Embarking on the journey of wedding planning and preparation can be very overwhelming especially for someone who has no idea where to start. I met Victoria (owner and operator of Theory Weddings and Events) at a bridal fair. I was instantly struck by her friendly nature and her outgoing personality. We set up an appointment to discuss my visions and plans and I knew instantly that I had found my wedding coordinator. I cannot say enough great things about Victoria. She is professional, responsive, hard working, and truly cared about me and what I wanted for my day. She listened to my requests and ideas and offered suggestions when I was unsure or needed help. Every step of the way she was there when I had questions or concerns.

The morning of my wedding she called to check in on me, she coordinated all of my vendors arrivals and set-up, and put together all of the extras I had prepared and needed set-up. Every last detail was perfect. Victoria was the the first to arrive that day and the last to leave that night. Victoria was there to guide us through the entire ceremony and reception letting us know when key moments were coming up (i.e. grand entrance, first dance, cake cutting, etc.) and making sure we knew what was coming next.

I was able to completely relax and enjoy myself at my wedding and that feeling and experience is priceless. This day only comes around once. There are no do-overs. It was an amazing feeling knowing that I had someone as professional, knowledgeable, detail oriented, and organized as Victoria.

Everything went perfectly. I received an overwhelming number of compliments from my guests about how smoothly everything went and how beautiful everything was. I have not a single doubt in my mind that this was because of Victoria. She is worth every penny and more! I cannot put a price on the peace of mind I had that day. I would HIGHLY recommend Victoria at Theory Weddings and Events. My fiance and I met Victoria at the Bridal Show and out of hundreds of vendors, we connected with Victoria. We were so impressed with Victoria's vendor recommendations and she helped us to select our DJ, photographer, cake vendor, linen vendor and even designed our wedding invitations! Victoria is extremely level headed and she helps you make sound decisions based on budget.

Victoria helped our special day go extremely smooth without any issues. Everything was on time and overexceded all of my expectations. Everyone had a wonderful experience and we were so appreciative that Victoria was a part of our wedding day.

Victoria did a really good job on our wedding day. We met her when Garie and I had a meeting with our linens vendor, Irene. At first, I didn't think that we would need a wedding planner on our special day. Good thing my husband talked me into getting one and we are soo glad that we had Victoria for our planner! We met with her a few times before the big day and she pretty much told us things we needed to do and have that I never thought of. And on that day, Victoria was organized and most importantly, very calm! Garie and I were really impressed on how professional Victoria was! We didn't even know if she was stressed out that day or not! We couldn't tell at all! She helped us with everything from our centerpieces to our church programs. We would definitely tell others to meet with Victoria for their future wedding!

Invitation Theory provided everything the other vendors did not provide. Custom made invitations to our desired design. Their flexibility without any hesitation and overall support was tremendous. I strongly recommend Invitation Theory for any event.

Victoria was the glue that held my dream wedding together. After the wedding was over and my family was reflecting on the weekend, all comments basically revolved around how perfect the wedding was, how intimate the wedding was (with ~200 guests, that's not easy) and how it went off without a hitch. Yes, we did a ton of meticulous planning, but my husband and I would not have been able to book all of the incredible vendors (most courtesy of Victoria's suggestions) and would certainly not have had such a care free wedding if it wasn't for Victoria running the show and putting our plans in motion behind the scenes! We are forever grateful to her for making wedding planning fun and for making our wedding day the best day we could have ever dreamed of!!

Now for some more specifics...
This is the email I sent to Victoria after the wedding and I meant every word of it:
"As far as feedback, I don't really have many negatives to point out, but I can point out some of the things that we appreciated most. Your ability to get back to me so quickly and your flexibility in meeting and planning was second to none. You made it such a pleasure to work on the details of the wedding...it could have been a very daunting task but I always felt so much better every time we left a meeting with you. I never had to worry if we were going to meet deadlines or if I was forgetting to plan any of the details. The invitations were just phenomenal and the creation process was actually very fun and easy. You are very creative and very flexible. We had so much positive feedback on how awesome the invitations were and how they really reflected [my husband] and I. We also really appreciated the evening that you stopped by and went through the final checklist about a week and a half before the wedding. With some many different choices and details, you made it seem so easy and you were so organized that I could envision the entire day and the exact flow of everything! You also made it so easy to make the final preps with your great "to do" lists:)

The day of the wedding you were the perfect balance of keeping everything on track and blending into the background. I was able to relax and just enjoy the entire day from the moment I stepped into the church. From making sure the flowers were distributed to last minute bridesmaids' dress fixes...you and Sharon took care of everything! I can't even explain the amazing feeling when [my husband] and I walked up the stairs to the reception and it was like a dream...everything was perfectly in its place and more beautiful than I could have ever imagined (you really came through on the table cards too!! thanks again for that:)). Your amazing coordination really allowed us to soak up the night, talk to almost every single one of our 180ish guests and take some time to enjoy for just the two of us. We really couldn't have asked for anything more...you went way above and beyond our expectations and like I mentioned before, we are forever grateful!!"

Victoria is a true professional with passion for what she does and an incredible talent. She is extremely friendly and great to work with and is so accommodating to any schedule. Her prices are very reasonable and she has many options to fit your budget. She definitely deserves all 5 stars:) A true gem in San Diego!!

Victoria was WONDERFUL to work with...it was like talking with a good girlfriend. She makes you feel comfortable and listens to every detail you have about the visions of your wedding.

We used her for both invitations and wedding planning. Regrading invitations...BREATHTAKING!!! Til this day, we still get compliments on our invitations. Victoria has a great eye for elegance and class. As with wedding planning, we used her for the "month of". She was very professional with the other vendors and was able to create a great relationship between them all...which I learned was VERY important on the actual wedding day! When I needed some advice or help with last minute details, Victoria was responsive and supportive.
