berets down the aisle without our permission-random family members, had the wrong unity candle setup, mixed up the bridal party arrangement for ceremony-Jewish so traditionally man is on left with his party; our cake table was handsomely placed in front of the fire extinguisher in our venue- so yes our cake pictures didn't come out that nicely with a fire extinguisher and hose connection right behind our cake. I would never recommend them unless you would like 3 wedding planners standing around your reception talking for the evening, a nice waste of money for the day you dream of.

Kathy was wonderful to work with, my wedding was everything that I dreamed of.

I booked Kathy a full 17 months before my actual wedding and she was awesome every step of the way. She by far was one of the best choicest we made in terms of vendors for our wedding.

Looking back now I am so happy that during our initial meetings Kathy helped us to formulate a theme and vision for our wedding. I went into the wedding process with an ambiguous vague idea of what i wanted but Kathy really helped to flesh it out and formulate it into something concrete. This was so invaluable because it served as a foundation and guideline for all our other wedding decisions. Kathy brings to the table fresh ideas, a great wealth of knowledge, and exquisite taste. She accompanied me on a lot of my vendor meetings and without Kathy as a sounding board I don't know what I would have done. Kathy always offered up advice and suggestions and what I appreciated that I never felt pressured with any of it. I have come across some vendors that can be overbearing and pushy and Kathy was none of these, she was so pleasant and easy going. And I will let you know that a lot of the times we went with her suggestions and advice because looking back a lot of her suggestions really made our wedding just over the top SPECTACULAR!

I always confident that we were in good hands with Kathy. She is so organized and on top of everything. I was always amazed at all the small details she remembered from all our vendor meetings. She was also excellent the weeks leading up to the wedding in coordinating all the vendors and the last minute requests and details.

The day of the wedding my husband I was able to fully enjoy my wedding and not have a care or worry about anything. Kathy and her assistant handled everything beautifully. My wedding went off without any glitches. My husband and I was also amazed at how Kathy directed the set up of our decor. While we had a fantastic florist, Kathy did a spectacular job at executing our vision and making it more than we could have even imagined.

I am sad that my wedding is over because I LOVED working with Kathy. I can not recommend her highly enough. From her willingness to go above and beyond what needs to get done, to her exquisite taste, to her great level of organization, and from her knowledge and expertise you are in great hands with Kathy and her team.

Kathy was extremely kind and sensitive with my fiance and I, and was a stickler for staying within our budget. As part of my family, she did many things above and beyond her normal services but I realize now that my day was so much better because of her!I had no idea of any problems that arose or any questions people had. All I was focused on was my husband and Kathy allowed me to do that by taking care of all those small details that I would normally forget about. If I didn't have a planner to help me on my wedding day, I think there would have been chaos. Her assistant Stacey was there too and made sure everyone was paid on time and tipped. I am so gratetul for their help!

Kathy is a phenomenal planner, definitely the best in the Philadelphia area. Her fun, outgoing personality really makes her a privilege to work with during the stressful times of planning. She not only has great ideas, but executes them flawlessly.
