"Brides this is a hidden gem! My husband and I threw our wedding/anniversary party at the Carriage House December 8th. We had little over a month to plan the party so needless to say I was somewhat skeptical and very nervous! BUT I had the time of my life! The night was everything I hope for and more. My mother law had suggested the carriage House and when we saw it we knew it was perfect for the type of party we wanted to have (casual extended cocktail hour). The Carriage House is set in a lovely location and is extremely convenient to get to. The grounds are beautiful and the House itself has so much charm, it is stunning inside with a very vintage look and feel. I can’t say enough kind words about Maria and Tom, they were wonderful to work with. They work with a list of Vendor’s, for which we used three. Gemini DJ Productions, Valley Tent Rental and Zowie’s Cupcakes in Teaneck (delicious!) They answered all the questions we had and made some great suggestions regarding the planning and decoration. They made the whole process stress free – thank you! I certainly recommend the Carriage House, please check this place out you won’t regret it!"

We couldn't have asked for a better reception hall! We had an intimate wedding of 50 people, and the ballroom with the stage, baby grand piano and fireplace was the perfect size. There is also an adorable patio for cocktail hour, and the building itself is beautiful. The ambiance was also perfect! It was a pleasure to work with Maria. I would highly recommend the Women's Club of Englewood to any bride you wants an intimate gathering.

The Woman’s Club of Englewood is a charming historic carriagehouse available for small weddings in Bergen County New Jersey close to New York City. We can accommodate weddings up to 100 people. We hold only one event per day so that your event can receive the attention that it deserves! Our staff has many years experience helping brides make their day memorable, regardless of their budget. You may have an outdoor ceremony for no additional charge. A private room is available upstairs for the bridal party. There is an arboretum located two miles away which can be utilized for wedding ceremonies or photos. There is a hotel located within the town. There are two bus lines that service our area.
