We had a very good experience with the Westin. They have an amazing facility (you don't feel like you are in a "hotel" reception) and really, really good food. Our guests continue to compliment the food and are constantly letting us know how good it was. One thing: do not be afraid to negotiate with the Westin. Do not accept the first offer on a package! Pick and choose what you WANT rather than what they have to offer. They are simply providing you with options in their neatly packaged packages - it does not mean that you need to buy everything they are selling. For example, do you really need soup for a summer wedding? Do you need assorted chocolates when you are serving cake? (Especially when they garnish each plate with a chocolate covered strawberry?). Be smart and the Westin can be an amazing option for you!
Our guests really enjoyed their stays at The Westin Indianapolis. The Westin had all of the room features we were looking for, when booking our hotel block. The staff at The Westin was really nice about helping us make the reservations and also showing us the rooms so we could see all of the available amenities. Everything went off without a hitch the weekend-of.
Beautiful view of downtown. Luxurious bed and rooms. Lovely place to stay the night of the wedding.

Kathryn was wonderful at making sure everything was taken care of for my day (with only 10 days notice). She pulled strings in order for us to get a beautiful room for the wedding and reception. She worked out a delicious salad and pasta bar (where our pasta dishes were made in front of us). Kathryn also acted as a wedding planner on our wedding day by coordinating the pictures, ceremony, and reception in order to make things go smoothly. We were given a complimentary bottle of wine for the toast and the Westin staff cut and served the cake free of charge. The concierge arranged a carriage ride for a beautiful ending to the night. The Westin also made arrangements for us to get a gorgeous corner suite with a capital building view for our wedding night. The was a beautiful location with excellent staff. I highly recommend it.
