The Wynfrey Hotel

We had a good stay at the Wynfrey. We chose this hotel because it is supposed to be one of the nicest hotels in Birmingham and they offer free shuttle rides to the airport. We had no problems with our stay, but I wasn’t expecting the hotel to feel so old. Everything is very pretty, but you can tell it has been around for a while. You also had to pay for Internet access in your room, which I think is ridiculous. I think the Wynfrey is fine for your wedding night, but I might recommend a newer hotel that will feel a little nicer. The hotel personnel were great though. The price was a little high in my opinion, but it wasn’t over the top. There are many banquet facilities at the Wynfrey, so if you are having your reception here, it would probably be a great option for you.

After an exhaustive day following my wedding, my primary goal was to unwind and get some much needed rest and relaxation. When we arrived, the room was ready and check in was only a few minutes. The room was simple, nice, and clean. I settled in and was totally relaxed and asleep within an hour or two of arriving. The linens were clean comfortable. My husband ventured to the bar later and was satisfied with the services available. The Wynfrey hosts a cigar bar/men’s lounge that was to his liking. The Wynfrey has excellent food and a great Sunday brunch.
