I must say the Woodlands Staff and Food were outstanding. My expectations were exceeded. In fact I attended the function that had given the review above and when my friend booked it she did not book it as a Wedding and she was very wishy washy with the Director of Sales. She told her it was a welcome home celebration for her Husband from the Army. So when I was searching for a venue for our Wedding I checked it out once again and ended up booking there. the Director was very resourceful and creative and bent over backwards for us. Kathleen, Angela, and The Chef were outstanding. Thank you for making our day so special.... 2011 Bride and Groom. I will be back for another function and will refer the Woodlands to my friends.

I was extremely satisfied with Kathleen and Toni's professionalism. They were an excellent place to have a reception. The food was amazing and all of my guests agreed.

Loved this venue for our reception! Lots of windows let in tons of natural light. I can't stand receptions at halls where it is so dark and dingy... The food was DELICIOUS, and everything was set up accordingly. =)

I have to say the day of our event was good. The place was nicely set up. The staff working that night was wonderful. The food was good. It was the booking part that I did not like at all (reason for the lower rating). The lady who helped us constantly went back on her word - every time I gave a little more money something would change. A few times she was just plain rude. She had called me for 6 months straight before I decided to book. Up to that point she was nice and very willing to work with me. The day we went in to book - all the sudden she couldn't stick to our quote, because it was "too old". I wish she could have told us before we went in to book that the quote was no longer good (seeing as how she knew I was booking with them because of the price).... & seeing as our price went up more than $500 hundred dollars. That was only the beginning. It took her over 3 times to get our contract right. She would never write it up the way we discussed. I ended up having to correct it myself. Also she told us our 5 hour bar could be shut down during dinner for a 1/2 hr so we would not have to close it an hour before the event ended (it was a 6 hour event). By the time we went in to set all the details all the sudden that would no longer work...she claimed she gave me updated price sheet that had that info on it (never did). She did suggest just paying for the 5 hour bar, but only using it for 4 hours. I would have booked somewhere else, but time was running out. Also the day we went in to book she told me she had set aside 30-45 minutes for us, but instead rushed us out after 15 minutes because she had booked other appointments. Besides the headache of dealing with her, it was not a horrible place. Prices were reasonable for the most part, the center pieces were included (nothing too fancy - simple & nice), white linens were included (minus chair covers), food was good & the staff working that night was very friendly (Although sometimes hard to find so I would go to the bartender when I needed someone - not big deal). I did not set up or take anything down - that was all done for us - so that was nice. If you can get past the crappy booking part - then this is not a bad place. Nice room & good view.

The gal that booked this event came in to book a "welcome home" for "Justin" celebration (so she said). She came in and seemed interested and did not come back for 8 months to book the event. I touched based with her several times and she hesitated and wasn't ready to book for what ever reason. She claimed she could get a better price at another facility. When she did finally call she wanted us to honor the same prices that we quoted months before and it was for the following year. She stated she wanted something simple with a beer and wine bar only. All along she kept saying it was a casual event and was not up front and honest. I am a resourceful and creative person and have been in the food and beverage industry for a long time. Had she been up front and honest with me all along none of this would have happened. Something we learned in Kindergarten "honesty is the best policy" "treat people like you want to be treated" the Woodlands is a wonderful place and a great fit for most people. "shame on her for not being honest"

Depends on the day , date , year, the vision, and the event. We are very creative and resourceful and can help you every step of the way. Our goal is to orchestrate your "Special Moment" and what your vision is.

We have special packages that we are offering for 2012 and a referral program if you refer another couple to the Woodlands and they book their Wedding here.

We can provide out door gazebo chairs, chair covers, hanging plants, bottled water for the guests if the weather is warm, and the list goes on. We can provide them at a reasonable cost to the Bride and Groom.

We have standard linen, china, flatware, crystal and centerpieces that are included in the rental of the room.
What is your staff-to-guest ratio?
It depends if the Bride and Groom are hosting a sit-down served meal , family style, or a buffet. It varies with each event.
Do you require clients to use a specific list of vendors?
We do not require vendors from a specific list, however we supply couples with a list of suggestions of many if they need some assistance.
Do you require the client to use your musicians? If you do not require this, is that an additional fee to bring in one's own musicians?
The client is responsible for bringing in their own musicians. Again we can help the Bride and Groom every step of the way.
Do you have any special side rooms that can be rented out for the occasion?
Bridal Suite for the Bride and her attendants.
