The Wedding Store of St. Louis

Worst experience ever! I believe they finally went out of business, THANK GOODNESS! Rude staff, unprofessional! A woman had her screaming child in a back room and ignored it while she tried to sell things. HSe kept telling peple he was sick adn jsut cranky. Nice. I ordered a guest book and pen set. After 4 weeks I called to check the status adn was told the item was discontinued. No one told me. I was not given my money back and was told I had to reorder or loose the money. I reordered colored sand for my unity sand ceremony and a ring bearer pillow. I had already found a replacement guest book and pen set. I ordered tehses items May 25, 2009 for my September 5,2009 wedding. I called June 28,2009 and left a message asking for a status update since I was told it would take 10-15 days and I have not heard anything. I drove my July 5,2009. There was a sign taped to the door that said "closed due to unforseen circumstances". I called and drove by everyday at different times until August 19,2099-16 days before my wedding!!!! On that day I spoke with a live person who explained they we clsing and that I needed to come by the stoer to get my items August 20,2009 between 11am-2pm. I was there at 10:30 jsut in case. I waited until 12pm. No one came. I called, no answer. I left a note on the door. I assumed my items were never going to be given to me. I called The Better Business Bureau to report them....they weren't members. Go figure! August 31, 2009-4 days before my wedding. I drove by and someone was there! I went in and gave the lady an earfull. She gave me my items and didn't say one word to me. She didn't even look at me and acknowledge my anger. I walked out with my items. I had already bought repalcements, but since I couldn't get my money back I wasn;t going to leave them there. This place is a joke. They order from a catalog adn amrk up the prices. You can order everythign they have for yourself online.

They were very unprofessional, would never call me back, the invitations were late and almost past the send date and the some of the pieces were wrong.

The St. Louis Wedding Store is AWEFUL!My recommendation to all brides-to-be is to STAY FAR AWAY from St. Louis Wedding Store. They have no concept of customer service (particularly the owner), they do not back up their products, and if you have a problem with a product they will avoid you like the plague. They receive the worst review I could possibly give, if there was a choice worse than "disaster", I would have chose that! All of the products they sell can be found on the manufacturers websites or catalogs, they don't have any products that you can't find somewhere else (and possible cheaper - at very least the same price). A word to the wise.... before you order any engraving or printing anywhere, be sure to see a full font list.

We were able to purchase our Save-The-Dates from this store. They have a lot to choose from for a low price.

My invitations were great. They were simple, inexpensive, and elegant. The printer did make a mistake the first time they printed the invitations, but they quickly corrected the issue for free. Turnaround time was an impressive 10 days.
